The room & staff were great and very helpful. The only exception was the sink faucet leak (it can happen), but only when running, and the frig didn't work. Other than that, it was great.
THe room was very nice, seemed newly remodeled. Location was perfect, right off I40. Only 40 minutes to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We loved that because we were away from the traffic and noise. Staff was so sweet. Because of covid we only got a sack breakfast and coffee but it was plenty.
This is meant to be a no posh hotel and it served its purpose. Staff was lu rly but everything was very basic. Only issue was there were lots of roaches on the pool deck. I realize we were outdoors and found no evidence of them in the rooms but the pool was quite prevalent with them.
An old remodeled hotel with a decent breakfast, large TV and good Internet access. We had an end room on the first floor with a very very loud A/C unit and old steel front door that was hard to open. Lots of contractors trucks took parking spots rather than parking in the back area. Would not stay here again.

This hotel is everything you need in a simple, middle-of-a-long-road-trip type of place. The rooms smell fresh (not like mildew or smoke), the beds are comfortable, the breakfast is free/warm/delicious. Staff is friendly and accommodating, and they are pet friendly (only a $10 fee).
Returning home to PA from Tuscaloosa after dropping student for Siphmore year. Great room and very quiet. Could use full size pillows in the room - otherwise great stay.

Freshly remodeled motel not a hotel so plenty of parking lot noise to be heard. The room was very clean. But the WIFI was near non existant. Breakfast near typical for motel. But chicken nuggets instead of bacon or sausage come on! Who eats chicken nuggets with eggs?
On our way west on I 40 and chose Newport because of location. This best western offered the best price and free breakfast. The on site pizzeria doubles as the breakfast room. Also, the attached bar has good prices.
On the first morning, there was no water for a shower. I left for the day and came back at 1 30 to prepare for my dad's funeral. Only to discover, there was still no water. They were in the midst of remodeling bathrooms, construction mess everywhere. I checked out and moved to another motel.
Hit the pool right away...nice and relaxing. Went to supper next door...convenient. Ate so much that we didn't need the missing microwave for snacks. Slept like a baby. Had continental breakfast...good! Left and then had to return to get something we left in the room...very courteous staff.
