This property was small and quaint. Excellent location and beautiful grounds.
We had a great stay at secrets! The service was very good, we didn’t wait long for much, especially if we gave a tip to start. Both pools were cleaned daily and one was way more party vibes while the other was more quiet, both have great views of the mountains, water and golf course. The mixed drinks were well made and the wine was okay and they had an average selection of domestic beers. The breakfast in the market buffet was a great selection and they would make fresh omelette or just eggs when asked. We enjoyed ordering lunch from our server at the pool from their room service menu as opposed to doing another buffet. And Oceana was by far the best restaurant, the surf and turf was so good! Everyone we heard from didn’t like the food from El Patio(Mexican food) so we stayed away. The Italian and Japanese restaurant were both good, in order to get a seat at the hibachi table you have to wait in line at the restaurant at 3:45 even if you have a preferred room you are not guaranteed to get a spot unless you don’t mind eating until 10pm. I would recommend you stop at a local store to pick up some sunscreen, aloe, or better wine.
AC not working properly, staff was advised multiple times. Room service never arrived both times.
The private balcony pool had hundreds of small white threadworms (roundworms/pinworms) in the pool and I reported it to the front desk when I noticed, unfortunately on my last day. They said no manager was on site to talk to me and no one has contacted me since to discuss. I'm very upset about the experience to say the least.

I wish I could give this property and its people 20 stars. What an amazing vacation! My husband and I visited Cabo for our 9th Anniversary and it exceeded all expectations. The rooms were clean and the bed so comfortable. The food options and quality was exceptional. The pool and activities were amazing. What really made the stay was the ability to completely relax, and now that the caring and friendly staff would take care of your every need. I would like to mention a few, although every staff member was amazing- Wendy/Cesar at the Market Grill, Matias at Portfino, Mirina at the main pool, Christian at the preferred pool and Ivan with the activities team. We will be back and we will reccomend to everyone we can. Tahnk you Secrets for an unforgettable vacation. Best vacation ever!
I would have said this property was delightful but unfortunately the staff at the front desk ruined a lot of that. We had a gentleman at first that clearly was there to help make my birthday special. Even upsold us to a better room with a view. Clearly the manager didn’t like this… because he then proceeded to threaten to take money out of first guys paycheck. Even after check out they called my room 3 times harassing about this same issue. It was just so distasteful in my opinion. I wouldn’t stay anywhere that is willing to treat their guests OR their employees like this.

The property was beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The dinners were difficult. So many stipulations that seemed ridiculous. There is so much to say about it, I don’t want to sit here and type it all in. I wouldn’t stay there again. I’ve been at several all inclusive properties and never incurred so many issues just to eat dinner.
Beautiful resort! Fun daily activities. I didn’t do my research before I booked and didn’t realize that there is not a swimable beach off of this property. They were a little pushy with trying to get me to sit through a time share presentation which I did not like. Overall I do recommend this property!
The property was so beautiful, well maintained and offered many activities. The staff are extremely attentive, friendly and helpful. Many food options were offered and everything was tasty and fresh. Antonio at the Portofino restaurant was an amazing, funny server. And the rest of the staff that sang happy birthday to us provided “fireworks” and made our dinning experience memorable. Susan and Patty also helped us with our activity plans outside the resort and we’re also kind and funny and made our experience planning activities easy. Our overall experience was amazing.
10/10 would recommend for a relaxing, romantic getaway.
We enjoyed the pools and preferred club. The overalls staff members are very friendly. The” coupons” for all the packages are not worth buying but we did upgrade our room to preferred club which we enjoyed the club and the private pool very much. Food could be better but not bad at all.
