Grounds are well maintained. Was there for 4 nights, swim up pool bar run out of mezcal on our first day and never restocked it for the rest of our trip,bartenders suggested we go complain to the front desk because the hotel refuses to restock the bars.

Hemos venido a este hotel desde hace años cuando era Barcelo, esta es la segunda ocasion que asistimos como Gran Solaris (la primera fue en el mes del cambio) y realmente se nota una gran diferencia negativa en el mantenimiento que le dan ultimamente. De la ultima vez que nos quedamos a esta, esta muy deteriorado en muchas areas y en otras se nota qje se ha wuerido ahorrar unos cuantos pesos a costa de los clientes. Nuestro aire acondicionado no funcionaba, el refrigerador lo cambiaron por q no funcionaba, el elevador (solo funcionaba uno) estaba a punto de tronar, muy descuidado y hasta miedo de subir y bajar en el. En el bar se les acababa el agua natural para beber apenas al medio dia y los refrescos los servian de botella lo q generaba que ni gas tuvieran muchas veces. Falta de personal por todos lados. En general Barcelo estaba bien por el precio, en esta ocasion me parecio que estuvo demasiado caro para lo q se paga.

We had a good 5 day vacation here at GR Solaris Lighthouse it was relaxing. I’d just say that it says there are 6 restaurants on property, only members that pay for time shares or buy the packages that the sales team sells are able to use 2 so in total we could use the breakfast buffet, lunch buffet, and two other restaurants (Mexican and Italian). We have been to all inclusive resorts before, and the only food that seemed like it had good flavor was the breakfast all the other food was 6/10. We know that the hotel was just purchased by the brand so they are still maybe going through some quirks but overall it was an okay stay. The rooms were perfect and clean the lobby was perfect and clean as well. The gym was clean and the restaurants were clean, just the food wasn’t what we were expecting for a four star resort.

Beautiful property and staff was super!!! Especially Luis around the pool. He was fantastic! The air conditioning in the room could have been colder, only one elevator worked, and my husband got stuck on it once. Refrigerator in room quit working. Food was mediocre, a bit on the bland side the pools were fabulous and the Resort was very quiet and safe.

This property was recently renovated and wow, they did an awesome job! The resort is amazing and clean, the food was excellent, the rooms were comfortable. The thing that stood out to me about this resort compared to others is the customer service and staff; they were the most attentive and friendly of all the resorts I have stayed at in Cabo. This is not a party property; this is the perfect place for a family trip. Also: don't miss the lighthouse bar in the evening- great views, drinks, and music!

The hotel is clean and well maintained. The gem of this resort is the staff members. Luis, Angel,Dani, Gisele, Martha, Orlando, Bruno to name a few made sure that our stay was absolutely enjoyable. Always checking up on your needs without the need to summon them. Food can improve more but overall descent. I highly recommend this place.

The only person that was Great was Dani. The pool area was awesome. The property needs an upgrade bad. The AC was broken and very hot in the rooms. The all inclusive drinks was poor liquor and watered down. The food was just ok. I will not stay here again. Had o e of the staff laugh at me when I asked for a bucket of ice for my beer that I purchased outside of the hotel because the beer they gave was nasty. All and all I give it a 2 1/2 star.

The property was really beautiful and had a really nice sky bar to get drinks at in the evening. Also, I would really recommend making some fresh chilaquiles for breakfast and taking advantage of all of the toppings that they have available.

It was a good place for the price. The breakfas and lunch buffet were excellent, the snack bar I was not a fan off. The quality of the alcohol was not the best, unless ofcourse you ordered beer. What saved the property was the staff. Dani and Erika at the breakfast and lunch buffet are excellent at their job an I would come back just so I could hang with them. At the pool bar Zarel was definitely the life of the party and so attentive and personable. We only dined at the sushi restaurant and it was great and the italian restaurant and it was good but there can be some improvements. Overall it was good experience. Definitely need to mention there's no acces to the water on this hotel. You can not get in the water unless you are a great surfer. They don't even have chairs or umbrellas on the beach.
