No private bathroom. The hotel must have that detail in the review of the hotel since the beginning so people will be prepared for this kind of awful issue.

The restroom is outside 😒. The room is to small and its different when I take a look the online picture.

No toilets in rooms. That’s the main problem and nothing else. I was not informed of shared toilets.

No one told us there where not bathrooms in the room

The only good thing about Americana Inn was the location. The room was not very clean, the mattress was uncomfortable, and the air conditioning created so much humidity that we woke up wet and freezing every night. My biggest complaint was that the shared restrooms were not clean. There was absolutely NO hand soap or paper towels. Body hair was all over the shower and sink and the floors were wet and littered with used bath towels. I would not recommend a stay here.

I was SURPRISED by how clean this place was. I saw other reviews, and honestly they were all stupid because of the shared bathrooms.. I actually read the details and knew about that before booking. Other than that the location was amazing and close to everything. The staff was a little... slow... but that’s okay because the city made up for it.

The price was right but the bathroom being down the hall and shared is not worth it. Also, when I asked if my credit card was just being charged for incidentals when I checked in, I was told, "Yes." But when I checked out, I was charged some resort fee-type charge, which is OK (just $24 or so) but when I ask a question, please give me the correct answer.

What we like most was the ubication. The bathrooms are commom

The Americana Inn was centrally located in Midtown Manhattan, close to wonderful, healthy food choices and ten minutes' walk from everything in Midtown. The continental breakfast was minimal and insufficient but did in a pinch. It was spartan, clean, and served our needs.

Americana Inn, is great place to stay for a few days in New York. No Frills hotel, shared bathroom, but always clean, friendly staff. Great location walking distance to rockfeller, times square, broadway shows.

Talk about a $200/night dump?!?! Lino floors, bathrooms down the hall, no amenities what so ever! I’m shocked we didn’t get bed bugs. We checked out ASAP and went to the Hilton ON TIME SQUARE for $30 more a night.

decent location but the rooms are not made for comfort, bathroom is in the hallway and nyc traffic is super loud with minimal noise reduction, would probably not come back again

Nice hotel, great location, cozy environment room was too tight

Unfriendly staff, smelly bathroom. It was the most uncomfortable hotel to stay. Staffs at front desk are extremely rude to customers!!

100% terrible. No bathroom. . No shower. No Servic.in the rooms Very upset.

room was cute. didn't realise bathrooms were shared (my fault).
