The property is located in a very scenic area with beautiful views, and the balcony view was especially lovely. However, the rooms were poorly lit in the evenings, making it difficult to find things, and there were very limited electrical outlets for charging devices.
Several members of our group experienced ongoing hot water issues during the stay and were directed to use the spa facilities for showers, which was inconvenient. The staff overall did not come across as very friendly and rarely appeared welcoming or enthusiastic.
Although we booked an all-inclusive package, we were not informed that not all guests were on the same plan. This resulted in long queues where wristbands had to be scanned before ordering food, followed by additional waiting time for service.
We had an especially disappointing experience at the Zao Shen restaurant, where we waited over three hours. We also paid for the New Year’s Eve party, but the lobster rolls ran out within the first hour. Despite having four tables in our group, none of us were served lobster and were simply told it was no longer available. Similar issues occurred at other venues, where food items were either unavailable or finished very early.
Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations, and we would not recommend this property.
