A beautiful place to stay. I can’t wait to go back. My whole family enjoyed themselves. Thanks riu family from showing us a great time. We were there for the new opening of a new pool and splash world at Riu in Cabo. We had a blast

Had a great time, great location with great views of Lands End!

The first few days were comfortable until new occupants of rooms close by came. They were loud and wouldn't have minded so much if their noise level did not echoed soo much! It is like the entire floor is a loud speaker. I woke up at 3 am with their loud voices, feet stomping and door slamming. I would not recommend this hotel to friends who value their sleep. If you're here to party and pass out that you don't hear anything then this is the place for you. I did enjoy the amenities and hotel staff were pleasant and helpful.

Great place to have all the basics for a vacation. Food/drink were okay. Room was okay. Great pools and location! Left the resort easily and went to the beach/marina each day. For the price, it suited all needs

Well located and friendly staff, food was average, wait staff was accommodating, no hot water for one night, Can NOT swim in the beach water was very choppy

The amenities including pool, beach, and bars are phenomenal but the food is mediocre the Asian restaurant was the only really decent normal tasting food everything else it’s kind of bland. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and nice the rooms are OK a little musty but we were not in the room very much at all. The best thing about this hotel was the price!

We were situated in bldg 3 not too far from the plaza and across the "quiet pool". But the happy place would be in bldg 7 with ocean view and it is a long walk from bldg 3. Service staff unattentive specially in the Toreto rest. We waited 1 hr to be served our steak dinner. For breakfast we were requesting for coffee cups the waiter literally ignored us. Cocktails are also not served at the restaurants. Construction workers not conscious about the hours would hear them at 5:30 am rolling their carts.

Overall LOVED IT. When you read negative reviews, know those are the people who you just can NOT please. No matter what. Resort is in the perfect location. STUNNING views. Walked to downtown on the beach in about 30 min. Waves & undertoe are VERY strong. But some days when it’s calmer, you can swim in it. Just at your own risk. There was a fun mix of all kinds of people and it balances well. If you want a party go to the small pool on the left with the swim up bar. Warning: the water in that specific pool is nasty. Would not reccomend going under water in there as we had people tell us stories about getting pink eye! Disclaimer: all the other pools are exceptionally clean and very nice. The resort is huge. Kind of like a small town. So prepare to walk. I HAVE TWO COMPLAINTS: 1. The beds are definitely tough. Not the most comfortable by any means. So those reviews are in fact, fact. 2. The “non reservation, reservation system” upon check in, you will be told you do not need to make a reservation for and of the specialty restaurants. That is not true. If you are not in line at 6pm waiting to make a reservation then don’t expect to eat there. We learned the hard way showing up two nights in a row expecting to eat and being told NO. they refuse to use the term reservation. Well friends, it is in fact a reservation and that was by far the most inconvenient part of this entire trip. Rant over. hardworking & great employees everywhere. the construction is minor & not bothersome. :)

Overall we had a great time. The bed was a touch hard. The food in general was pretty great. The pools were generally clean and the staff was very fun and attentive at the drink pool.

5 days great time, perfect weather. Food and drinks were great, planning to come back next year to this hotel. Rate price/value is perfect! A lot of diverse activities everyday. we saw a lot of weddings, popular place for this the hotel view is the best in town

Having been to the Riu Santa Fe on 5 previous occasions, we were looking forward to a week of total relaxation and fun. We were not disappointed! The Riu continues to be our #1 vacation destination! PS - Always choose the ocean view room - incredible.

It would have been perfect if not for the construction noise going on on next building. Rooms are not sound proof. Can hear people talking in the hallway and the sound of the hotel maintenance carts rolling at night!

Large resort with 5 restaurants. The food and drinks are delicious. Great for a family trip or trip with friends!

Would not stay there again. Had to walk along ways to get anyware. Terrible view from patio construction. Had to change rooms because of partying. Food was ok.

The view from the infinity pools was amazing. Staff was very friendly and proved excellent service. Thought the food was actually better than a lot of resorts I’ve stayed at. The specialty restaurants weren’t that great. Stayed at buffet most nights. Only downfall for us was the spring breakers coming in. There was construction on site but not too bothersome for us.

Nice large hotel with beautiful landscaping, multiple pools, bars, and restaurants. Food is good with lots of selection. Multiple bars including swim up bars in the pools. The bartenders are slightly slow and they don't have poolside wait staff like at other hotels we have stayed at. Nightly entertainment was good. We got a small taste of Spring Break which was not enjoyable but the hotel staff were still happy, friendly, and did their best to keep the place tidy and relaxing. Room was nice and very clean. About a mile walk down the beach to town. Overall happy with our stay, except for the rude/disgusting spring breakers (and I'm only 30 😣)

The hotel is gorgeous and the staff is excellent. During the day make sure to take your drink to the edge of the infinity pool and enjoy the beautiful view. In the evening the bar in the courtyard closest to the sports bar is a great place to spend the evening. You can see everything that's happening and Antonio, Jose, and Caeser will make sure your taken care of. Highly recommend vacation.

Only disappointment was the beach isn’t very swimable and difficult to walk. Views are excellent. Staff and service A+

Very clean facilities. Friendly staff. Only complaint- our room faced new hotel construction with very many workers that worked from 7 am to 11 pm daily, non stop. Hammering and heavy equipment non stop.

The hotel in itself was excellent. Clean, great amenities, great staff, excellent service and on the beach. Getting to downtown Cabo San Lucas and the marina was very easy and affordable if taking the bus. The only thing was there is a lot of construction around the hotel. Noisy and very dusty at times. Some buildings also do not have elevators so stairs are a must. But for the price and all the excellent amenities, the hotel is a great choice.
