Stayed one night while in London for a concert st Wembley. Hotel very busy with similar concert goers. Slight delay booking in when room was not ready. Issue dealt with by Guest Service Manager Sam Faek who was very professional and helpful. Sam made us feel like honoured guests and old friends, a real skill in someone dealing with so many visitors. We had booked an executive room that was clean and comfortable with the extra touches you would expect. The hotel is convenient for North Action tube but worth remembering there is another Holiday Inn adjacent to the station which didn't look so nice. The hotel is also next to the busy A40 Western Way but there was no road noise inside the hotel. We didn't use the car park but it looked very busy.
We booked for two nights absolutely outstanding staff were very friendly and helpful very clean and modern food was great would defiantly book with holiday inn london west again. Very quiet and relaxing
Ivaylo great person serves the best pints and I really enjoyed my time in the Hikiday inn. Great bar and bar staff! I would stay here again without a shadow of a doubt!! It was a stay that I would happily repeat! The 7th floor is all executive!
So this trip left me feeling a little bit disappointed and frustrating. The hotel itself was great, modern fresh and clean. Little gym upstairs is ideal for my late night gym needs. Rooms are nicely decorated. Comfy beds. So all good there. The frustrations I had were more so with the customer service I was provided with. When I arrived, I was left feeling like I wasnt at all a priority to the three people on reception. I had forgotten my IHG card so didn't have my number, when I mentioned this the woman said "maybe" she could sort this "might" speak to her manager. When I know from previous visits to other holiday inns this can be found using my personal details. I just felt like a massive inconvenience. Things unfortunate weren't much better in the restaurant either. When I was left for 20 minutes on the second night without being seen to (after I was seated by the restaurant staff) I ended up having to get back up and asking someone to come over. Then with no apology. And being put into a disabled room was the icing on the cake because if you book a standard room, they apparently can put you anywhere. Which isn't made clear when booking. And they had no other rooms available I could be moved into. All the all the visit has left me feeling pretty disappointed as I have only recently started requesting and staying in Holiday Inns again. I doubt I will stay here on my next visit. Staff need to be given more training on customer servicea and how simple things can make the difference to someone's stay.
This was our second stay at this hotel. Comfortable room, modern and clean. Free mobile phone. Close to North Acton underground station. Several buses nearby. Safe area. Every employee we encountered was efficient. Very helpful front desk staff, especially Claudia, Sam, Gala and Maria. Breakfast better than average at HI. Friendly staff at the restaurant as well, especially Sandor. We will certainly stay at this hotel again.
Just went to the Bar/Restaurant (a week ago). Great staff, food is great (delicious soups!) plus, I managed to keep my phone's battery alive! :p A special thank you to waitress Paula, who was very kind with me and is an awesome professional worker. If the hotel is as good as the restaurant, then I absolutely recommend it! A word for the other waiters (Krisztina, Amir and Ivaylo) who were really nice and helpful. Absolutely recommend it and as for me, will be back for sure!
Stayed for one night, while I took my son to see the Stone Roses. Lovely, clean hotel, staff very helpful and friendly. Absolute bonus is, the rooms are all equipped with a mobile smart phone, that is free to use, and you can take out with you!!! It was a life saver when we needed an Uber, at midnight, in the middle of Wembley :D I made a slip up with the breakfast times, and came down when the buffet had finished - staff were extremely helpful, and had breakfast prepared and sent to our room. They charged me an extra £5 for room service, but it was my mistake, and I was happy to pay. Comfortable beds, clean room (not a fan of laminate floors in hotels, but just personal preference), bathroom spotless and modern......definitely recommend. Just a side note: the hotel is at least 20 mins away from Wembley Stadium (dependant on traffic), Uber cost £12 to get there, but £33 to get back.......Wembley is a nightmare to get out of if you're going to the stadium/arena.......make sure you sort out your lift back and a good, clear pick up point, because it's absolute chaos when the venue empties!!
First stay here for me and my family. It was an awesome experience. The hotel is very close to North acton tube station (5 minute walk) and you are in Central London basically in 20 minutes. The hotel was clean and well kept, truely a 4 star hotel indeed. Breakfast was great (buffet style). I would like to point out the best part of the hotel - it's lovely staff! The staff (from the receptionists to the people serving breakfast etc.) are truely awesome. Edina and Adrienn (working at breakfast and around the lounge) deserve a special mention here as they've been most helpful throughout our stay, very friendly and communicative girls. Also, Fernando working at the reception desk deserves a big commendation also, as he was of great help with our boarding tickets and all of our questions and special requests. In conclusion, I would describe the staff to be very friendly, creating almost a family type atmopshere for you as the guest. Awesome!
I stay very often in London for business and after a lot of hotels i found this hotel where after an hard day of work i can really relax. All the staff, starting from the reception going through all the waiters and bartenders are very professional and friendly.
This was a great hotel. It's very near the tube and only about a 10 minute ride to all the sights. Very clean and we ate at the bar several times and the food was great and not overpriced. We especially enjoyed the pizza. Stag was very friendly.
