We stayed at Dreams for the week of New Years Eve. We were very disappointed with the customer service. We were a large group, and had a heck of a time trying to dine together. The dinner buffet was very small, it was out doors, very dark, you were not able to see what you were eating. There was no where to sit at the lobby bar in the evenings if you wanted to hang out with friends. You had to get to the pool at 6am if you wanted to have a lounge chair by the pool. Entertainment was very boring. For what we paid, we certainly could have stayed somewhere much better. I do not recommend this resort for large groups.

The staff was friendly and helpful , but my room was not ready. 2 hr later sitting in the lobby I got a room. From there on a great time

I loved everything about this resort. The only thing I didn’t like is that at night they have venders who sells stuff by the pool and after you’ve been drinking some they get a little pushy and say rude things.

Hotel was beautiful. Staff were excellent. Food was ok. Not great. Use to seeing a lot of buffet style all day. Lot of miscommunication of restaurant open or not. Spa was amazing!!!! If you want a relaxed hotel this is it. Just was not happening with 2 adult kids they were bored. So spent more $$ on extra excursions. Ghost town by 10-11pm. Also to consider off peak but that should not effect our stay.

Most of the staff were friendly, even those that weren't fluent in English. The services were very good and staff were always will to assist. This was my best vacation at a resort so far.

I planned this trip to take with my three kids (boy / girl twins 14 and 10 yo boy). I upgraded to the Preferred Club which sounded really good when they presented it to me. Upon check in the staff was very pleasant and friendly but that ended as soon as we existed the Preferred Club doors. The remaining of the staff especially at the restaurants are rude and not friendly at all. Our room was clean but smelled like petroleum. I didn't complain about the smell as the kids like the room. It was my twins birthday so they decorated the bed very nicely but only put one of the kids names on there and forgot the second name which was very disappointing since I made it clear to them prior to my arrival and upon arrival that it was both of their birthdays. The quality of the food is below average at all the restaurants and combined with rude staff didn't make a pleasant experience. The only good meal we had was the buffet breakfast. We booked two excursions through the hotel. Our first was suppose to be a Snorkeling tour on a catamaran. What we weren't told was that the catamaran is more like a big ship with over 200 people on it that was over sold with no room to sit. So we were stock on the second floor under the hot sun with no shade. During the snorkeling over 75 people jumped in the water and my little guy got hit over 15 times in the face with other peoples fins so I had to take him back to the boat. The boat ended up to be a party drunk boat.

Loved our room but it was loud there. You could hear the carts rolling in the halls at all times of the day

We enjoyed our stay at the dreams resort. The hotel staff is very polite and friendly.

We absolutely loved Dreams Los Cabos. We did the Preferred package for an additional $90 per night and enjoyed the preferred lounge. Luis in the lounge is the greatest! So is Hector. Cleanest hotel I've stayed at in Mexico. Pricey, but worth it. Can't swim the beach due to undertow, but the lounge chairs with provided towels and bar on the beach were awesome.

Unfortunately we were next to a family with kids that woke up screaming at 6am... and with adjoining doors... the screaming sounded like it was literally in our room. The bummer was the hotel was at max capacity as far as the base price room went, so we had to pay to upgrade to a quieter room. I was a little disappointed in that since we clearly weren't sleeping in the first one, and that wasn't our fault. Other than the room, the hotel was amazing and the staff were very friendly!! Overall, amazing (after the switch of rooms).

We had our vow renewal ceremony with 17 guests. We hosted a bonfire for the guests which was the highlight of our stay at Dreams. All of our guests enjoyed it. It included a private bar, beds, lanterns, couches and marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers. And you can hook up your own music with your iphone. It was fantastic! We loved the upgrades they have made since the hurricane. The beds were super comfortable. The 24 hour rooms service was great! The pool staff was always readily available anytime we wanted a drink, although the restaurant staff was extremely slow for dinner. The cabernet red wine was great (pleasantly surprised!). The location of our room was on the quiet pool side and in the middle of the U, even though we paid for a honeymoon suite and had brought 17 guests with us. It would have been a nice gesture to have our room ocean front. Two of our guests had no hot water. And during the day on the quiet side of the pool you could hear a jack hammer outside the rooms and at the pool (this might be tough to avoid considering they are always doing construction in Cabo). The lobby bar closes super early (10:30pm) and we would have preferred it to be open a little later (11:30pm). The café located near the lobby had fantastic lattes (another surprise!). Between Bordeaux, Seaside Grill and Portofino, the food at Portofino was by far the best!! The other two were not great and the steak was particularly a letdown.

