This is a 3 start resort at best and very fair for the price. If you are looking for a new or trendy place to stay, this is not it. The location is great if you want to be on the beach in SJDC. The staff was very welcoming and the room was clean. It is just an older property and in need of updating.

Cafeteria had birds flying around buffet, staff was very unfriendly. During our last day a person had an accident near the adult pool, he was badly injured and hotel doctor took 20 minutes to get to him. Construction around pool very unsafe. Inside pool one of the lamps was broken, my husband complained it took more than 1 hour for someone to come fix it. Room was clean. Nice beach view.

Only thing we didn't like was the lack of entertainment at night, show at 8pm too early, couldn't go to any of them. Food is good but not much variety in comparison to other All Inclusive we've been to.

Great staff, everyone was very friendly, beautiful view. There wasn’t enough restaurants, I expected more seafood. We couldn’t really enjoy the pools in the evening because they closed early. After running around all day, we expected to be able to enjoy the pools.

The pool server, Eduardo, was very friendly and attentive. Transportation from the airport was also very convenient. Although the resort had multiple restaurants, they never had availability for dinner reservations. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to eat at any of them, which was disappointing because, despite being an all-inclusive resort, it didn’t quite feel like one.

Didn’t like the rooms at all, very dirty and the bathroom smelled really bad. Room cleaning was very slow and we had to call 4 time in order to get our room cleaned or to even get clean towels. Kids pool was filthy dirty and disgusting. Staff in some areas were completely clueless and not helpful at all. Pool water was heated and it was too hot and not pleasant. Elevator doors close too quickly and injured my waited arm and I saw another man also get hurt. Overall, 1 star rating and I’d not go back to this property and I would not refer it to others.

The food in the main buffet area was 10/10. The lunch in the hut by the pool was mediocre. The beds were hard, and the bath towels were hard. We had excellent service each morning from a server named Jacob. He was quick and efficient when it came to refills on drinks, picking up dirty plates, and always greeted us with a welcome smile. My kids loved waking up early to see Jacob in the mornings. The cleaning ladies who cleaned our room were 5/5. They ensured that we had clean towels each day, took out the trash daily, remade the beds, and always refreshed our bathroom. They made our stay enjoyable. When we ordered room service, they brought hot and fresh food, but the food was alright. French fries could be better as they were hard. My children enjoyed eating their hamburgers, and their nachos were great. The property was clean, but the property can use some updates to its pools and maintenance of the building. Some part of the resort looked old and rundown. Their evening shows were 5/5, and it was nice to have a variety each night.
