This hotels seemed very clean. It is also very convenient because it is small; there is no huge lobby and long winding hallways to navigate. You enter from the street, take the elevator to your floor and you are pretty much near your room -- no hassle. There are sufficient rest rooms on each floor, so I never had a issue of waiting to use a toilet or shower. The room and the restrooms were cleaned daily.

I liked it not bad not really expensive close to times Square

Small hotel. More like a hostel. The rooms dont have a bathroom the whole floor shares a restroom. Tiny rooms, have a sink and tiny tv. Staff wasnt friendly.

I booked this hotel mostly since I was traveling alone and it was just a one night stay in new york. If you are traveling with wife or gf wouldnt't recommend it since you have to share the restrooms, but they are clean. They price is a bit high for the standard of the room, nothing fancy. The rooms are kept clean, the beds are clean and also the wash basin. Its does have a good location, close to most attractions in ny city. If you are staying for few nights or more find a different hotel. Oh yea, you gotta pay for wifi but the person who checked me in was nice to get me a voucher for free.

So much noise because of great location, poor room and restroom conditions.

If you want to stay near Times Square and not spending a ridiculous amount of money is your main concern, then this is your place. You gotta be ok with extremely basic/no frills rooms and using shared bathrooms. Also, bring your earplugs if you're a light sleeper - the corner of 6th Avenue pretty much stays busy all night. Location can't be beat if you're there to see the sights on a budget.

Perfect location , clean , safe confortable room .... Bathroom is outside the room but there are three at every floor and always available... Staf was very helpfull and kind .. I will certainly choose to stay again .. Very good price and heart of the Manhattan ..

When I checked in around 10 p.m the guy at the counter was extremely rude and unwelcoming. The most inhospitable atmosphere. Bathrooms smell like fried chicken oil. And FYI - THERE IS NO PRIVATE BATHROOM - IT IS SHARED. Way expensive. If you wanted to stay near Times Square there are other hotels which are good and cost you the same. STAY AWAY from this hotel. Peace.

My room was facing Ave of Americas, so got all the amplified non-stop noise from traffic to night street trash & cleaning. Room was freezing cold, but extra blanket & heavy bed cover helped. Otherwise, great location & grabbed a discounted $170 "deal" online when I desperately needed to find a room & everywhere was booked.

When a hotel advertises free wi-fi, that is what I expect. Wrong! It is $5.95 per day. I also expected a bathroom IN the room. Wrong! There was a shared bathroom at the end of the hall. This dive is hostel - not a hotel!

I stayed there while visiting NYC for work and sightseeing for 4 nights in Sept 2015. Although cheaper than other hotels and inns in the area, I had a terrible experience. Despite booking a 'twin bed', initially I was given a very small and claustrophobic room with a single bed facing a brick wall in the back of the building! After discussing it with the manager, he reluctantly gave me a larger room with street view. However, being on 1st floor, it was very noisy even throughout the night. Moreover, the hotel was dirty and the cleaning staff did not replace towels etc. regularly and their presumably clean towels were not clean either! Bathrooms were cleaned regularly, but then again it wasn't easy to find a clean, free and nearby shared bathroom during busy times! I would not recommend this place at all and prefer to pay slightly more or go to a hostel instead!

An old and simple inn in the noisy district, I was awaken in the midnight by passing trucks. No breakfast, no free wifi. Don't expect too much, but it was still under my low expectation. You may spend a little bit more bucks for a much better experience in other nearby hotels. I will never go there again.

Location is perfect. Staff is super helpful. I would stay here again for sure even though the beds felt old and worn out. Bad noise cancellation between the rooms, then again you got NY outside the window, but that actually disturbed me more. We couldn't regulate the heat in the room which was little bit annoying.

If you're willing to sacrifice amenities/etc. for location, this fits the bill. Midtown Manhattan on a budget that would get you a motel room in Queens or New Jersey means you lose out on: -space -view(s) -[private] bathroom instead, it is a hostel-type, although mine was right across the hall from me, and never occupied -wi-fi/breakfast/etc - namely all the things other places give you to get you to stay there Again, IF you're willing to sacrifice for location/convenience to Manhattan sites, this fits the bill.

Just a bed, a sink and a TV. No private bath. Clean enough. Close to Times Square, so by far the cheapest you can get in that location. Had to pay $55 to park which was a big downer, and nullified the savings. They let you stay till noon which is very rare.

The hotel was close to time square, so that was really nice. Staff was very nice too. I did not like sharing bathrooms thou.

It was an interesting experience...Location was the key during my trip, so this hotel served well for the money. Things you should know before booking: the bathrooms are shared, old and not ideally clean, the room can be beyond small, have tile floor, and powerful stench (could not decide either this was cleaner, bug poison, or air-conditioner leaked antifreeze). Because of the smell, slept with the window open, street sounds are very loud 24/7. If you decide to take a shower there, make sure to rinse the shared bath tub with hot water first and wear your flip-flops. The sheets on the bed were clean, but covered with a filthy bed spread that wrapped around pillows and left hairs on clean pillows, so had to turn pillows.

It's useful for a quick over night stay, it was very basic and they had the air pumping cold.

Very good locations and good to stay for a short period of time.

hotel is perfect for my 'nights in the City'. I travel alone and don't need a lot of amenities. The shared baths are clean and not a problem there are lots of bathrooms on each floor.
