The resort was absolutely perfect for us with the all-inclusive. Definitely recommend for couples who want to relax and party at the same time. Things to know before going, the rooms do not have a microwave so any leftover food must be warmed up in the sports bar. Also, keep track of when restaurants & bars open and close. There were times where we couldnt get food by a pool and had to walk to the courtyard to get some. I highly recommend not booking activities the day you check in so you can hang out and the resort and enjoy its amentities. Also for the waterpark slides, no jewelry is allowed so try not to wear any permanent jewelery as they will not let you on. And lastly, download the riu app and make an account before checking in. This will get you rewards once you check in and you will be able to see the daily schedule of activities and entertainment everyday.

None of the bars are staffed for the volume of people they have to take care of. The food was OK restaurants that you expected to be more off. The menu are also buffets so what’s the point of that even though other resorts that belong to the same ownership or next to each other, you’re not able to use any of the other facilities if you stay at the Santa Fe.

Riu Santa Fe is a HUGE property. There multiple pools/resturants/activities that can keep you busy. El Centro Cabo San Lucas is a quick ride away if you want to go into town. Riu is a great resort chain. We have stayed at a few and are never disappointed! The staff are super welcoming and want you to have the best vacation. It's very family friendly but they also do a great job catering to the adult vacationers. Highly recommend

Staff was so nice. Food was excellent and we tried every restaurant. Drinks and party’s were amazing. 100% would recommend to anyone who likes to have a good time.

When we arrived, we were greeted by staff, We went to the desk to check in and was told we would have to wait a few hours before we could get into our room, unless we wanted to upgrade and pay extra, the guy at the front desk said he would waive the fee of the upgrade if we was good to him, in other words if we tipped him really well he could get us in a room right then. So, we paid him a $100 and got into our room, the only downfall was we asked to not be around any kids, our room was directly over the kiddy pool. The room was clean, we had no issues with the kids at all, Our Building was quite a walk away from all the entertainment, but we managed. When we went to check out we discovered that we only had one towel key on us and we were charged $9 for the other key that was left in our room. The lady that checked us out was terribly rude and didn't care that we had left our key in the room, we didn't have it at check out so we were being charged. Also, the ladies at the little shop on site was very rude they were like put out every time we went into the store to buy something. They didn't understand English and we felt they were annoyed with us being there, we would ask a question, and they would all look at each other and then kind of brush us off like we didn't matter. Very nice place to stay just most of the workers were rude.

This is not a family friendly environment at all, you cant even sleep at night because theres a bunch of drunk teenagers all around screaming and making so much noise if you have kids avoid this place, food is pretty bad i had to eat chips and guacamole for 3 days because the food is awful not even talk about the drink they are the worse you cant even find a good lemonade

Because of national incident and cartels causing unsafe conditions and US governments warning about traveling to this area we couldn't go because of concerns for our safety and our lives. Hotel and Expidia refused to give us any refund. Hotel and Expidia are totally unreasonable and I will never book another stay at that hotel, ever. We lost all the money and a refund would be appreciated.
