We went to this hotel in April 2017. It is a very nice hotel, and it's brand news so it amazingly clean, but it is by no means similar to the other 3 Paradisus hotels we have been to (2 in Dom Rep and 1 on Playa del Carmen), which is why we say it's a Paradisus in name only It is very small compared to the others so it has a very limited selection of restaurants and bars to choose from. There is basically 1 pool bar, and I am really happy we didn't pay extra for the Royal Services since the RS pool, which was very small, didn't even have a bar. There are very few choices of restaurants, and basically 2 for breakfast (although they shared the same small buffet) and 2 for lunch. I believe there were 4 or 5 for dinner, but the Mexican restaurant wasn't even open every night of the week. We were also disappointed with the Japanese restaurant's service. They told us they didn't accept reservations for the Teppanyaki tables so we didn't try most nights since w didn't get to dinner early. We really wanted to try it on our last night so we made an effort to go early only to be told they were fully booked with RESERVATIONS!! Obviously that didn't sit well with the Mrs. The kids' area was also very small and they didn't offer much for kids compared to the others we tried, and there was NOTHING for kids to do at night, which was sad since we got spoiled by the numerous activities for kids'a in Punta Cana, both day and night. Speaking of night, there was almost nothing to do for adults each night as well, and the place was very quiet by 10 PM. The would have some little music thing each night at the restaurant, but it was over just after 9, and that was it. Most of the entertainment was pretty weak too, and if you stay for more than 1 week you will see if just repeats the same crap every week. Another disappointment was the "hotel credit" vouchers they provided. When we were at other Paradisus hotels we could use it for the private/expensive restaurants or for the spa, but not here. Most of the vouchers were duplicated that allowed for a small discount of over priced golf courses in the area. Of the $1500 in vouchers we received we used not one sign voucher. I will say the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was fresh and clean, and it would be a very nice place to stay if you are not expecting the Paradisus experience of other Melia hotels. I would also recommend taking the local bus to Cabo if you are looking for a day trip. It was $5 US for the 3 of us and MUCH cheaper than the hotel taxis and only tool about 10 minutes longer.

Visited this property for a short visit. I cannot say enough about the staff, all the staff, from house keeping to front desk. There wasn't a person at this resort that didn't greet you with a smile and asked if there way anything you needed or required assistance with, just amazing attitudes from all. The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable with very nice views. I had never been to an all inclusive but this worked just fine for me. The pool area was amazing, beach was a little rough so swimming wasn't aloud during my visit. This property is located within walking distance to the Hilton, was nice to have the option to walk to this hotel to visit restaurants and bars. i will definitely be coming back for another visit.

Enjoyed a couple of days here and next door for a work function both resorts are great with different things to offer. The pool and pool side bar/ dining here are amazing. Also love tat they have some swim up rooms. Massive beach to go and enjoy but very course sand, recommend swim shoes.

We are a family of four.this is a beautiful resort . ERooms are clean and comfortable. The air conditioner is quiet. Matress is comfortable. The pool and cabanas are great. We upgraded to the family concierge and I Don't recommend it. We had $1500 resorts vauture and used $400 towards the upgrade. We had to pay $480 out of pocket. It is NOT worth it. Use the $400 for tips and you will get so much more service. The upgrade allows you to use an adult only restaurant that we can't use with our kids. You will get a personal butler that only brought cookies and didn't do much for us. You will get a better service if you tip the bar tender and the cleaning crew!!! The restaurants are short staffed. The servers are running around and doing an amazing job trying to service the crowd. They need more staff!!! It takes so long to get a service. And The hotel is only at 50% capacity . The food is just okay. The Mola restaurant was not acceptable. The food was not good, the market grill is ok. We are trying the Japanese tonight. There is top shelf drinks but you have to ask for it. I will keep you posted about the rest of our trip...

We had an amazing time at Paradisus Los Cabos. As a Travel Agent I will highly recommend the resort to all my clients, friends and family. The service is excellent. The staff is very friendly. The food is excellent and also the entertainment in the evening. The two guys working on the beach serving us drinks and making sure we had shade and towels was amazing. They should be paid higher. They did an awesome job running back and forth making sure everybody was taken care of in the heat. The only thing missing was a convenience store were you can buy small things like sunscreen etc. I think it's coming though. I will for sure come back.

