Just got back from 5 nights at Pacifica and it was wonderful. The food was excellent, the room was comfortable and well-appointed, and the property overall is lovely and clean. There were weddings multiple nights but they shut them down around 11 and the rest of the night was just ocean waves. Didn't hear anything from the surrounding rooms even once. Super quiet. We are homebodies but it is very convenient to be able to take a shuttle to the golf course or the other resorts for an easy change of scenery and vibe.
Before we went I read a number of comments about the All-Inclusive vs Timeshare issues but honestly I did not find it to be a problem. All staff were very clear when an item would be an extra charge over the AI package and when we checked out there were absolutely no unexpected charges. It does take a moment longer to scan your bracelet at meals than other AI resorts where everyone is on the same package, but it's a very minor thing at worst and not a problem at all if you know what to expect.
I cannot say enough nice things about the staff, though -- our butlers Dulce and Gabriel were attentive and lovely and went way overboard arranging for birthday surprises for my husband all weekend. Waitstaff at all restaurants were helpful and friendly and we did not want for a single thing the whole time. Excellent, excellent service. We had a wonderful time and the staff was a big part of that.
