Staff was very friendly upon arrival. Very nice, comfortable rooms. They put me on the 24th floor which gave me access to the ""Club", not sure why I got this, but they had a delicious free breakfast with everything from fresh fruit to breads to eggs, biscuits and gravy...the works. I was there only one night and was not able to use the gym or pool. Location is nice. Close to the State Capitol and performing arts center. A little walk, 10-12 minutes, to the Ryman, Broadway and Bridgestone Arena area.
3 night stay for leisure, could have definitely stayed another 3 days! beautiful rooms with cityscape view. visually stunning architecture and artwork. suitable fitness amenities and indoor pool. a few things i really enjoyed - exposed elevators overlooking the lobby! open lobby with light strings spanning almost 30 floors upwards! the buffet was excellent (first time trying biscuits and gravy!) and reasonably priced (~$20). very courteous and knowledgeable staff regarding attractions to visit in the area. Cons - no refrigerator provided in room. parking was a bit pricey, but expected for valet. the food at the hotel bar was basic, and overly priced for what you got. id recommend dining on the town. Overall, a great centrally located hotel to explore Nashville!
We stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights and had a amazing experience! Would highly recommend in! The breakfast buffet was definitely worth the money! Such a really nice place to stay! Will return for a second stay!
Great place to stay downtown, close to tpac and just a couple of blocks away from downtown fun district. It is a great quiet hotel within walking distance of the entertainment district. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean. Great views of the city. Updated décor as well. Amazing staff there too.
Nashville is one of our favorite cities to visit so we were thrilled when the 2017 CoffeeFest was hosted here. In the past, we have stayed at hotels closer to convention area, Broadway Street etc. however the last few trips, the weekend noise in that part of downtown goes into the wee hours. This hotel is so nice and quiet and still a 10 minute walk to Broadway. The room was clean, the beds were great and checkin was a breeze. There is a nice bar in the lobby and the service we got there was excellent, in spite of a large crowd. Also the rates were 1/3 of the hotels near the Convention Center. Also they had a complimentary shuttle that we used a few times and Richard was the best! So if you want to be near the Nashville scene but still get a good nights sleep, I recommend this Sheraton.
I stayed here for the weekend whist on a business trip and it was the perfect base for getting out and about around Nashville. My room (a King Size) was massive and very comfortable. The hotel has a good sized gym and exercise pool. Every room was taken in the hotel due to a basketball tournament taking place but it never felt like the hotel was crowded or too busy and the staff were friendly and helpful. Location is great, situated opposite the state capitol and around the corner from the performing arts centre. Printers Alley, Broadway, the Bridgestone ice hockey stadium and many of the museums are all a 5 minute walk away. The airport is a 20 minute drive away and very easy to get to and from (fares are about $20-$25)
We were able to check in early ( thank you Holly) to a lovely room. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Each member of the staff went above and beyond whenever we interacted with them. When my daughter & I were hungry late night, they offered to reopen the gift shop, and sent up complementary popcorn and candy. Such a great location , you can walk to sights & restaurants OR take free shuttle. * only negative is we ordered room service which was not very good( but hated to complain because hotel had been so good to us)
Stayed for two nights on business. Nice place, nice rooms but starting to get a little dated, bathrooms need upgrading. Service was good, only ate one meal which was good, really nothing to complain about. Issue is the price. I know, its the going rate for downtown Nashville, but its a lot for one night when nothing was spectacular about our stay.
This is our third year visiting this property for the SEC Basketball Tourney. Perfect from our arrival on Wednesday through our departure on Monday. Rooms, Lounge and Staff - All Top Notch! Key Folks on the Honorable Mention List! 1. Melvin (Club Lounge) A true example of what Hospitality is all about. 2. Scott & Alyssa (Lounge) - Customer Service above and beyond. Two of the best! Looking forward to returning in 2019. Go Cats!
I thought this hotel was very nice, large rooms, very clean, nice bar area in lobby. The only thing they didn't have was free water in the hotel room. There is a small market (from hotel entrance, it's to the left across street) which I found handy to buy bottles of water. Good location and away from all the bars and restaurant noise, but close enough to walk. Free Wi-Fi and internet connection was excellent, no problems.
