The hotel was very inviting and clean looking. We had someone approach us about attending a time share presentation and was very welcoming and nice until they found out we weren't interested in attending and then it was a different attitude. The rooms were clean and comfortable, beds were nice. The pools were way too warm, one of my biggest complaints. When the temperatures are so hot out you want to go into a pool that is refreshing and cool. The water temperature was like getting into warm bath water, not refreshing at all! It was unfortunate because you can't swim in the ocean water and too cool down. Definitely need to work on keeping the pool cooler. The food quality was good for the most part. I have to say the prices were a bit steep for a hamburger was $17 dollars. We went into town to get food because not very many options at the hotel and the prices were expensive. Overall the experience was pretty good.

This was our second stay at Cabo Azul but first time for our little girl! We had an amazing time together at the pools, the beach, fiesta night, and the Kids area!! My little one loved the movie night on the beach and had the best time making memories together! The rooms are just as pictured. Gorgeous and spacious for any family size! Can't wait to return!

Non-English speaking staff made it hard to communicate needs. Needs to be an all inclusive property. Food/drinks too expensive

Great for families and couples who just want to relax by the pool and enjoy delicious poolside food and drinks. Not the Spring break scene which is why it is so great. The staff is so hospitable and friendly. The pools are pristine and rooms are very clean and lovely. Cannot swim in ocean here as the current is too strong. They have fun activities for kids and adults including movies on the beach at night. This place is a gem.

Could not ask for a better resort.Very friendly staff, beautiful decor and attention to detail in impeccable

Wonderful experience... amazing staff so helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Great Spa facility. Nice views. Good location. Family friendly. Very secured. Delicious food.

The hotel grounds are fabulous. We were busy doing outdoor activities which was fun but we would've love to spend more time at the resort. 6 nights were not enough to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this charming place. Staff is beyond excellent! We'll definitely be back!!!

Awesome place! We had to wait a little while to get our room but we just we to the bar and got some drinks! Staff is very helpful and friendly. I will be going here again soon. Great place for the family, a couple, and even a group of friends. I went with a group of friends. Rooms are extremely nice and the price wasn't bad at all.

Beach front property although ocean to dangerous to boggy board. Couple miles down beach is a surf shop where you can have lesson. Nice grocery store 1 mile from resort. Our family has frequented Cancun for many years and we enjoyed this resort and destination as much if not more. San Jose del Cabo (where this resort is located) only 25 minutes from airport and about the same if you want to take a bus to Cabo San Lucas. Family of 5 bus ride only $12 USD. Destination offered beautiful mountainous scenery pouring into the the Sea of Cortez and Pacific Ocean. Cabo Azul, by far the nicest resort we have ever stayed at. Even though it is a time share resort we were never approached or pressured to go to a presentation. Staff was very accommodating and pleasant. Always family and children activities planned for each day of week. Food was really good and there is a Starbucks on site. We can't wait to go back.

We will definitely come back to Cabo Azul!! We celebrated our 25th anniversary and the staff made our day extra special. Our room was decorated for our special day with beautiful arrangement of roses and chocolate dipped strawberries. Cabo Azul was amazing!!

If you don't want to be in the touristy areas of Cabo this is the perfect location! Easy walk to town for shopping and wonderful restaurants directly across from hotel. We had a very peaceful and relaxing vacation.

Great hotel, fairly priced with lots to do nearby. Will definitely consider coming back!

This is a large property with 3 large pools, two smaller pools more inside the hotel and a (new since the hurricane 2 yrs ago) kids pools. it is completely enclosed (safe), has a waterside, a very shallow play area, and a deeper play area. It is surrounded by rooms on 3 sides so the day it was windy, it was not too windy in there. We spent most of our time in the pools. went to the beach one morning but black flags were up so no getting in the water. We stayed in san jose thinking we could get in the water there, but no. there is a public beach nearby that is safer though. food was expensive (on property), as with any resort you stay in but going just off property or buying groceries makes some meals cheaper. we had a very relaxing time!!

With the exception of Orbitz's booking engine NOT interfacing with Diamond Resorts, this was a great experience. But the day before I traveled, I called up to make airport transfer reservations. They did not have my reservation, even though it was paid in full through Orbitz, and non-refundable. It took me a full two hours of talking, dialing, holding, calling Diamond back, calling Orbitz back, etc, etc. Horrible. Then, when we got there, Diamond tried to put us in a room directly above the pump room (room 7205 - do NOT accept this room if they try to give it to you.) We didn't even unpack. As soon as we opened the door to the patio and were greeted with a LOUD pumping station for the kiddie pool, we called and asked to be moved. Were told that we would have to check out the next day at 10am, then re-check in to a new room at 4:00pm. We said ... um... NO that's not going to happen. Finally they "found" us a great room. The rest of the 10 days were beyond compare as far as wonderful staff, exceptionally well-manicured and clean hotel grounds, very comfortable bed, well-appointed kitchen. We loved walking to San Jose del Cabo and taxiing back a couple of times. We also walked to the supermarket "La Comer" and taxiing back with groceries. Don't think you can barter with the cabbies - it's a zone fare and both trips will be $7.00. We booked our own excursion to go fishing via another website's recommendations, and did not use the concierge.

Girls trip for 6 nights. Very comfortable and relaxing trip. Hotel is exceptional- very safe and friendly staff. Easy walk to many restaurants and shopping. Five stars!

Modern, clean, everything worked, sooo comfortable. Much better than the pictures.

We went for a kid free anniversary weekend. The rooms were amazing, service was out of this world, food and drinks were great and location was excellent. this hotel was great for our anniversary getaway but we'd definitely bring our kids next time.

It was my first time in Los Cabos and I will be returning soon. I had a great time there and would recommend it to anyone! I stayed in the most beautiful hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cabo Azul. As soon as we pulled up, we couldn't believe how beautiful this place actually is. We were ready for a fabulous time and we were not let down whatsoever. The people, the grounds, pool, food and rooms are all superb. We will for sure be back

Every aspect of this resort was first class and provided a tremendous value. Especially at the current prices. The resort and the service was great. They paid attention to every detail to make sure that we were comfortable. Staff that provided us excellent service included: Angel, pool attendant - great job and he always made sure we were comfortable. Raul, Cicilio and Francisco at the pool bar provided prompt service and strong drinks when asked. Also, Leo who provided pool drink/food service was always there when needed. All memorable people due to their attention to detail. I recommend the hotel.
