Terrible, rude customer service, drug users on property, noise all night. Look elsewhere
Nice comfortable bed.
Lynn the Hotel staff was Awesome! She called us to see what time we would be arriving. Checking in didn't take lone at all and before we knew it we was in our room and relaxing after driving 11 hours to get there.
Everything was good. The lady at the desk was super nice.
Unique property. Partially updated but good for our one night stay. Clean.
It's cool to stay in a classic hotel if you're into that sorta thing, it just needs a little TLC. It'd be cool if they re-did it like the Atomic Motel in Astoria, Oregon.
this hotel was disgusting and I got bed bug bites.
great room with excellent bed, microwave oven, bathroom and big tv
We arrived and checked in with the front desk, well we attempted to..... she didn’t say hello and when I asked her about check in time she rudely responded with a slight sarcastic chuckle about “not having a room ready until at least 3pm...ha”. She was horrible. We found a hotel down the road and called drake to cancel. I didn’t get a refund because it wasn’t 24 hours ahead but I actually don’t care because I was completely turned off by the staff. Horrible customer service. This place is a JOKE. Stay somewhere else.
I stay her every time I come to visit my daughter in college. Facilities have been upgraded.
The hotel was more like a shaddy motel, the staff that was around was cordial but not engaging. I tried to clean the pool one day and was yelled at by their "maintenance person". From my experience it looked like shaddy people were living out of the motel. The shower sounded like it was going to burst, the floor leaked water up and they shut the cable off the night before we left. They claim to stay where the stars stay, I will not be returning again.
Nice and friendly people, pool and laundry, neighborhood is not so good
It actually exceeded our expectations. It was a comfortable place to sleep and shower. Went to Nashville to hit the bars. This was a $6 Lyft ride away/ 6 minutes to Broadway.
I am surprised that Orbitz is affiliated with this hotel. Threadbare towels, sheets, a lamp that didn't work... A showerhead that shook, causing water to get all over the bathroom floor. Then, when we asked for extra towels, they couldn't bring them to our room, AND, asked for our dirty/ wet towels to be returned before we could get a new towel, singular. The night clerk was very friendly and actually let me use his wife's hair dryer, as the room did not have one, nor an iron, closet, luggage stand, etc. The bathroom was very worn down.
Unfortunately this facility is just very old and run down. I knew from the moment I walked up to the desk and saw a sign stating: "No refunds after being in room for 10 minutes" I was in for an experience. I was treated very well by the Lady who checked me in. She even changed me to a new room when I told her that mine smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. My new room smelled of cigarettes as well, but at least she was willing to help. My comforter had cigarette holes everywhere in it, I looked between the mattress and the box springs to check for bed bugs and found several dead roaches and tons of hair. I spread bath towels on the bed and that got me through the night. I noticed roach bait behind the mirrors and on the edges of the sills as well. There are a lot of scary characters hanging around the drake motel, talking loudly and drinking outside all night. I propped a table against the door before attempting to sleep. This hotel may have been a shining star once upon a time, but it desperately needs to be shut down and completely redone.
Never again! Not a smart move. Broken headboard, no stopper in tub.
The motel itself is no frills but clean and comfortable... located about 2.5 miles from the Ryman auditorium in a less than quaint but by no means dangerous neighborhood. Our primary complaint is with the staff. Checking was fast and efficient; however, at shortly part 12:30a I awoke to the sound of someone entering the room with a pass key. I leapt from bed naked and my wife screamed out as the man began ranting in the dark about how we had been given the wrong room and needed to leave immediately. Through a combination of forceful action and threats to call the police I managed to remove the intruder and bolt the door. He was ultimately identified by the property manager as the night clerk. Without offering any apology, her manner seemed to suggest this was a common but harmless mistake. I think anyone who has ever stated in a hotel/motel knows this to be absolute rubbish. I strongly reccomend Orbitz reconsider offering this motel. I reccomend any future visitor bolt their door and prepare to make a call to 911.

Dear Charles, Thank for the stay and the comments. It is pretty serious and we never condone such things. The matter will be investigated and strictly acted upon. Anyway, our apologies for all the inconveniences. This is an uncommon occurrence. Request your understanding and continued patronage. Sincerely, Hotel Manager.
