We loved the central location in a nice neighborhood close to attractions and public transit. The hotel lobby was a very nice place to hang out. Our room and bath were comfortable and in good order. We didn't like the high threshold at the bathroom, which was a trip hazard. The breakfast room was a bit depressing with little natural light or views. The breakfast was okay but nothing special.

I loved the location, directly across from the Manchester Museum of Art, China Town and the Gay Village.

This hotel would have had a top review if not for one thing: the bed and the bedding. The bed was super uncomfortable. There was little padding in the mattress and I was trying to align my body to be in harmony with the various sags and ignore the places where the metal wires underneath did not manifest themselves in a place where it hurt. Mattresses need to be replaced, and replaced with a plush top or other multiple coil based units. Secondly, the bedding itself was inappropriate for the temperature of the room, which is more than adequately controlled by the climate system. It's this thick comforter between two sheets that might have been appropriate for damp and poorly heated British homes of ages ago. What is needed are blankets. Maybe one on the bed and others in the closet to be there, if needed. This is very unfortunate, as the location, the staff, the room set up and size, the amenities are quite up to par.

Decent hotel just a couple blocks from the Chinatown arch and restaurants.

This a very clean and nice hotel. We had a wonderful dinner and everyone friendly.

Chris who is the manager was very polite and knowledgeable regarding any questions I asked, as for prince a great staff member tremendous amount of knowledge and very accommodating, the room was clean no noise from the connecting rooms and was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and if I ever go back to Manchester I will definitely request that I resume at the Arora hotel in Manchester.

Little small rooms but the value was great. Rheanne at the front desk was very nice and helpful.

Wife and I stayed in this hotel when visiting Manchester for a family graduation. Great location near to town hall, China town and shopping. The hotel bar downstairs was excellent and did some really good cocktails. The staff were very friendly and professional.

Very close for every thing boutique hotel classy very clean

Considering the cost of hotels these days, I found the Arora good value for money. The rooms exceptionally clean, the staff was extremely helpful and the location was perfect!

Staff very friendly and knowledgable. Superb renovation of Victorian commercial building in central city. 10 minute walk from Piccadilly station. Only complaint is need to purchase internet service which at 5 pounds a day is on the pricey side for such a quality hotel.

We stayed here for one night after a long flight. Room was clean. The bathroom was a little odd in that the whole floor was the floor for the shower, with a half partion to stop the water flowing over the toilet. The whole floor was set by the time you finished showering making it difficult to use the bathroom once you were dressed. Room a bit noisy due to rubbish pick up early in the morning.

Wery nice Hotel. Big room and wonderfull bathroom. Near to everything in citycenter.

This hotel was in a perfect location for us--close to shopping, art galleries, Chinatown and other restaurants, and a nice walk from the University of Manchester. Comfy room with many "James Bond" design features. I gave it four stars instead of five because the bed had a pit in the middle and the TV was small and didn't carry many channels.
