Every person that worked at this hotel had a smile on their face, was friendly, and helpful. The front desk staff, maintenance guy in the elevator, and the restaurant crew. The lobby is fairly new and inviting. The only reason I didn't give the hotel a 5 star is that the room felt a little worn. However, it was very clean and comfortable. I would def stay here again.

I had a good experience. Convenient location, parking was $35. Hotel staff was very friendly. Free coffee in the morning.

I paid in advance for a room for 3 people with two double beds and when I arrived at the hotel there was only one room with a single bed, they put me an extra bed in which I would be extremely uncomfortable sleeping. After complaining and asking to speak to the manager they moved me to another room ,,, The air conditioning made for a frightful noise

We loved all about this hotel and here is a list of reasons why: 1. Location was perfect because we wanted to go to Chinatown and we were only 2 blocks away. 2. Comfort was excellent from a super soft bed and full size pillows to the spacious bathroom and glass door shower stall. 3. Very friendly staff, even a maintenance man ask how are stay is and if we find anything needing his service to tell the front desk immediately. 4. We at breakfast there which was $12 per person. Sounds a little pricey but you can order all sorts of stuff or eat at the buffet table which is all included in that price. Believe me I ate my monies worth. The only minor complaint might be to have the lobby area more comfortable and eye appealing. I mean you need more than 4 chairs please. Overall very nice stay and recommended to anyone going to Chinatown or independence hall or liberty bell and across the street from the convention center.

This hotel is old and smells, the curtains were smelly, the staff was rude, they weren't excited to give me extra towels for the person who was staying with me despite the fact that we had a trap person room. The phone looks like it's never been cleaned and I was woken up before 7 am every morning with loud screeching noises. I called and complained with corporate and even asked for a manager to call me, nothing from either!

My experience was a very pleasant one. The staff is very professional and the hotel is very clean and comfortable. Also it has a very convenient location,close to everywhere at a walking distance to downtown.

In general, my stay was "OK." Check-in was simple and quick. The staff members at check-in were friendly and welcoming. The lobby of the hotel, while small, was full of natural light and an inviting space. I didn't visit the restaurant/bar, so I can't speak to the price or quality of the food. Unfortunately, my room was filthy, the carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months (or years). There were stains and crud all over it, including finger nail clippings. I know hotel carpets are gross; however, this set a new low standard, it was absolutely disgusting. My bed was one of the more uncomfortable beds I've slept on. There was a huge dent in the middle of the bed and it was rather lumpy. It wasn't quite as uncomfortable as a sofa-bed, but it was close. The bed sheets were really dirty and most appallingly, there were blood stains on the duvet. When I told the front desk about the condition of the room at check-out, I received a dismissive "oh gosh, that's too bad" comment, followed up by, "well, you're all set to go, since your room has been paid for." It seemed as if this is a common occurrence at this hotel, because she wasn't the least bit phased by my comments/concerns. In hindsight, I should have taken more time to check out my bed upon getting into the room - I normally do, but this time I was in and out to make an appointment. My bust. Finally, the check-out process was super fast.

The only thing this hotel has advantage is close to convention center, the rest was horrible. The room floor is wood so you can hear people walking, youcan even hear next room snooring. Always noise, parking difficult. For the price we paid $ 160/night, is a ripoff. We moved to double tree by Hilton same price and a whole lot nicer

Hotel is located across the street from the Philadelphia Convention Center and 1 block from the Reading Terminal Market. Hotel appears to have been recently renovated. Very clean and bright. Staff very curtious and helpful. Room, while not huge, was well appointed and comfortable. Large bathroom with walk-in shower. Went to Philly to see the flower show and found this hotel. We couldn't have been happier. Great hotel, great location, great price. Parking is available in lot directly across the street from hotel. Very convenient.

Very nice overall. The staff very friendly. Nice clean room.

Good location. Relative modern rooms. Good price. But the lobby smelled for the three days I was there and the heat/AC unit was like a jet engine in your room.

Boyfriend and I attended holiday party at this hotel and decided to do a staycation. The hotel is okay, location is good. The king room was tiny. Not a lot of room for two people. Bathroom wasn't thoroughly cleaned, and small stains were on the bed sheets. Overall wasn't really impressed.

Staff was not friendly, overnight parking cost $30 dollars and the room was dirty.

Nice, strange that in the am there was coffee each day but only tea one day. When I asked for tea I was charged.

Staff was great. Location is sketchy. The bathroom was the worse part. Old, sink did not drain, caulk has mold, floor tile was cracked. Room was ok. Bed ok. Breakfast was good

Overall great stay, the last night we stayed a couple was arguing in the hallway at 2am that woke us up twice. Hotel staff addressed the issue though.

Loved it. Clean, and friendly. Greta location. Waling distance to eateries.

Specifically asked if the restaurant would be open and told yes. Went down about 6 and the doors were open and all the lights on. Sat there for 20 minutes while hotel employees walked in and out. Finally I stopped one of them and was told the restaurant was closed, I could walk up about 3 or 4 blocks to a restaurant or order room service. Ordered room service only to have them call me back and tell me what I had ordered off the menu in the room was no longer on the menu and had not been for some time.

i would not like to go back

I paid in advance for a room for 3 people with two double beds and when I arrived at the hotel there was only one room with a single bed, they put me an extra bed in which I would be extremely uncomfortable sleeping. After complaining and asking to speak to the manager they moved me to another room ,,, The air conditioning made for a frightful noise

nice hotel for several reasons

My experience was a very pleasant one. The staff is very professional and the hotel is very clean and comfortable. Also it has a very convenient location,close to everywhere at a walking distance to downtown.

In general, my stay was "OK." Check-in was simple and quick. The staff members at check-in were friendly and welcoming. The lobby of the hotel, while small, was full of natural light and an inviting space. I didn't visit the restaurant/bar, so I can't speak to the price or quality of the food.
