Too much noisy techno music. Needs more beachy vacation music like Caribbean

We had a good experience at the Riu but the breakfast food selection was a repeat day after day. The bath towels were very rough and old and the pillows were extremely lumpy.

Everything was great!! Good food great people.close to the beach

Ocean view wasn't really ocean view. Booked a king but was given a room with 2 twins. Was able to get room switched with minimal problem. VERY LOUD!

The hotel is very nice, and the food is fine. It is not delicious, but it was good. I liked breakfast better than dinner. Did not really have lunch at the hotel. The room we had had humidity and the bed was not that comfortable, but we still enjoyed it and had a great time.

Nice place! Buffet was very well stocked. Excursion staff was very helpful.

The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the fact that the restrooms were so far away from the pool. It was closer for me to go back to my room than to find a restroom to use. Overall my experience was great, I loved that it was family friendly and had activites for my toddler to enjoy (movie night).

Wait staff for the most part was friendly but had a couple instances where they were either inattentive or rude. We were lucky get a room away from the ‘party pool’ and it was for the most part quiet but I also spoke with other guests who said there was loud music all night on the other side of the hotel with a “spring break” atmosphere. The nightly entertainment was dull and they constantly promoted the pool parties that gave off a rave vibe. The food wasn’t excellent but quite good. If you don’t get to one of the restaraunts early, expect a long wait for dinner but they also had a buffet option with no wait. The hotel was very clean and they did a good job of keeping our room stocked with bottled water and other beverages. The view was gorgeous and the beach was clean. Just a short taxi ride to the downtown or marina was also very convenient. A good overall experience but if I were to go back to Cabo, I’d probably try another hotel to stay away from the binge drinking/spring break atmosphere at the Sante Fe.

Swimmable beach bice water and views. Friendly staff, great experience.

Great location on the beach. Staff was amazing! Food was your typical cafeteria food, nothing special. Breakfast was the best. Steak house food was terrible and the wait was ridiculous! Drinks were whatever, no top shelf liquor.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, hotel right next to the beach, wide selection of food and was delicious

The air conditioner didn't work 3 nights of the 7 night stay. I also paid for an additional fee for a Beach View and didn't get that. When we looked out the balcony we were looking at another building.. :-(

I paid extra for a ocean view $50 per night and I could Not see the ocean. Our air conditioning did not work for 3 days.

Very disappointed with my experience at the Riu Santa Fe. Upon checking in, we asked to be far away from the pool parties and noise. Our first night there we find out that they placed us in the middle of the path from the bars to the rest of the hotel. We traveled all day to get there and were kept awake the ENTIRE night by the partiers. I called the front desk numerous times and they never picked up. Finally, I got ahold of someone who said they would send security because of all the rowdiness and for the fact that there were opened, half drunk bottles of what I’m assuming was water, in our minibar. Guess what - security never came! I complained to the “manager” the next morning who told me that they have too many hotel guests to worry about one family’s safety. I kid you not!! Red flag!!! They did end up switching our room to the most distant spot with the worst views but hey, it was quiet. The food here was awful! Everything tasted the same just different textures, no matter where you ate. I also saw numerous large dead cockroaches. Oh, and I got totally sick the next day after their “Thanksgiving” meal and lost out in an entire day of my vacation and missed my family photo shoot. Very sad about that - the photographer had amazing photos. The bed was terribly hard - it literally hurt my back. Was there anything good? The landscaping was nice, my kids liked the water slides (which is why we booked) but definitely, I repeat, definitely, NOT a family hotel.

Good clean rooms. Food was not that great, but acceptable.

The food is delicious. Hotel nice but the building we stay in was outdated, needs remodeling. Gym has everything what you need.
