the biggest complaint in the lack of help from the staff members. There were a lot of very hard working house keepers and very sweet waiters at the restraints. They also had some great shows. This hotel was filled with party after party its more of a young spring break crowed. The last day I was there I had severe food poisoning. As far as the staff and management goes, our friends room was flooding on a day where there was a hurricane and the staff would not move them to another room. They are very non accommodating. Also the gentleman that run the transportation take advantage of the tourists, by over charging them. We took a shuttl into town and were told it would be 17.00 and it turned out to be 45. It’s just a scam.

Don't expect to get an early check in here. You can drop your bags and grab a bite to eat though. This place has it all. Something for every age group. Loved our ocean front room and location to the beach, pool, and restaurant. Villa 7 is the best. I would come back here in a heart beat.

They were very attentive to guest comfort. Felt safe walking around at night.

I would recommend and stay here again! only 2 minor complaints. The food was not my favorite (but they are serving hundreds of people at a time so I understand) it was very bland and seemed to have the same thing in all buffets. Also not sure why hotdogs were in the eggs and on the pizza but it was a good laugh!! also, the bed was terrible in our room it was like we were sleeping on a rock I requested pillows and blankets and they didn't even come :( Other than that the staff was wonderful and the pools are amazing!! Would stay again!!

Great place to stay!! Great staff very friendly and make you feel welcomed.

Had the time of our lives! Maintenance of rooms could be improved a bit, but it was above our expectations overall. Staff was amazing (unfortunately had one negative experience, but that can happen). Not often that I feel the cost was low compared to the value, but this trip definitely fit the bill. I will do my best to take this trip again. Food was great, staff were even better. Try an excursion to the Sea of Cortez (with Expedia). I have been to many places and wasn't expecting much... they exceeded my expectations! It was a trip that I will always remember. Thank you, Riu Santa Fe.

The Riu was a great experience overall. We enjoyed how spacious it is ( several pools & aquatic park), the bar, amenities & restaurants. The cons: the snacks are lack luster & leave much to be desired. There are no elevators in most of the villas. We were on the 4th floor & had to go up & down several flights of stairs.

Booked a long weekend getaway at what we thought was a more upscale hotel, but we'd compare this to a Holiday Inn at the beach. We regret doing the all inclusive package. The beach is very difficult to walk because of the steep angles. Food at the hotel is terrible, room is the epitome of basic, beach is not swimmable. If you want to swim in the ocean you have to go all the way down towards the marina where you then run in to the rowdy, drunk crowd. Typically hotel rooms come with the small shampoo/conditioner and lotion bottles but this one did not provide us with anything. The spa credit they give you must be used towards one specific *expensive massage; we wanted to use it towards a lotion purchase and the staff wouldn't let us. The staff is wonderful and super friendly, open bar was great and the infinity pool overlooking the beach was gorgeous! It was easy to get a taxi ride in to town. Overall we had fun but won't be returning.

Clean environment great location good food excellent staff

I was surprised when arriving at the hotel that I was dropped off at the door and although many staff people were there, I was not greeted by anybody. After standing around for 5 or 10 awkward minutes I asked what I was supposed to do. I was sent to the front desk to check-in where I was given a map to go search for my room. I had to carry my luggage while walking around the unknown resort for my room. While searching for my room, I passed several staff who never offered assistance with my luggage or to help me find my way. I guess I could have asked but didn't feel as if I should have had to. The room was descent but I was surprised that there was no coffee maker in the room. The TV was very staticky and only had 1 or 2 channels that were in english. The resort itself was absolutely beautiful and we really loved the infinity pool. Waitstaff were awesome! Walking around the resort the staff members never seemed to offer a hello. If you say hello to them they are friendly but do not offer hello's or how are you's. This is an absolutely beautiful place but lacked in customer service. Would def go to Los Cabos again just not at the Riu.

I think the overall experience was ok. I enjoyed the availability of activities and themed nights. The food was mediocre. It's a glorified Golden Corral. I didn't care for the beverages to be honest. The hotel is far from doing anything in the city so you have to catch a cab or take the bus. I think next time I'll stay closer to the city and pay less for the resort experience and take in the tourism more.

My suite started leaking a lot of water on my first day and the water damaged my phone. No one in the hotel helped me with my phone situation, not a replacement for the time being or even offered me to use they’re phone Incase I needed to reach my family or business. I am still waiting for someone to reimburse my new Apple IPhone 7+

I stayed at a few resorts in Cabo and the RIU Santa Fe is by far the best!

The room was in very good condition, as well as the hotel appearance. The pools are amazing, and the staff were very courteous. The food was bland, and the drinks were not too good.

Everything is fine, only problematic for bathing in the sea-big and dangerous waves. Be careful.

This was my first time in Cabo and I loved my stay. This place had it all, places to shop and of course anything you could want to eat and drink. Loved it. And of there was three cute little kittens on the grounds that were very enjoyable, I love cats and that was the icing on the cake.

Only complaint was the musty smell as you walked into the room. The ceiling fan is a must since rooms are not very air conditioned. Went to downtown Cabo as a break in the week away from pool. Was not scared & had a fun day! Boat ride to Arch, lunch in the marina & Cabo Wabo for drinks and live music. The Michael Jackson show in theater at 9pm is a MUST. He was pretty darn believable! My favorite show of the week. I was dancing & singing in my seat.

Great value for the money! Beautiful property, friendly staff, lots of amenities, new additions to property are great! Have been going to Santa Fe for 8 years and experience gets better each trip.

A beautiful place to stay. I can’t wait to go back. My whole family enjoyed themselves. Thanks riu family from showing us a great time. We were there for the new opening of a new pool and splash world at Riu in Cabo. We had a blast

Had a great time, great location with great views of Lands End!
