Best hotel to walk to all best times, great rooms, good food

within walking distance of all the high lights of downtown. Construction in the area but hotel provided ear plugs, a nice gesture, even when I didn't need them. Lots of elevators so wait times on the whole were minimal.

The Renaissance was very clean and comfortable and was very close to great music and restaurants!

Good thing there's iPod connectors. If you have one of those new fangled internet phones, though, you'll be paying 10.00 a day to connect it to the radio-waves. ...

Stayed here for a comic con. Although the walk was a bit rough it was easy to catch and UBER to and from places that were too far to walk.

Very nice. Walking distance to everything. Wonderful stay.

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Helpful bell staff. Room lacked a coffee pot.

Overall excellent, not their fault but construction goin on rt next door, if your a late sleeper, especially after a nite on broadway. Doors shut loud so that's all you hear too as people are coming and going. Very clean rooms modern deco

Nice hotel! The lobby is a bit outdated, but the hallways, rooms and 3rd floor bar is very nicely designed! We did notice that the walls are paper thin in the rooms allowing you to here the guests next to you talking and playing music..etc. Which is saying something coming from two people who live in NYC. Perhaps ask guests why they're in town and put the more rowdy guests on the same floors to avoid noise complaints moving forward. Please note that we were there during New Years, so I'm sure the noise level was elevated due to the celebrations!

I rated this hotel with a couple of OKs because we paid extra for the king corner suite that clearly had a previously known issue with the windows leaking and it was like a waterfall when it rained. We finally asked to be moved but they couldn't move us to another corner king suite and they wouldn't adjust our price due to the fact that we booked through orbitz. So overall good but I wouldn't upgrade again for that reason.

We had twelve hours on the road with eight to go... We wanted a hotel close to Broadway so that we could unwind a little. We chose the Renaissance for price and proximity. With all the nearby parking available, we still chose to use the valet parking for pure convenience. Upon our arrival, everything was just great. Easy valet parking, quick check-in, very nice rooms and a welcoming staff. I enjoy visiting Nashville, and will try to use the Renaissance for future trips.

We picked this hotel because we wanted to be walking distance to what people called "honky tonk row," and we were not disappointed. Walking out of the hotel, you turn the corner and you are right there. Some had heard some warnings of the noise from the bars... and yes, you could hear some background music if you listened hard, but if wasn't something to lose sleep over (and our room was directly facing all the bars). Room service was fast and very good. Rooms were clean and staff was very friendly. Would absolutely stay here again. Also, a 5 minute walk to the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Probably will not stay here again. This is at least my fifth or sixth time that I have booked due to its location. It doesn't matter what floor or what side, the hallway traffic especially at 2am-3am is going to wake you up coming back from a good time on the town. I had forgotten the walls are paper thin in regards to noise. Those catching a plane at 6am-8am - well you are going to enjoy the water running and the soap dropping that goes with that, not to mention hairdyers. Don't forget-walls are thin. The construction on the parking garage starts promptly at 8am with holes being jackhammered in the roof so that's going to about wind up your rest without earplugs. Our room overlooked the construction and up around 9 floors from it and even the guests across the hall complained - again, thin walls here. Our last night we were greeted at 7 am with an alarm which continued to sound for around 45 mins - understandable somewhat to hear it in the next room but this one was three doors down and across the hall. Thin walls. I don't have the greatest hearing in the world so I can imagine those that do taking all his in. Otherwise the hotel is well kept but they should have spent a little more on soundproofing between rooms - seriously unacceptable. Let's also add overpriced since I could have stayed twice as long at the Gaylord or Lowe's. Off the top of my head this is probably the first bad review I have written in quite some time - it takes a lot and no rest topped it off.

This is a great hotel in downtown Nashville for the Honky Tonk Row experience. Great location, great staff, very friendly and accommodating to visitors. Having Starbucks in the lobby was great for the next morning! Great place, intent to stay here again.

In today's climate with connecctivtiy an expectation-I had to pay for Internet in a 4 star hotel-unbelievable! This needs to change.

Great location and easy walking distance to most of the action. Very crowded due to the beach body convention.

Nice hotel and room but the sheets were stained. Took them 2 days of my asking for them to change them.

Hotel housekeeping was non existent the room was nice location was good but the cleanliness was really lacking. Mold on the bathroom tile grout and another guest or housekeepers hair all over the bathroom for 395 a night in Nashville I expect a clean room!

$300 a night wasnt enough. No coffee in room(want you buy starbucks in lobby), $37 a night parking(add$12 a night if you want to park your own vehicle(motorcycle in our case)), so plan to pay for all kinds of upgrades and extras other hotels include. Not impressed at all.

Wifi fees should be included with the room rate. AT&T cellphone reception was horrible, mostly nonexistent.
