I need to thanks Laura for her help at the reception. She Made us feel at home. She made us Guest of the day and Made me so happy. Thank you Laura. You are a star!!!! The location is great. And an exellent service
Chose this hotel for convenience for location it offered with access to Olympic Park. Only really used the hotel for overnight stay to attend an event, The facilities were very good from what I see, the breakfast was of very good quality, and had a good nights sleep. It would not be fair to comment on any thing else.
This is an incredible busy area with many restaurants and shops. When i arrived, it was the evening of a West Ham game; people were 'routy' but not disruptive. This is not a good location if you arrive by car. Be prepared to walk. The hotel configuration was a bit confusing because the reception was not at ground level. However, the staff were kind and the rooms were cleaned. It was not difficult to hop on the tube or grab a bite to eat. I recommend for younger couples.
This is a great hotel, good location, clean and modern but what makes it really great are the staff that work there. They make you feel so welcome and are genuinely happy to help you with whatever you need to make your stay more comfortable. It was my Wife's Birthday during in our stay and the Hotel sent up complimentary Prosecco and cake to our room which was a really nice touch and then in the evening more complimentary cake and Birthday wishes from the staff as we enjoyed a drink in the bar. The breakfast is excellent and we ate in the restaurant one evening and found the food to be of a good standard. We had no problem getting into the city each day with the tube station literally 3 mins away and then it's only a 15 minute tube ride. I cannot recommend the Holiday Inn Stratford City highly enough and would just like to thank all the staff members for helping to make it such a memorable stay.
Second time we've stayed here over an Easter weekend and enjoyed it again. Coming from the North, we find the hotel nice and easy to get to (A1/M11/A12) without having to venture to close to 'London' itself. Parking is max £9.50 for 24 hours too so bargain really. Ideal location on the central/jubilee/DLR so easy to reach all parts of London and plenty to do at Westfield itself for shopping, entertainment and food if you don't feel like venturing far. Hotel is modern and clean, friendly welcoming staff and great breakfast. We got an included rate otherwise it's £15 but to be fair, it's a really very good choice so would actually be worth that price. Rooms spacious, MASSIVE bed (too big?), usual kettle and stuff, hair drier, nice TV. Shame they're still building round there as the views aren't as good anymore of the former Olympic park as new buildings are still going up. Enjoy staying here and will certainly be back :-)
Thanks again to Hayley & the team for another excellent weekend at the Holiday Inn. Wonderful staff, nothing is a problem to them. Food is excellent & fresh, room is well cleaned every day. Resturant is easily located, breakfast is such a wide variety of choices. One of the best hotels in London for value. Will be back again & again. Also handy for shopping at the Stratford Centre and for tube & overground rail services to all of London. Car parking is cheap & only a 5 minute walk.
We had a little problem with our booking but since the start. Mariya was very nice with us and then Orazio was lovely to help us out with the language barrier. Jonathan was extremely kind to offer us a reasonable rate to solv our problem. Just great.
We have stayed here multiple times and must say that it is a wonderful hotel! It offers some high quality room and a lovely breakfast which provide an excellent value for your money. They provide a full English Breakfast with a special pancake machine that is truly a creation of the gods. During our stay we had a wonderful service at our breakfast from a waiter named Reinson who offered to both make us coffee and pancakes! It is staff like him that makes the hotel a wonderful experience! The location in the shopping center Westfield might scare someone, but you barely notice it. Ideal for football travels as well since it is located right next to the Olympic Park where West Ham plays in the Premier League. If you are not interested in football you should, however, be aware that +50000 people gather in the area when West Ham is playing which means the tube gets really crowded.
I was staying with a friend, and we had been allocated a room with a double bed, I phoned reception to see if another was available with separate beds, A member of staff 'MIZAN' immediately came to the room to discuss requirements, then told me to take a seat in the room and he would see what he could do. He was back within a couple of minutes and helped carry my case to a different room and arranged for the extra large double to be split into singles. He was very polite, friendly and helpful. I saw Mizan around the hotel a couple of times during my overnight stay and he enquirerd if everything was ok and if I needed any assistance. All the staff were courteous but Mizan went the extra mile to ensure we had a good stay, even thou only for one night. Great location not just for the shops but we stayed as we had been to a concert at the O2 and it is only 4 stops on the tube.
Exellent customer service, Laura at the reception is definitely the best!!!! Very funny, great personality, and helpful. Very nice experience. The room was clean, the service very good. I will definitely come back
