Hampton Inn Nashville/Vanderbilt

I always stay at the Hampton Inn when I travel to Nashville. Lots of great restaurants around. They have a free shuttle that will drop you off too! Rooms are clean and comfy.

I stayed 3 nights. No cookies. It's something I look forward to after being out all night. We arrived in town around noon but could not get a room until about 330. Staff kept changing and none overly friendly. I am spoiled by the other properties I guess because this could have been any hotel. Didn't feel like a Hilton. Room was nice, clean, great location for getting around. Staff again not too helpful on that but we figured it out.

The room was very comfortable and staff were extremely helpful.

This is my second stay here and I wouldn't hesitate to come back. Everyone was so nice and friendly, especially the breakfast staff. Shuttle a great perk. This hotel is centrally located without the craziness of downtown. My home away from home in Nashville!

The furnishings at the Hampton Inn were as expected, and the staff fantastic. The property is a bit more than a mile from the downtown party area, which is too far to walk. An overlooked amenity of this property is the shuttle which runs 7am-11pm. The drivers are simply fantastic. No need for a cab (which are plentiful) unless you're making a late night trip back from partying on Broadway. And as for your own car...there's free off street parking at the hotel. Just park your car and take the shuttle. Don't forget the tasty hot breakfast. It's a good one. Yes, I plan to return to this property.

Perfect Location, clean & friendly, but the trash truck outside my window @ 6:00 am was a bummer.

My husband and I stayed here to attend a conference in downtown Nashville. The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were all very friendly. The continental breakfast was wonderful. The free parking and shuttle service were a bonus. We highly recommend the Hampton Inn/Vanderbilt if you are staying in Nashville.

We had a great time in Nashville. Took Mom to the Grand Ole Opry for her 90th birthday. Had a good breakfast at the hotel and sat around and chatted for awhile before hitting the road for home.

First off the staff at this hotel is absolutely amazing! Everyone is extremely friendly and they met our requests with complete excellence. The hotel is in a really great location of walking distance to food, bars, shops & nightlife. The shuttle service will take you anywhere within a 2 mi radius of the hotel and there are also other great neighborhoods and such within a 10-30 minute drive (we had our own car as well). This was perfect for our couples weekend in Nashville. Thank you so much, Hampton Inn. We will be staying with you upon our next visit!

staff was great, shuttle was great, price a little high for 1 night stay. we would love to have stayed another night to see more of nashville

The hotel is basic and invites a rather loud, impolite clientele. For the few hours I was there, it was bearable. An excellent Italian restaurant a short walk from the hotel saved the day.

Great experience! We found the staff amazingly helpful

The ducks made it almost a 5 star. Beautiful hotel, ashame of scruffy neighboorhood en the expensive parking which is not included

Please post signs on each floor to tell guests to be quiet in hallways between ten pm and nine am!

Clean hotel with friendly staff. Well located. Excellent breakfast and clean. Strange closet- too small otherwise room everything was great.

It was a pleasure staying there. They were the friendliest hotel staff of any place in the USA that I have stayed. They seemed happy which makes a guest feel better! It was a great location for campus and the shuttle was nice for getting around.

It's hard to beat the location of this Hampton Inn if you are spending time at Vanderbilt. But, on a football weekend, you'll pay almost 4 Seasons level pricing for a regular old Hampton Inn experience - not bad per se - just what you'd expect at a value business chain. The staff was good and helped whenever asked. The biggest reason you go here, however, is to be in or near Vanderbilt. You can walk anywhere on campus from this location.

I was in Nashville for business. The reception staff were wonderful! At the end of each day as I entered the hotel I called out to them the above greeting because everyone was so friendly and welcoming. My daily schedule was filled with meetings at Vanderbilt from early AM to late PM. I wasn't in the hotel very much due to this. Kudos to the shuttle drivers! The rain and stormy weather was very bad during my stay and I appreciated the door to door and umbrella service. One night I had a difficulty accessing the I-net but the problem was quickly resolved. The breakfasts were great - I really enjoyed them.

Nice hotel. We have no complaints. We took advantage of the pool and the complimentary breakfast. It was everything we expect from a 3 star hotel. It was a bit pricey for a 3 star, but it's location between Vanderbilt and downtown probably keeps the demand high.

Hotel was conveniently located for a visit to Vanderbilt. The staff was super friendly. The breakfast was amazing and the room was comfortable and clean.
