Hotel is not safe it is really hitting. Received few calls from the front desk threatening my family. Hotel is not save do not add this hotel in your packages.

The hotel staff was attentive , friendly and willing to give recommendations on where and what to do in the area.

We are a family of 5! And this place has it all, great staff and warming welcome

Overall really liked this place. The people were friendly, and didn't push the timeshare element too hard. Location is fantastic, you're only 10 minutes from CSL and the Walmart is very close for shopping. You're right near a fantastic nearly-private beach as well, which is only a five minute walk. The pools were awesome, and the rooms fantastic. Really only good things to say.

So we just stayed at this hotel a few days ago and overall it was nice. Mind you, we had a cheaper lower grade room than the deluxe apt style ones we'd when walking through. The regular pricing is quite exorbatantly high but on orbitz, it was affordable. Pros: clean, well apointed rooms, nice pools, private beach, overlooking ocean. Cons: hard to find due to poor signage at night if driving, road there looks scary, lined with chainlinked fence, finding the word Welk, at all which is what it's called when buying room was hard to find. Fold out bed was terribly uncomfortable, could feel every spring. Beach is a bit rocky but not bad. pretty centrally located close to Walmart and Costco! Overall, good stay, just needs a little tweaking. We'd probably stay again

This hotel is amazing. My husband and I wished we had scheduled more time here - and we've got our fingers crossed to return again! It's a small enough resort that we got to know some of the staff and other patrons. It felt very comfortable and inviting wherever we went. We dined on-site almost every day of our visit, as well - a good variety of food. But the hotel is also close enough to downtown Cabo that you can still have adventures in the marina area - or rent a car and go up to San Jose.

This was a stay by my wife and myself. The resort itself is up to date and well maintained. The staff is excellent, from the front desk to housekeeeping. Some reviews did not like that housekeeping only cleans once a week, but for our needs this was what we wanted, the cleaning staff asked after a few days if we wanted anything, (towels, soap, etc), so they are there if you want them to be more attentive. We were very impressed with the restaurant staff, the chef's Omar and Rudolpho and Carlos the Food and Beverage Manager was constantly not only watching how things were going around the bars and restaurant, but stocking supplies and waiting on people as needed. The bartenders Martin and Fermin are great allso easy and interesting to talk to as well. I could not possibly name all the servers, but they were all very good. We seemed to sit where Pavel and Galo were working usually. The only reason to not be pleased at this resort would be location, as you have to take a taxi everywhere and also there are many steps to climb to go around the resort, pools are on different levels and the beach is quite a few steps down. We did not mind the steps because we like to walk but there really wasn't much chance to walk where negotiating the traffic wasn't involved.

The views are beautiful and you can snorkel at the beach by the hotel. The food is not as good as it used to be, but the service is excellent. The rooms are perfect, we had a family of 5 (kids age 7, 5, 1) in the premier villa and it was very spacious. I wouldn't recommend the sofa sleeper for adults, but for the kids it was great and they provided a crib for the baby. We had booked the garden view and still had a great view of the ocean (room 2203a). We asked to upgrade to the ocean view when we checked in but they said there were none available. This was our second time at the property and it is still in as good of condition as 3 years ago. They take very good care of the property. Taxis are expensive but if you can do the walk up the hill and back taking the bus is a great way to get around.

Love Cabo. Very nice Hotel. Housekeeping needs to improve.

The staff was amazing and the quality of the facility was top notch. Had a great time!

Outstanding service from great and helpful staff! Felt like everyone was empowered to make decisions to make our stay a comfortable and happy one.

A very nice hotel with beach access and a great view to EL Arco. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are spacious with a living area, sleeping area and a kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare your own meals. The only thing that didn't impress me at all was the restaurant, the food was decent but the variety of the buffet was not what a 4 star resort should offer.

Very relaxing, and much smaller resort. Went to Medano beach, several other resorts were on that beach, and you could tell how much more crowded they were compared to Sierna Del Mar resort.

We had a great time staying at Welk Sirena Del Mar. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The facilities were solid. Wished there was more than one restaurant at the resort (for variety) and would have liked to have had a hotel-provided transportation option to/from Cabo San Lucas, even for a small fee, perhaps runing once every several hours. Relying on public transportation or expensive taxis wasn't the most convenient or economical.

The staff was extremely friendly and the resort was very nice.

Most of the previous reviews have already covered most things but here is my 2 cents.. This is a smaller resort, so it only has 1 hotel restaurant. The rooms are all excellent and a great size. We had a bachelorette party of 5 and fit very comfortably! Our balcony view was amazing- we could see the pool and the ocean/cliff. The staff is helpful and friendly. The only thing I wish this hotel had more of is more restaurant options- as we had late nights on the weekend and the restaurant stops serving breakfast around 10 for the next morning. Cab ride into town is about $20, we sometimes could bargain to $15-16 depending on what time of day and what day it was. We also took the bus into town our last day and wish we had done this more often..its only $1 and you catch it right outside the hotel (there is like a 5 min walk to leave the property) but it will drop you right into the heart of town (you can ask concierge about where to take it/get dropped off). The pool's view is to die for. There are no words to describe just how beautiful it is. Each balcony has a hammock also, perfect to relax in while you feel the ocean breeze! Google maps indicated this hotel is about 25 minutes from the airport, when it really took us 35-40 minutes depending on traffic.

AMAZING hotel! Loved the staff, the food, the pool, the view, the location, the room, the massage, the drinks, the shower even! Highly recommend it. The property is an $18 ride to downtown, but after we got to the hotel we didn't really even want to leave! Not a huge party there, so if that's what you're looking for I would stay elsewhere. It is really fun though and they had fun pool parties and activities while we were there. We definitely will be back!

We really enjoyed our time here. The environment and feel is very laid back and secluded, while still being close to local destinations. The beach wasn't as nice as we were expecting, but overall we enjoyed our stay

- it is a timeshare and we listened to the pitch. not a high pressure pitch either. - there is not daily housekeeping included but $12/day can get that done. - wonderful room with amazing view of the water hitting beach and cliffs. - incredible grounds. very personal service. - you will be hard pressed to get a better resort in cabo for the money. - the bigger room, about 600sq ft is tremendous.

Location was unbelievable--right on the water with perfect views! Staff was so very friendly. Room was very clean & functioned well enough that we cooked in it often. Restaurant was great food but very slow & EXPENSIVE! Taco Tuesdays at the pool & daily happy hour were a must! Several families there--great for that type. This resort is out of the hubbub of Cabo (approx 5 miles) & smaller than most...if that sounds appealing to you then this is your slice of heaven. Walmart & Costco nearby as well as other restaurants with positive reviews. We will definitely be back!

We appreciate your taking the time to post a review which gives us the opportunity to thank you for staying with us. Daily housekeeping service is available for a surcharge and arrangements can be made at check-in. I apologize our front office team did not mention and ask if you would like this service. By allowing guests to choose whether they would like daily cleans or forgo, allows us to keep our pricing competitive. We would very much like the opportunity to welcome you back to the resort but understand if you choose not to. Thank you again for your feedback as it does not go unnoticed.