Everything was great. By the third day, three people was sick with stomach problems. Now back home and still having the same stomach problem. The food presentation was nice but I believe that our stomachs did not agree with the food.

Had a great time at this beautiful beachfront property. Kids loved the Explorers Club, water slide, and other activities. Staff were always friendly and accommodating, and overall the service and amenities were excellent. Food was pretty good (Mexican food items were the best). I had a massage and highly recommend the spa, as well as the adult only pool. Only downside is the beach is not really swimmable.

beach is NOT swimable which was a big negative for me. Employees are very friendly and attentive. breakfast buffet was good. The dinner buffets were sadly better than their upscale Italian restaurant Portifino which was disgusting! Bordeaux restaurant was excellent! If you like being in the heart of the action (marina) don't stay here. Overall it's a nice place I would rate it 4/5. I prefer a little more trendy/upscale hotel such as their sister property Breathless which is adult only at the marina which is where I'll be staying next time.

The hotel staff are very accommodating . They procide EXCELLENT SERVICE!! The facilities, the resort, all through out is in excellent condition. Only setback is the beach. You cannot swim in it because of the WAVES. Maybe they might consider.building a break water, then it would have been PERFECT! If not, there's a nearby accessible beach, anyway.

Close to all you want to do and see. Friendly staff. Loved Mierim at the pool restaurant. No ovean water activities but nice beach. Very attentive.

Ok....BILLY and dreams sales staff owe my my wife and I a free day...they lured us to sit for a 60 min sale pitch which they hit us right after our 8 hr plane ride.lied about room not being ready so we had to be tormented to leave 20 dollar deposit free 300 off on spa ok we thought was worth it..but it turned into 5 hrs of them under shark attack trying to get us to buy 40 thousand dollar 2 vacation a year time share.Omg we said no no no for 5 hrs it was like house arrest..my blew her top ..we left under highblood pressure. .never was I so mad....and destroyed our time..we want some kind of refund...trying to persuade us to finance 40,000 for 30 years 750 a month 9 interest..OMG WE ARE ON VACATION OUR 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY .I WANT REFUND..

Everything was amazing for our third stay at Dreams in Los Cabo.

Dreams resort is the perfect place to stay. Everything you need is at this resort and staff is fantastic. I would definitely return here!

This resort is amazing, the views, the service, the amenities, the choices of food. It was very comforting, the room we stayed in was a One Bedroom Preferred Club, on the 5th floor to the side. We had a really good view, there are a few palm trees but it's still beautiful. I would say 90 percent of the employees were kind and welcoming and very friendly. The pool was nice as well, and the adults pool was very calm and relaxing. The only part that I didn't like much was the WIFI, it was very slow and I could only use in the balcony. I would definitely go back there again! Also, if you would like to schedule a tour its very easy and fast. Shuttle service is available every hour, I would recommend taking that instead of a Taxi, it's more safer. I would say El Patio was my favorite restaurant, the fish tacos are a must!! Alonso, is the best waiter and very friendly! Also Himitsu, the Asian restaurant was really good. My least favorite was Oceana and Portofino. Some great activities to do there are: Dolphin swim, ATV, Horseback riding, downtown Cabo San Lucas, El Arco (although we caught a bad time, it was hurricane season so we couldn't go there). The great thing about this resort is that its in the middle of San Jose Del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. The Puerto Paraiso mall is great for souvenirs, and then visiting the marina and medano beach.
