This place is not well maintained...dirty bathrooms, tile in the pool is chipping everywhere so watch your feet bc they will get cut and construction going on next door. Do yourself a huge favor and pay a little extra to stay at Royal Demaracon a few blocks away.

The room for two people is ok. However, they almost double the price for two additional guests without any additional comfort to the room. It only has two double beds that are not even queen size. In the same hotel, two individual bedrooms will have the same cost. I enjoyed the beach and location but feel cheated with the additional guests fees in a single bedroom.

We needed to book one night at a hotel before our main hotel could take us. We a had a pretty good experience at this hotel, in spite of several shortcomings. The key card didn’t always work to the room. There were only two towels in the room, though there were 3 of us. Only the toilet paper on the roll, and no backup for when we ran out. Not all the outlets in the room worked, and the slide-bolt on the door was frozen and wouldn’t work. In spite of that, we had a great time in the pool, and at the bar. The bar food was mediocre while the restaurant food was pretty good! Staff was outstanding, which made up for a lot. It’s not a resort, but you’re not paying for a resort. All-in-all, it was kind of divey but fine, and depends on your attitude whether you would be bothered by the shortcomings…
The facility is definitely an older resort, all common areas were in good condition. The rooms were clean and a bit out dated, but adequate for us. Where the place really shines is it's staff and food. Waiters and maids were very friendly and eager to serve. The menu varied daily, with beef, pork, chicken, shrimp and fish. The restaurant was what I'd call, all you can eat style with steaks, Asian, omelets and more grilled to order, always with a local flair. Snack bar and bar service by the pool was excellent. Great mix of tourists and native vacationers made for a great experience. Definitely my top choice to return to in San Jose del Cabo!
A good value. The staff is friendly and helpful. The omelette bar, taco bar, onion rings, shrimp cocktail, ceviche and fresh fruit are fantastic.
Very good value if you're looking to just relax. Those wanting more action, will want to stay somewhere else.
Very nice place good workers
Unfortunately, we were only at Posada Real for one night. Our dinner was very good and the breakfast was fun! I only wish the beach had been open to go in the water.
The property is old and many of the buildings have peeling paint, cracks in the plaster and stains on the walls. The beds are full size and are beyond uncomfortable…they do not disclose until check in that there is no swimming on the beach due to the rip current. The food is marginal at best. The staff is friendly which is the only good thing about this property. I would suggest to spend the additional money and stay at another resort.
