Great place! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Barcelo. Nice property and the staff, especially at the bar and restaurants, were awesome. Would definitely go back!

Covid safety measures were amazing Staff were very friendly and helpful

Out of the 4 restaurants only 1 was open every night with the buffet. Most of the time you couldn’t get a reservation and only option is the buffet. The hotel next door is under a Renovation so every morning we woke up by 8 o’clock with the sound of a saw as they were cutting tiles. The choice of alcohol was limited and in my opinion not worth the all inclusive price. The pool was not heated and was 72° which is a little chilly for my taste.

Pros: Nice resort, helpful and polite stuff, Clean rooms. Cons: very little choice of food, no entertainment (been told it is due to Covid). The resort has 5 pools and a nice beach, but the ocean waters are dangerous and aggressive all the time, so you can swim just in the pools. Overall it was a good stay, but I don’t think we are going to come back.

I like how the property looks from the outside and even the common areas where the pools are located However the place isn’t that big and the food was terrible! They only had a few restaurants and two of them were buffets. I ate out every evening for dinner because I refused to eat there. I had problems with getting wash cloths because for some reason they never left any in the bathroom. I had to call the front desk twice to get them to bring me some then they only left me 2! The showers were dirty and I can tell they hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. The liquor was not good and the margaritas were too sweet. However they always made sure that the common areas were cleaned and sanitized often and they made us wear mask when we went to get food at the buffet I only went at breakfast and they always served us. We wasn’t really allowed to help ourselves and they made us practice social distance inside the restaurant. I love Los Cabos however I would not stay at this resort again and would not recommend it to anyway to stay there.

The location of the resort is great. The food was not good at all. Not too much to choose from on a buffet style. There was a hair on my cut fruit one morning.

The place was fantastic, very clean, they are taking all the precautions. Food was good. Freddy the bartender and Maria took excellent care of us as well as the rest of the staff! Beautiful property. We rented a car from Enterprise and felt very safe driving between San Jose and Cabo San Lucas. Just got back last night and already want to go back... Viva Los Cabos!

Way overpriced for what you get! We also had bed bugs and had to change rooms.

All the staff was amazing. Their positive attitudes and friendliness greatly made the experience. The food was a bit hit or miss, and at times TERRIBLE

The grounds and beaches was immaculate. Our room and views of the beautiful beach was phenomenal

everything was paid for meals, drinks and . meals. very clean and security everywhere

The resort itself was lovely as well as the staff. It was hot, hot and the beach here was too unsafe to swim. My husband actually helped to save a near drowning victim. The place was very clean but there were ants crawling through the bed. After shaking out the bed linens each night still hard to rest comfortably. The food was decent but many of the guests handled the buffet food and utensils inappropriately. I felt it needed to be supervised as we watched people handle food with their hands, eat while filling their plates, lick their fingers, and pick up serving utensils. Yuck. We were as careful as could be and still got deadfully ill. This alone has diswaded us from wanting to visit Mexico any time soon. We were able to get assistance from the hotel nurse who was wonderful. It would have cost us $120 + meds to see the Doctor if we needed medication. This did not seem fair since we were sick because of the hotel food. Because my husband was so ill we asked to reschedule an excursion, Greyline refused stating it was against there policy and unfortunately their conversation included the fact that we were Americanos. Otherwise, they were prompt and reliable. The big boss and Sergio from the resort were able to facilitate this request. Always, vendors and drug dealers circling like piranas on the beach. There was security keeping it to a dull roar. There was one adult only pool. Parents disregarded the rule which was disrespectful to others. One pool bar overwrought by children
