Your Grandmother’s convenient, roomy apartment
The Kimberly is very spacious, convenient and comfortable. Every staff member was friendly and accommodating. Multiple subway lines are an easy walk away. The bed is comfortable and the sitting room/ living area is a great addition. Our balcony looked down 50th. I think the room next door had a view of the Chrysler building. The rooftop bar/ dinning room is reasonably priced and sunny. The one hotel drawback is the serious need for an update. The furnishings look like your grandmother passed them down to the hotel. There is even a display case of Hummel figurines in the lobby. For the price we paid, we expected a bit more modern elegance.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very spacious and we loved the bed. It was an adjustable bed. The knock on the property is it is located one block away from the Fire and Police department. We heard sirens everyday throughout the day and every night throughout the night….noisy.
