Me and my Husband came to stay for two nights at Hilton, Syon Park. We had got married on 1 Jan and came to stay on 2 Jan. I had made mentions of the celebration at the time of booking and when confirming the reservation a day before. I was quite disappointed when we arrived that it wasnt mentioned and nothing special had been done at all. I actually emailed a day before asking if they had the resources to decorate the room a little but I never even receieved a response. When we were checking in I mentioned to the lady at reception that we had just got married and she didnt even say anything, which was surprising. The room lacked a few amenities which was mentioned on the website such as "coffee machine" and "slippers". The room (King Junior Suite) which was ALOT smaller than it seems in the photos. We didnt have a balcony or anything. The room could also have been a lot cleaner than it was. We booked two signature treatments at the spa which was wonderful. It was probably the highlight of the stay. It was really nice and the staff and therapists were really friendly. The breakfast was also really nice and a good variety of options. Something for everyone. I didnt realise that Hilton Honor members can request a later check out. I think this should definitely be advertised as we were quite rushed. It would have been nice to check out a little later. Overall, having spent £700. I would have rather spent it somewhere more worthwhile where more of a fuss would have been over our celebrations. We left feeling a little underwhelmed.

Hilton London Syon Park was amazing! The staff were polite and friendly, couldn't fault them at all! The spa/pool area was excellent - very refreshing and clean. The room's view was lovely and the room itself was very clean, apart from a few dirty patches in the bathroom. The bed was comfy and very spacious. Would definitely recommend to a friend and revisit in the future. 5/5!!

Nice luxury rooms and furnishings. Much more plush than standard Hilton’s (probably because it used to be a Waldorf Astoria). The restaurant and breakfast were also much nicer than at other Hilton’s. The only issues we had was that the car park was very full and they messed up the billing and charged several people for the same room

This is my second visit around the christmas period. The setting is lovely and location is handy to reaching London central. There aren't any taxis outside, but we made use of the bus and tube into Hyde Park and Westfields. I am sure you could order a taxi if needed. Its far enough to be away from the bustle of London, but close enough to get in relatively quickly. Ate in restaurant a few times, staff and very attentive and professional. Wanted to visit Shisha lounge (Syon Lounge) but were very strict on under 18's (daughter is 17). I loved the rooms. I can't fault the facilities in the room, tv in bath and a rain shower as well as a regular shower. The views of Syon House are nice and the balconies I can imagine in summer are lovely to sit at. There is also a nice gastro pub walking distance from the hotel. The Spa was the highlight of our stay. The layout is well thought out. Not crammed in. The spa is relaxing and tastefully decorated. Massage was good. I actually felt like I was being massaged as oppose to just rubbing cream on. I will return but try it in the summer. Syon House is closed over the winter so was unable to see inside.

After requesting an early check in, we arrived at the Hilton Syon Park at 1pm. Upon arrival we were told the room would not be ready until 3pm, however, the room was not ready until 3:45 pm. We were offered no help with our luggage, instead we were shown where the luggage trolleys were so we could do it ourselves. The room itself was nice but there was long black hair all over the bathroom floor and the bed hadn't been made properly (obviously the cleaning of the room had been rushed). After being checked in late, we asked for a late check out the next day as our flight was quite late. We were offered a "complimentary" 30 minutes, which seems a bit unfair considering we were checked in 45 minutes late. We then asked if we could use changing room/showers near the pool so we could freshen up before our flight. The use of changing rooms/shower would cost us 25 GBP...EACH! Gobsmacked, we said no thank you. Upon checking out, we were told the bill was settled as we had paid when we booked. I have since checked my credit card to see I've been charged $85 AUD plus currency conversion charge. There was no mention of this charge at check out and we didn't use any amenities, bar fridge or spa. The hotel and the grounds are nice but the lack of communication and poor customer service ruined our experience. We paid nearly $250 AUD for one night in a basic room and they wanted to charge us nearly $90 AUD to have a shower in a communal bathroom. Looking after their guests is obviously not a priority, we won't be back.

