Novotel New York - Times Square

I must say that this hotel is located just minutes away from Broadway. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby bar is a place to be, especially after hours. The room was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. My wife and I can not wait to go back.

Novotel was a great choice for accommodations during a couple of days visit to Manhattan with the grand daughter. We were only there for two nights, and she, as did I, wished it could have been a week. The room was clean and well appointed. Our view of both the street below, and the lights of Times Square just three or four blocks away were excellent. The bathroom, specifically the shower, was outstanding. We ate at the restaurant only once, but it was way better than average for hotel food. Try the spicy meatballs appetizer ... yum.

Loved the atmosphere. It was a beautiful hotel, great location. Staff friendly enough.

Within walking distance to theatres, Time Square and Central Park - and there is a subway station close by as well.

Room was adequate however gave us a room next to the elevator and ice machine, very noisy, room not sound proof as mentioned. Also room had a cigarette odor. Central location great for accessing anything within the Times Square area.

Located in between Times Square and Central Park. Perfect location for theatres.

Excellent facility. Great location. Close to theater and restaurants.

What a great hotel! Great staff, fantastic location and very clean.

I was in Ny just for a few days for some auditions. Situated in Times Square, everything is close by. The staff was very welcoming and the room was beautiful, modern and clean. I would definitely come back to this hotel over and over again.

Location is perfect, right by the Times Square. Duane Reade, Starbucks, few decent diners are in the same block. New facility, best comfort beds and cleaniest rooms. Highly recommended especially at the low season with reasonable prices.

My parents spent their last stay in NYC before they went back to China

Enjoyed our stay except the parking. It's a rip off. They recommend to park at Icon which is a ripoff. They don't give any discount as Novatel claims. I paid $122 just for parking.

Very satisfied although found the beds to be so soft, my back hurt every day. Good location to most everything one could want. Truck stop toilet paper could use an upgrade. Maybe that's a French thing!

Great location in the heart of Times Square, within walking distance of many of the most popular attractions. Nice city views, clean rooms, reasonably priced. The staff at the bar area seemed like they were rushing us out at times, bringing us our check after one drink. Concierge and housekeeping were very helpful, and other staff were friendly.

Super location. Random choice that paid off. I would repeat if competitive pricing available.

The hotel more than meet my needs and for the price it is a 5 star. IT is always nice to be in a hotel that reflects the Internationale clientele common to NYC..

For the price--for even a lower price--this hotel was inadequate. For one thing, the room was incomprehensibly dark. Apart from one light right inside the room door, there were no other ceiling lights, no floor lamps--nothing but a small desk lamp and two pin spots intended to illuminate a book as one lay reading in bed and otherwise contributing little light to the room. There was no coffee maker in the room--perhaps a minor detail, but on a blustery weekend, some coffee in the room would have been nice (nor is there free coffee available in the lobby). The hotel's lobby is several floors above street level; to get to your room, you have to take one elevator up to the lobby, and then walk through the lobby, to the other side of the building, to catch an elevator up to the higher floors. And checking in was a slower process than it ought to have been. All in all, I don't imagine we'll return to this hotel.

We had a lovely stay at the Novotel. Ideal for walking to Broadway shows, great surrounding restaurants, Times Square. Our bathroom sink was slow draining so often filled up, that was our only room complaint. The room was small for a family of 4 with two pre-teen children, but manageable. Great view of Times Square from our room. Very friendly staff. The morning buffet brunch was overpriced, but the view from the dining room and the lovely outdoor terrace made up for it somewhat.

We were assigned a room on 23rd floor, which is unusually quiet for any stay in NY city. The room is quite spacious. It is also very clean and comfortable.
