Very nice place with on site pool and activities minutes from the beach, marina and activities. Quiet, clean and comfy condos with excellent maid and food service and. beautiful view including sun rise and set as it is on a hill. Storm had taken out the golf course and other parts but they were working on it every day. Try the Margaritas! You will need a taxi shuttle, or a car.
Hubby and I stayed at Los Cabo Golf Resort Dec 10-17, 2017. While the hotel is still rebuilding its roads and golf course after getting hit so hard by Tropical Storm Lidia in Sept 2017, there was no impact on our vacation whatsoever. The internet in the lobby was fast if you need it. The resort was very peaceful and perfect for our Anniversary stay. We had the Luxury suite C8 and it was huge and amazing. We cooked in our room daily. Housekeeping was INREDIBLE and clean our room everyday. Ground keepers worked very hard and did an amazing job. Geo from the Concierge was very helpful. Our late check out was no problem and we spent the rest of our day in the pool. Hotel service was very friendly. This resort was exactly what we needed and we loved it. Taxis are always available and we simply walked to Walmart for our groceries and carried them home in our backpacks. Do not underestimate this hotel. Enjoy!
This property is still undergoing renovations, especially on the entry road. And the only Internet available is in the very small hotel lobby. Also, no telephone service in the rooms. However, the rooms are quite nice and large, with excellent kitchens in the two-bedroom ones, and very clean. The concierge, Giorgana (sp.?), is top-notch. She knows just the right tours and will fix any problems. Also, one of the waiters, Felix, is especially nice. However, the hotel lacks activities and was barely populated when we were there. It's far from the beach, too.
We have been coming to Cabo for years. Got a great deal through Interval to stay at Los Cabos Golf Resort and couldn’t have had a better week. The entire staff here is amazing from Geo, Edgar, and Aaron in the lobby to the best waiter Felix and the best bartender Jose! Came down with another couple so had a 2 bedroom. There was a small issue and we asked to change rooms the following day. They went above and beyond to find us the perfect room and even moved all of our luggage was including groceries! They were hit hard by the storm so only 11 holes open at this time. The road in is dirt, however, they are working hard at restoration. Our room was beautiful, the grounds and pool are beautiful. The best part...Very quiet! We went into town 3 times and never had to wait for a cab. We do like staying closer to the Ocean, however, if the opportunity came about we would definitely stay here again.
This resort is for golfers, however 9 holes were totally washed away in a storm. However, since I don’t golf, the facility is gorgeous. Pretty pool, pool bar, well decorated rooms, excellent maid service, taxi any time from the lobby, very helpful staff. We cooked a lot in our room. The only two complaints is that the beds are hard and there wasn’t enough seating in the living room.
I knew it...I just called to book our reservations and was told that there are delays in completing The Residences. I asked what that meant and the lady said we would have to email Mr. Lopez. I never felt good about this whole transaction. Our sales guy totally pulled one over on us, and when we tried to terminate he laughed and said the developer would never give us our money back. He said we would have to fight it under Mexican law. Don't spend a penny here....it is a total rip off.
Has anyone been able to contact Wes Johnson or Jorge Alcibar related to the development of The Residences at Los Cabo's Golf Resort. They are having issues with the failure of the units sold to be constructed. Neither party is responding to calls. Has anyone initiated legal action on behalf of themselves or other owners? If so please contact me to discuss. Kevin M. 636-579-9756
It is a shame that a resort as peaceful and pleasent with such a wonderful staff would align itself with an outfit as crooked as VRI. The sales staff from VRI will promise you anything to get your money. They will tell about bonus programs that you later find out don't seem to exist. When you attemp to contact your sales representative his phone is no good and he won't answer your emails. When you contact VRI they act like they don't know who this person is and have no knowledge of the program bonuses you agreed to for signing up. The most frustrating part of all this is the lack of cooperation from VRI to rectify the problem. They have your money and that's all they seem to care about. Don't give them any money they won't honor the promises made by the sales staff even when you have it in writing.
Was the first time in Mexico and fell in love with this place. Cabo is a very great little place. Very safe and great food. Best lobster tamale in the world. I crave it all the time LOL We plan on our return trip back real soon
My family of four spent one week at los cabos golf country club and loved it. it is walking distance from walmart and 10min drive from the nightlife, resorts, dining of Cabo San lucas. The resort is located on the main street and had easy access to any bank, beaches and highway. The hotel staff, especially GEO was very informative and helpful. Daily maid service was outstanding. would recommend this place to friends and family.
