We had a great time. Overall the hotel was great. The a.c. was loud in the room and our bed was uncomfortable. The pool and food were great.

I was really impressed by this Riu compared to another one I stayed at. I enjoyed the view, food and bartenders.

Relaxing but too much partying and drinking for our taste. Grounds were well kept. All the cleaning staff and servers were very hard workers and friendly. Just couldn’ get enough of the view!

A beautiful hotel with fantastic views!!! Staff were all very friendly. Hotel was very well maintained. Great first visit to Cabo!

Amazing staff. Extremely attentive. Tasteful restaurants. Fun and entertaining activities. Amazing environment. Will definitely be back.

We loved this hotel. I honestly have never been a huge fan of all inclusive resorts but this changed my mind. The buffet food was actullay good, especially breakfast! The resort is beautiful and the staff is friendly. Infinity pools are always a nice touch. I was a little surprised that the only swim up bar was at the smallest pool in the center of the resort. Would’ve thought they would include one in the ‘party pool.’ My only small gripe (and it’s not that big of a deal) is that the towel hut was only on one side of the resort, would’ve liked if they had one on both sides. Gear time! Would recommend!

Enjoyed our week here and liked that they had two pools, one for the partiers and one for the non partiers. Food was great. Beach and water here is not for swimming, waves and undertow are two strong. Nice location for being able to walk on the beach though.

Watching the huge waves crash in one day was spectacular and caught everybody's attention. We took a short cab ride to the marina and got into a glass bottom boat to view tropical fish and get around the corner of Lands End and see the arch. Food and drinks were good even though the alcohol content seemed rather low. If you're looking to get drunk bring your own bottle or go into town. This is a great relaxing resort with excellent drinks even though the alcohol content is low. If you're a Wine Drinker be sure to sample some of the wines before you have your glass filled because some of the wines are on the bitter side while others quite good.

The resort was beautiful! The grounds were clean and very well kept. The entire staff was very helpful and friendly. I throughly enjoyed every part of this wonderful resort!

We have stayed at the RIU Palace in Cabo several times but this was our first visit since the facility update. We stayed in a room with a private swim up/out pool that also has a large patio. Every morning two beach towels appeared on our loungers on the patio and every day the fridge restocked itself with beverages. I did appreciate the club soda in the fridge to mix with the hard alcohol in the dispenser above the fridge. (Well done RIU). The updates to the resort I found to be a very nice touch. An air conditioned room w/ all the snacks/coffee/espresso/beer/wine/sparkling right off the lobby to wait in for excursion travel I thought was genius and was used often. The food was very good again and I took advantage of the San Jose Restaurant several times. The patio over the beach has no rival for a nice place to dine and enjoy the view. The updated cardio gym was nice at the beach level and shade structures at the pools were a well thought out touch.

A very nice hotel right on the beach with an amazing view. The food was pretty good and staff was nice and friendly. However I got food poisoning during the last night of my stay. Appearantly it's a common infection that people catch in Mexico so beware of the seafood, especially half raw like ceviche, muscles etc.

My wife & I travelled to the Riu Palace from Seattle for our Anniversary from 9/22-9/29 with a couple of our friends. While Riu Palace was recommended to us by our friends, we were nervous about the impact from the previous Tropical Storm Lidia & the near miss by Hurricane Norma...not to mention a bunch of negative reviews online. Once we got there we couldn't have been more relieved & had an unbelievable time. The staff was very warm & welcoming! They always had a smile and an ¡hola! ready for us. Our room & all of the common areas were very clean & constantly being maintained. The buffet food was good, but not mind-blowing. The Krystal restaurant was excellent, as was the Indian restaurant. The Japanese restaurant was so-so but we're spoiled with great Japanese options at home. We kept asking each other "What's with the negative reviews?" aside from those unlucky folks caught in the tropical storm of course. We had a fantastic trip & would definitely recommend the Riu Palace. The Riu Santa Fe wasn't quite open yet when we left as they recover from the storm, so we didn't get to experience the sister property. Other than that, we ate, drank (A lot!) and generally indulged in paradise!!

Everything about this hotel was perfect!! The rooms were clean and the AC was cool. The food at the resort was the best food I've ever had at an all inclusive resort, including the buffet. I'm a vegetarian so I was a little concerned about my options but I was never disappointed and/or left feeling hungry. The hotel grounds are kept immaculate and the hotel staff are very friendly!

great time, hard working staff!! very clean!! beautiful !!!

Kids happy with the pools and always something the liked to eat.

It was like being pampered on a cruise ship! Clean, comfortable rooms, free mini bar, food available at all time and unlimited liquor! The only downside was the room faced the nightly entertainment stage and most nights the music was loud and went on until almost midnight - hard to sleep if you turn in early.

The staff greets you with liquor when you arrive to the lobby. Very friendly people. After checking out I still had 3 hours to wait for the shuttle to pick up, the hotel staff still allowed us to eat drink and use any hotel facility we wish.

Our stay started out nice but turned downhill because of the tropical storm. This hotel has major infrastructure problem. It shares electricity and water with Riu Santa Fe. It has no back up generator and once there is electrical outage water is gone too since water system has no back up either. This is not acceptable for a so called 5 start resort! 1 and 1/2 day rain caused 2 days of water outage! Most other hotels had electricity and water during the storm. Location of the hotel is not very good either, you need a taxi to get to Cabo San Lucas.

After one day we had to much of what was suppose to be brand liquor but with weird taste... Thinking good thoughts we assume it was re-labelled cheap liquor but it turns out it was not even human grade for drinking.... Was up all night with stomach pain that made it hard to eat or drink anything for the next 5-7 days.

This hotel was great and exceeded my expectations!! From the check in to the check the staff made everything easy and simple! The food was great, the bartenders were quick and great service, the rooms were well maintained.. overall we loved the experience here and definitely recommend this resort to friends!!