Company negotiated complete Buy out of hotel in addition to Hilton next door to support recognition event. Was win win negotiation as Hilton residents were granted full Access to all inclusive amenities of paradisus. They also had larger conference room on island to host the business meeting so most meetings and meals were Hed at this hotel and others just slept at Hilton rooms next door. Food and drinks were good ( not high end quality but good enough). Pool and beach views were excellent. I didn't get to see hotel rooms but was told they were nicely appointed although Not as nice as Hilton. Staff was very very nice to everyone and hotel was able to handle the large group size. Given risks of going off property I would highly recommend going all inclusive route which makes this property so high in my rating for this area in Mexico .

A Gem found in Paradise I don't want to sound redundant yet it is truly hard not to resonate the abundant compliments the staff and Melia Property so deserve. From the moment one arrives till departure, one experiences unaltered level of gracious hospitality. If there is one thing Melia has done wrong- it would be how perfect they made our stay to be. Below is my own experiences, which I am glad to share for your reference. Feel free to skip and go straight to my pictures as they do "speak a thousand words." Upon arrival, we discovered that our iphone got left behind in the airport car service. Omar at the Concierge ran after the limousine. He immediately contacted the company and retrieved the iPhone-what a life saver. Throughout our stay, Omar would go out of his way to check in on us. He gave us directions on how to tour nearby town to fit our style. Omar was very genuine and wanted to ensure that our time in Mexico was filled with positive memories--thank you. As soon as iPhone retrieved, we ran into group of visitors checking in. The load of arrivals caused bit of a mix up with room reservation. Luckily, Pascal came over to handle the matter in an extremely calm and an absolute dignified way. He is such a pleasant man. Unlike many hotelier, he doesn't ramble on and on with excuses. Pascal was right to the point and aimed at resolving matters graciously. He efficiently got us into our rooms so we could kick off our vacation spared us of unnecessary drama--we thank him sincerely for that. The hiccups followed by days of, lack of a better word, endless pampering from the pool, to the restaurants, to the beach! Melia staff ran, whether it be the hectic restaurants/poolside food and beverage/room services like clockwork. Each department staff emits a deep sense of pride with his/her position and that translates to their positive attitude at work. We were greeted with smiles at all time. Esteban from Marco. Excellent! Great Hotel and Staff. Great Location, near major attractions. Very Easy Transportation when needed. Beautiful Resort! Pascual at Front Desk you are the Man!. Luis at Bana very nice and helpful! Omar at the Marketplace very professional, Beatriz at Palapa and the staff at the Gabi Bar very nice and helpful! I mentioned that we are on vacation for our Anniversary, they welcomed us in the room with sweet treat and delicacies and a bottle of champagne.The Bar staff at the pool cool people! Newly decorated, nice rooms. Towels and Sheets always fresh, pampered room service at all times! in room stock bar always refilled! Thank you for the experience and entertainment for my kids and at night, definitely will come back!

The hotel has recently been completely renovated, everything is so beautiful and tastefully done. Congratulations to the Interior Design Firm on this project! We all enjoyed ourselves very much. We stayed for 7 nights and had delicious food and fantastic service for every meal. Each evening there was a different music group performing. They were all great, and it was so enjoyable to listen while we were having cocktails and dinner. As I said, the resort is beautiful. However, what really made our stay amazing was the wonderful staff. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a courteous and upbeat Bellboy named Antero, he got our luggage organized and delivered to our rooms quickly and continued being very helpful throughout our stay. Everyone went above and beyond our expectations, by taking the very best care of us. From the guys down on the beach at the Coco Bar, who would take chaises and umbrellas to the waters edge for us. Then mix and bring tasty drinks and food with such prompt service, we didn't ever feel like we waited for anything.To our favorite servers in the restaurants, Omar, Diego, Monica, Fernando, David and of course, Marcos by the pool, who continually surprised and delighted us with their thoughtfulness. To the housekeeping staff who kept everything spotless. Last but not least a very efficient front desk, getting us checked in and out quickly and always there to answer questions. I have to give a special mention to Pascual Mojica, the Front Desk Manager. He took time out of his busy schedule to give us a personal thank you as we were checking out. This put a wonderful personal touch the end of our stay. To say we would return to the Paradisus Los Cabos, is an understatement.

The hotel is stunning! We loved the beautifully decorated public areas and restaurants. Our room had a stunning view, and the bed was so clean and comfortable. The staff was very attentive and friendly, but not pushy. It was a bit disappointing that we couldn't really swim in the ocean because the riptides were so powerful while we were there, but we thoroughly enjoyed the sand at the beach, and the pool. We were sad to leave.