I first visited the hotel when it opened as the Waldorf Astoria Syon Park in 2014 (I think). At the time, it was a quiet and beautiful 5* hotel, and I couldn't wait to go back. Sadly, they downgraded the hotel to a 4* Hilton, most likely due to the lack of business. When I returned in December 2017, I certainly felt the difference. My lovely boyfriend booked a spa day/one night stay with dinner and breakfast for the two of us as a Christmas present, and I could barely contain my excitement. We each had a 25 minute back, neck and shoulder massage -the price of which was included in the package. For a massage that would have cost us just shy of £50 each, it was pretty mediocre. It didn't hold a candle to my usual massage place (Siam Beauty, Clapham), where I usually pay £40 for an hour long full body massage, performed to a better standard. We would have paid extra to extend the massage, but they were fully booked. We then went over to the pool to have a relaxing swim and jacuzzi, but left after 5 minutes on account of the screaming kids. In my experience, most spa's don't allow children under 13. If you want a romantic spa break, go somewhere else like The Ned or the Chelsea Harbour Hotel - it costs more but you get what you pay for. Throughout the course of the evening, we had several unsupervised children run into us in the hallway. Of course this isn't the hotel staff's fault - its the fault of the new generation of selfish, entitled parents who can't be bothered to discipline their children and expect others to deal with them. But this is precisely the reason that most spa's don't (and shouldn't) allow young children. So we went to the gym instead. It was very well kitted out, but the weights were all over the place. Long story short, the screaming kids ruined the experience. Dinner was ok. It was a 3-course set menu affair.The potted duck was greasy and virtually flavourless. The calamari was yummy, and the vegetable gnocchi was excellent. The sticky toffee pudding wasn't great, nor was the eton mess. The restaurant was clearly understaffed - we spent close to 2 and a half hours in the restaurant, and only 30 minutes of this time actually eating. We ordered two large glasses of wine at £11 each (one Chardonnay, one Malbec) - tasted like utter plonk. We retired to our room at around 10.30pm - and the room was absolutely stunning. The TV in the shower was the cherry on top. By midnight, we decided it was time for bed - but we couldn't get to sleep because some other guests were having a party on their balcony. We awoke very tired and very grumpy the next morning. The bed was probably a tad too soft and luxurious for me - it gave me a bad back. Breakfast was the saving grace - and it was very good indeed. In short, if you come here for a romantic spa day - you wont get good value for money. Better to pay a little more and do it properly elsewhere.

A great short break at this delightful hotel, the rooms are excellent and Syon park and local area are also lovely. Staff were very polite, happy to help and efficient. Overall a great stay - we will be back again in the Summer!

I think the previous reviewer was rather mean in his criticism. I found the staff's customer service exceptional and I am very fussy about that. We checked in before 2pm on New Years Eve even though the website said 3pm. Our room exceeded our expectation. The shower was amazing. There was everything we needed apart from maybe a couple more teabags (4 wasn't enough). The swimming pool and sauna were brilliant. No children splashing around when we went - only 2 other adults in the pool so we could easily swim our lengths. There were plenty of seats around the pool too. The lighting could have done with being a little brighter as I found it hard to read my book. Evening meal was also very good and yet again the staff in the restaurant very attentive. The correct amount of time was left between courses, we didn't feel rushed and we didn't feel the wait was too long. Praises to the Manager, very polite and efficient. We had 2 complimentary glasses of champagne each instead of one - exceeding the customer's expectations is important. The food was delicious. Beef cooked exactly as i had requested it. Breakfast too was amazing, everything you would want and yet again staff quickly on hand to seat us, no standing around not knowing what to do. My only criticism is the bar area is very, very dark and has exceptionally loud music playing. So dark in fact that the server gave our champagne to another couple as she couldn't see us. The music was far too intrusive and geared towards a younger audience. You could hear the bar music in the restaurant and so that combined with the normal restaurant music did not sound good. When we left the restaurant the music in the bar was even louder and definitely not somewhere you could sit and have your coffee. Check your bill carefully. Ours was incorrect but dealt with without an issue. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel but beware the bar is very dark with very loud music!

amazing stay, relaxed chilled atmosphere with so many options inside the hotel ranging from chilling out round the spa/pool. keeping fit, dining or even the sky lounge connected to the hotel. amazing food, amazing luxury rooms, just a quality affordable place to relax. great end to 2017.

We had couple of Queen rooms with patio on ground floor. We had requested for early check in when we made the reservation but having called the hotel in the morning on the day of check in i was told that the hotel was fully booked and they cannot allow early check in. This was understandable. When we checked into the rooms the first impression of the rooms was very good. But the second room was smelling of smoke and i think that the housekeeping should have put some extra effort to get rid of the smell especially when the rooms are being allocated for family with babies. I then received a text message from the hotel reception to see if everything was ok with the rooms to which i replied ‘Yes’ as i did not want to be fussy. In few minutes in realised that the door lock did not work and having informed reception about this they sent a mentainance guy to fix this. He had to take out the faceplate of the lock for the lock to work and he said that in order to fix it he will have to remove the whole lock and slightly move it to the side so that the lever gets fixed into faceplate. Obviously this was going to take time so we asked him to leave the lock without a faceplate. See pics. We feel that this issue should have been fixed before checking in any guest to the rooms as this are very basic things. The TV in one of the rooms had an error saying “error uploading the programme” all through out the stay. We did not report this as we had inter connecting rooms and one of the TV was working so did not bother. Again this should have been taken care of before the guests are checked in. Later in the evening i called reception asking for a cork screw to which i was transferred to room service and i was told that they dont do cork screws and that there should be a plastic one in the mini bar. I later realised that we had asked our mini bars to be kept locked. I called reception again and someone else answered and he said he will come with the cork screw and open the wine for us which he did. It took approx 15 mins to get a bottle of wine opened. The best part of the hotel was the heated swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi. We definitely had a good time when we went swimming with our little one. Breakfast was good too with friendly staff in restaurant. After breakfast we requested receptionist for a little later check out at 1 pm as our little one was sleepy to which we were told that its not possible because they were fully booked. I was very dissappointed and just said ok and left. Overall we felt that the hotel is highly overrated and the customer service at reception needs to be improved a lot.
