We stayed at the Hyatt Ziva for a wedding and it is a nice property. A few minor vices: The pools were a bit chilly. Also, at night when nobody is in them, the water sits still and you can see the film of sunscreen on top. The biggest thing that threw me off was at check-in, we had to pay a $250 deposit + the environmental tax fee. I knew about the environmental tax fee, but there was no mention of a $250 deposit in any of my confirmation emails. However, the staff was very attentive and patient at check-in, as well as throughout the trip. Everyone we encountered greeted us and seemed genuinely interested in our wellbeing during our stay. Also, the wedding we attended was very well executed. There were several staff members making sure everything went perfect, and it honestly did. It was the most fun wedding we have attended in a while! I would definitely recommend this property to host an event.

Didn’t not like that you have to pay for the day beds by the pool like $150 a day the food was alright the drinks in the pool bar were bad the restaurants were good overall

This was my first time doing the all inclusive, and I must say it was everything. The only thing I don’t eat a lot or drink, so that was the only thing that I didn’t utilize as much as someone who eats a lot and drinks. Other than that, great experience.
