The air conditioner didn't work 3 nights of the 7 night stay. I also paid for an additional fee for a Beach View and didn't get that. When we looked out the balcony we were looking at another building.. :-(

I paid extra for a ocean view $50 per night and I could Not see the ocean. Our air conditioning did not work for 3 days.

Very disappointed with my experience at the Riu Santa Fe. Upon checking in, we asked to be far away from the pool parties and noise. Our first night there we find out that they placed us in the middle of the path from the bars to the rest of the hotel. We traveled all day to get there and were kept awake the ENTIRE night by the partiers. I called the front desk numerous times and they never picked up. Finally, I got ahold of someone who said they would send security because of all the rowdiness and for the fact that there were opened, half drunk bottles of what I’m assuming was water, in our minibar. Guess what - security never came! I complained to the “manager” the next morning who told me that they have too many hotel guests to worry about one family’s safety. I kid you not!! Red flag!!! They did end up switching our room to the most distant spot with the worst views but hey, it was quiet. The food here was awful! Everything tasted the same just different textures, no matter where you ate. I also saw numerous large dead cockroaches. Oh, and I got totally sick the next day after their “Thanksgiving” meal and lost out in an entire day of my vacation and missed my family photo shoot. Very sad about that - the photographer had amazing photos. The bed was terribly hard - it literally hurt my back. Was there anything good? The landscaping was nice, my kids liked the water slides (which is why we booked) but definitely, I repeat, definitely, NOT a family hotel.

Good clean rooms. Food was not that great, but acceptable.

The food is delicious. Hotel nice but the building we stay in was outdated, needs remodeling. Gym has everything what you need.

The resort was absolutely beautiful. Cleanliness was top notch staff was top notch. I would’ve liked a little bit Better food and a more comfortable bed.The resort was absolutely beautiful. Cleanliness was top-notch staff was top notch.

We’ve been to this resort many times as it’s one of our favorites. They’ve added new things as well...the pool party area and water slides for all ages. Overall it’s a great resort and has something for everyone!

I suppose part of our disappointment is that we never had been in an ALL-INCLUSIVE place before. There was no coffee machine in the bedroom and no Room Service available. The wifi was almost useless and difficult to connect to. We called the front desk several times and there was no answer or we had to wait for a long time. Some of the staff seemed less than willing to help, it´s sort of obvious that they are not that happy with their jobs. At one of the bars, we witnessed the bartender barely rinsing the cups she used to serve us inside a bucket of questionable water, quite discussing. One of us got really sick from the food and we had to call a doctor who charged a whopping $150 for a visit that a local doctor would have charged $10 for. One of the days when we got back to our room it was wide opened. Fortunately, nothing was stolen but it was sketchy. The beer they serve is only XX Laguer, cheap stuff. I would never go back.

We were greeted with smiles and margaritas, the room was super nice, bed was comfy, the resort was very well kept up, the food was incredible, the drinks were great and the bartenders were awesome. 5 star for sure! Definitely get your money's worth here!!

Close to the beach, good pool parties. Terrible food and loud construction all around us. The rooms smelled like mold.

Great location, lots of restaurant and pool options, amazing staff. Rooms were clean. Bed was hard, better once a topper was requested. Food was okay, expected more authentic and spicy Mexican options. Would be nice to have more beer options. RiuFun and FiuFit team are fantastic. Pool party was a fun time. Staff focused on cleanliness of hotel and overall resort.

Bathroom needs fan. I and my wife got diarrhea after a dinner.

rain leaking into rooms and bathrion & eating facilities from roof no hall lights on at night for days
