First and foremost. False advertising. There were no DVD player in my room like offered. I chose superior room for extra bucks and didn't get my money worth. Superior only meant when asked that it was a higher floor with a better view. " I would have never paid extra just to see no view of buildings. Other than that the Bed was too hard it was like sleeping on the floor. No comfort whatsoever. The covers were thin and cold. The room was too small. The furnishings need updating. The bathroom needs updating. The towels was worn and hard. The elevators was broken but fixed accordingly. Only one restaurant and lounge in which was boring and expensive. The feel and atmosphere of the hotel was just boring I had to go across to the Marriott marquis for food and drinks and good vibe. To watch the games and all. It was expensive as well but at least i got some enjoyment out of it. This hotel is just good for location only and i guess to get some rest when needed. Its not worth the money you pay. It would only be my choice again if I came a Year to see the ball drop for New Year's since I'm familiar with it now. Not sure what Marriott rooms are like. But they would be a possibility for me as well. Again the locations of these two are great.

Corridors and carpets could be upgraded. Staff was unbelievably great. Great restaurant.

Amazing location; Hotel was great too! Made the mistake to move from the madness of its proximity to Time Square for NYE...lesson learned! I will be back for 2018 in this exact hotel to enjoy the madness & its perks.

Very good experience, people are very nice and helpful, rooms are very clean

All elevators were not working, which led to long waits to get down to lobby. Water in our first room wasn’t working. Mattresses were hard. Hotel needs some TLC. Staff was SO friendly and helpful considering. Appeared to be understaffed for this busy time of year.

Great hotel 1/2 block from Times Square. Clean rooms, good staff, with a great breakfast buffet.

Unfriendly staff is the main reason we would not recommend this hotel and will not stay again. For example, when we asked for hotel charge receipt upon check-out, he said it was a great hassle for him to print and asked if we really wanted it. This attitude was the same on check-in and check-out interactions.

Cheap on their soap products, bathrooms are old and need a lot of updating (creepy, no way to get water or drinks in the hotel (no vending machines), water out of faucet was brown, restaurant with limited hours (couldn't get food, water or soda).

The elevators were HORRIBLE! We waited for at least 10-15 min if not longer every time we waited on one. And when they did come they were cram packed. So we waited longer. My husband and I eventually had to take the stairs and we were 39 flights up!! Needless to say we will not stay at this hotel again due to the elevators. There were 5-6 on each floor and maybe one or two worked!!! The room was bigger than most rooms we’ve stayed at in NYC. The view and location was great.

The check-in process was quick and efficient. All staff were friendly and helpful. There was a problem with the elevators, very long waits.

Location,Location,Location. Couldn't get closer at a reasonable price.Just off Times Square is optimal for theater and after show dining other than the hotel which closed early.Dining at the hotel was so/so and didn't measure up to other options in the area. The elevators were a problem. To get to the higher floors there were wait lines in Lobby and at each floor going down.Need to improve the service esp on the wait time to descend.Views of Times Sq were worth it from the high floors.

The hotel elevators were the worse I’ve ever seen! I think only two of five elevators worked! Upon trying to checkout Sunday we waited over 35 minutes for an elevator to come to the 40th floor. We never received one! A nice lady from housekeeping came back and offered us use of housekeeping elevator. If she hadn’t done so we would still be waiting! Very unacceptable for a hotel rated 4 stars! Thanks housekeeping for helping me and others get down to the lobby! Job well done! FIX YOUR ELEVATORS! I will not stay here again!

Okay room, overall hotel is a little run down needs work. Elevators were a nightmare... waited 30 mins for one. Ended up having to use the freight elevator.. Overall pretty disappointing. definitely not worth the $500+ per night.::

The hotel was ok. The room was a bit dated and could use a deep cleaning. There were stains on the carpet and the bathroom walls.

Staff was super friendly and the concierge was knowledgeable and helpful. The insides of the rooms looked like a motel 6 at a Belagio price.

Nothing fancy, but the bed was comfortable, the room was clean, location was EXCELLENT and surprisingly quiet for it's proximity to Time Square. Great hotel for the price!!

The room was basic and could have used a plug next to the bed so we could charge our phones, but, other than that, it was decent. I'm not sure if all hotels do this, but their TV had Netflix, which was nice to have at the end of the day. The staff we encountered were very decent people and very helpful, which made an OK hotel (3 star) a 4 star experience. For the money, I'd recommend it.

Wonderful location at Times Square. Clean and comfortable. Quiet and convenient. Big room. Would have liked a coffee maker and microwave and refrigerator for snacks.

Really great hotel, more budget than the larger flags, but i really liked it. I would strongly urge the management to get thicker bedding; such as comforters and sheets for their rooms!!!

Very friendly staff ...Very well located but the rooms and bathrooms need to be updated
