Stayed here from 26th Dec to 28th Dec. Where do i start. The smell, mould in bathroom damp in wardrobe cracked sink. Breakfast very poor. Restaurant looked like a living room with a few tables set in. Needs closed down and gutted inside. Would not recommend this hotel.

I had booked for us to go and see Chelsea Football Team play for my husband for our 40th wedding anniversary along with my son. My husband suf fers from Vascular Disease and is unable to walk a distance, this hotel was less than 5 minutes away from the ground. This was the only good thing bout hotel. I originally booked 1 night but gbecause the time of game had been brought forward we had to book the friday night as well. Our flight from Belfast was 21.30 we arrived at Gatwick around 23.00 my son went to collect car hire and there were few hiccups, eventually we got on the road arriving at the hotel at 02.00am, we were welcomed by the so call night porter who came out of door rubbing his eyes as if we had woke him! gave us our room key with no real talk what a welcome. We were in triple room which looked liked it would need a good clean, sheets were not fresh, bathroom was disgusting, stains on toilet seat, shower curtain was mingin(stinking)Food in restaurant was disgusting, not welcoming at all. Bottle beer was £3 but price list on day of match was changed to £4!!. I booked the triple room in August at £184, the xtra night was charged at 90 when questioned that we only got into hotel at 02.00 didnt make they quote on website car parking but dont say its £10 per night.i asked was there a vending machine i could buy bottle of water he replied bar is closed i said could he get me water and said he couldnt. Overall the match was fantastic but La Reserve was awful definitely needs a good DEEP CLEAN in bedroom n bathroom, customer service (what customer service) needs a good trainer to learn them how to be welcoming the old saying is if you cant smile you shouldnt own hotel, definitely true in this case.

Dirty room, staff was rude, car park disorganised, bed uncomfortable, toilet seat with dirty spot of urine and breakfast unpleasant. Expensive for what they offered. One of the worst hotel I’ve stayed. Definitely not coming back.

This has to be the worst hotel in the uk i have stayed at. The rooms are tired, tv small, the sleep quality was atrocious as it was very loud particularly the floorboards. The breakfast is poor,, looking exceedingly unappealing. The internet didn't work and the shower head is very very low. Its not ideal font bother better value and better quality hotels elsewhere.

Of all the hotels I’ve stayed in, this by far the worst and I’ve stayed in some flea pits in my time! Ok, the positives.... it’s handy if you support Chelsea or are a visiting fan as the stadium is within spitting distance (sorry I’m an Everton fan). For London prices (total rip-off) its very cheap. The food was very good to a point. More on that later. Errrrm yeah that’s abouts it! The negatives? Where do I start? £10 to park your car but you have to leave your key at reception so they can move it. Hmmmm. The room, well mine was nothing like the webpage version. Mine was dark, dirty and from the 70’s. the sockets next to the bed where an inch thick in dust. Not good if you’re asthmatic. The bathroom was grubby and bob the builder had been let loose with the mastic gun as it was used to stick everything down. The shower head was crusty and potentially a public health issue (legionella). The bed was as hard as a park bench. Although it did my back the world of good! Great entertainment at breakfast time as the waitress and chef fell out over something with him swearing at the top of his voice. Not good while you’re trying to munch on your over cooked leather and egg/beans. Having read some of the other comments I totally agree that this place needs shutting down, revamping and a change of owner. They should be ashamed. Great staff who work hard but they can’t make a silk purse out of a sows ear.

I would recommend this hotel for it's location, value for money and also very convenient parking. I have been using this hotel two or three times a year for at least the last 15 years, so I think that speaks for itself.

Terrible hotel . Paid £70 for room so I feared the worst as too cheap . Very outdated , bar rubbish. A cold shower topped it off . Don't go , should be shut down !! I only stayed as I was at a conference nearby . Wish I hadn't .

We booked this hotel through Trip Advisor for our recent stay in London and we wanted to be near Stamford Bridge. The hotel is outdated, dirty and in a terrible location. It is NOTHING like the pictures they have online. Our room was on the street side and with no A/C we had to keep the window open and it was incredibly noisy. Additionally, the fan they put in the room did not work. The refrigerator was disgusting and looked like it had never been cleaned. The first night I saw a bug on my bed and when I asked to be switched to another room they were unable to accomodate the change. We came home infested with bed bug bites. It was by far the WORST travel experience we have ever had. Trip Advisor should send one of their representatives to this hotel before they advertise it on their site.

My parents stayed at this hotel in one of the pricier rooms for a few nights. Front desk staff seemed annoyed to have to go turn the heat on in room, as well as go check plumbing. Plumbing was in desperate need of refurbishment, toilet did not flush and shower did not drain. Appliances such as hair dryer and steam press are straight out of the 1960's! The room did appear clean. Breakfast was well done with a great variety of choices for guests.

Stayed overnight here , after going to nashville nights at club under the bridge , the hotel is very well located , and the rooms were adequate , but didn't get a wink of sleep !! Main road really noisy and the lift going up and down all night !!! , ask for quiet room if staying here . !!
