Great value, clean, everything you need for an overnight stay. Very good location. Stayed for one night and could not have needed anymore. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in London but not wanting to spend an absolute fortune. Would definitely stay again.
great hotel with great service. thank for the office team especially. Tube is very close only 5 minutes walk from Shadwell and whitechapel both, with even 24hrs bu service.best valued hotel in London for sure. We will be back
I stayed at this lovely hotel for 4 nights in the first week of Nov 17 and had an absolutely pleasant stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful and even collected my deliveries prior to my check in. The hotel was neat and my room was spacious, clean and well equipped. My colleagues and I had dinner at the restaurant twice and the food was really good. The service at breakfast and dinner was always exceptional with the staff always serving you with a smile. The buffet breakfast had a good variety available and even catered for my vegetarian colleagues. The staff was very accommodating and was able to provide me with an early check in and late check out, which was much appreciated. I would highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure.
The hotel is easy to find and within walking distance of Whitechapel underground. We arrived at 1pm but our room was ready - really clean and tidy, a new hotel so everything is in tip top condition. The hotel is a stones throw from shops, restaurants and bars - we walked down to the river, Wapping high street which is well worth a trip, great sights of London and some excellent old pubs. I would definitely stay again at this hotel - the breakfast was great also.
First time at this Hotel.Welcoming staff member at desk on arrival who upgraded us to the executive suite at no extra cost which made it a perfect overnight stay for us which made us feel really special. Breakfast was a buffet with a huge variety of food and drink to choose from .On checking out the staff member at the desk was professional and friendly The location of this Hotel was ideal for for visiting our grand daughter at Queen Mary University. Our only disappointment was that our stay was only for the one night. Will definitely use this Hotel again.
It was a joy to stay here. Most unexpected accommodation, staff was attentive and professional. For a budget London hotel it was first class and we could not fault. Exceedingly clean, well decorated and I would even stay puts some of the so called, higher class hotels to shame.
Chaos on arrival as the IT systems were all down, however the front desk staff managed to find me a room quickly and efficiently (well done!) Standard problem with Holiday Inn that depending on how my travel agent books the stay I can’t register my IHG card for the stay, other chains handle this better and I tend to start using them as I want to get points and status for my stays. Comfortable room, good bed, good breakfast ... a standard Holiday Inn stay
I really enjoyed my stay here. I’d recommend it to anyone and I’d certainly be back again. I stayed only one night and on IHG points (30,000). I was hoping to get an upgrade of some sort, even just a high floor would’ve been appreciated. With that said, the room wasn’t bad. It was nice and pretty spacious. I was on the 2nd floor and it was a bit noisy with the sirens outside and what not. I had a spa appointment near St Paul’s Cathedral and this hotel was relatively closeish to it, by Uber it cost only £5. Whitechapel station wasn’t too far, I walked from it to get here upon arrival. The only thing was that my phone had bad internet service and I didn’t know where to go - which wouldn’t have been so frightening if I wasn’t a solo female traveler looking like a deer in headlights trying to find this hotel. The area it’s in is nice.. but it was kind of hard for me to find at first. I enjoyed the restaurant too... I had the Carbonara and it was DIVINE. Best meal of my entire trip to London, no exaggerations. front desk was a breeze, the check in process was quick. The gentlemen who checked me in was nice but unfortunately his name I cannot remember. Thanks for a great stay! Will come again in the future should I require a hotel in the Whitechapel area
My son and I stayed here when visiting Queen Mary university for the open day. Problem at first as they gave us a double room when I booked a twin. Quickly and efficiently sorted out with an apology and a complementary coffee at Starbucks. Room clean warm and comfortable. Top notch breakfast set us up for the day. If he chooses the uni will stay there again.
A very good location, to explore amongst other things the Krays Tour and Ripper Tour. Helpful friendly staff. Good size rooms and kept very clean. It has a bar to start and finish the evening off. Ticks the box.
