From the staff to the resort it was an enjoyable time. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

The resort has a beautiful infinity pool. food was ok, our room has horrible, it had a horrible smell (humidity), it was infested with mosquitos and noise on the hallway echoed into the room.

Outdated rooms ,horrible bathrooms, flies in restaurants and I mean hundreds of flies walking all over food drunks falling all around you ,only one building with elevator ,the spa looks like it was from the fifties, the weight room worst ever ,the staff was good considering they have outdated equipment .the furniture was broken everywhere .you need a ladder to get into the tubs, I don't know what handicap people do to take a bath, really old the only good thing was the pools and the recreation staff and I wouldn't recommend this hotel for families with children and I old not give it four stars maybe one star and that is was cheap ,so if you like to drink all day and don't care about flies in your food go there!!!! and most all it should be given two stars and that's pushing it

Good experience. Look forward to going back next year.

Hotel was did have a beach where you can swim. Médano beach where you can swim was 25 min walk. Room was full of mosquitos and I got bitten everywhere. Staff was so friendly and made our stay enjoyable. Food was also decent. Overall 5/10

great overall experience. the pool is great overlooking the beach. The staff was very welcoming and warm all the time

4 the time at this resort, excellent staff that are willing to make your stay memorable. Fantastic pools and swim up bars. 1 month after the tropical storm/mud slide and the only thing that was noticeable was the bottom floor was empty, with no noticeable smells. 5 star experience.

Before I start, let me point out that THIS HOTEL WAS FLOODED DURING HURRICANE ODILE in 2014! The Hotel Management knew very well that this Hotel is in a low lying area and is at a risk of flooding!. THE BAD: On Thursday, August 31st, tropical storm Lidia was passing near Los Cabos. The hotel provided no warnings and took no precautions. That night, we (me, my wife and our 2 small daughters) were eating dinner in the main dining hall. As our daughters were eating ice cream, the staff suddenly came to us and said we need to rush to the second floor. That's when we realized that the hotel was flooding. By the time we got to the stairs, the water was already upto my knees. My daughter fell during the rush to the stairs in the flood water and lost her slippers. Within 10 minutes, the water level rose upto about 8-10 feet. There were 25 of us guests cramped up in one room all night with no power and no light. THE UGLY: Our room and our items were completely destroyed, covered by about 8 feet of water during the flood. To make matters worse, there was a 2 foot long live snake in my room. Hotel security and staff would not help me to retrieve my passport, wallets or items. I had to risk my life to retrieve what I could. They put us in RIU Palace which did not have power or water for 2 days. They told us to clean the mud off ourselves and out items in the swimming pool! No power or water for 3 days! We had to switch hotels on the last day to be able to survive and come back!

The motel was shutdown due to a tropical storm and I was not notified before we went to Cabo

The first 3 days were amazing despite the front desk staff being VERY rude. Key cards were deactivated after 24 hrs and we were given a lecture on how to be more responsible. All the other staff was amazing, very helpful. Very few stores to shop in. Then a tropical storm hit. We were given 0 instruction. Trapped in our rooms with no water, no candles, nothing. No direction from hotel staff. It ended up flooding 8-10 feet, luckily we were on the third floor. It was THE scariest thing I've been through personally. The next morning we woke to utter devistation and took it upon ourselves to go to the sister resort next door. Before the storm, my room was only serviced once despite hanging the green sign to be cleaned. When asked for service, was treated very rudely and the attendant showed up finally around 6pm. Overall very disappointed in this vacation

resort is great. got a room next to constuction site. loud on weekday mornings!

I wish they had more activities. Everything was in the pool and it got little boring and hot after the second day. The quality of the food was not good. we tried all the restaurants and we were very disappointed with 3 out of 5 restaurants. the best food was at the main Buffet close to the lobby.

I stayed at the Riu along with my best friend this month. Reading through the reviews before we got there, both of us were slightly worried but we shouldn't have been. Our room was beautiful and exactly as advertised. Everything was clean and the staff was always helpful and friendly. From our check-in, which had a small line but they insisted we go sit in the lounge chairs in the lobby while someone checked us in (so we didn't need to stand in line) to the flexibility on check out time. Every restaurant had lots of quality, vegetarian options. The pools and lounging areas were kept clean. They didn't hold back on the liquor. We had a great time!

FIRST OF ALL, THIS HOTEL IS ALL OUT DOOR. YOU NEED TO WALK TO GET FROM ONE POINT TO THE OTHER… UNDER THE SUN. I REQUESTED BEACH FRONT BALCONY. I HAD A POOL VIEW WITH A BIG PALM TREE COVERING MY VIEW. OVER ALL THE POOL AREA WAS GOOD. BUT THE LAY OUT OF THIS HOTEL WAS VERY BAD. I FELT LIKE I WAS A TENANT LIVING IN CONDOS. IVE BEEN TO CABO BEFORE.. AND THIS HOTEL RUINED MY EXPERIENCE.

Our overall stay was okay. The rooms from the advertised picture seemed very nice. However, after we checked in, the ac was not working and the bed was super hard. There were too many party goers at the resort. My wife and I are middle age, we were expecting a more peaceful, relaxed stay.

lots to do. lots of food choices and endless drinks. had a wonderful time. great weather. was a great vacay.

Food was ok, grounds are meticulous, rooms are very clean but could use an update with a softer bed and more pillows. Location is great with beautiful views. The people are outstanding.

The bedding and towels were rough and extremely old and the television was not working. When I talked to the manager he said he would fix it and send us a gift for our discomfort and anniversary, but never did. The towels were falling apart old. Other tha n that it was ok. I would go back but only as a last option.

Great location but you don't really need to leave the resort

we had a nice time and relaxing ... just the pool had a lot clorine ....ugly
