First room given was old, stains on the carpet. It was on the 127th floor right next to construction. Had to move rooms. Second room was recently updated however walls are paper thin so I could hear everything in the next room. And smell throughout the hotel like sewage. Staff was nice but the facility itself was not great. Won't stay here again.

The hotel itself if ok they are currently remodeling the rooms and hotel. We did stay at one of the new MGM park room with a king bed. We didn't like it because it was kinda small and didnt have any storage area for clothes. We did like the location more or less center strip.

The hotel was nice and a good location for the shows I had booked in surrounding hotels. Tram was convenient to get to the Bellagio. The hotel was going through some renovations but was not an inconvenience at all. It was perfect for what you need in Vegas, a place to sleep and shower.

Entire hotel was under construction, early in the morning you could hear jackhammers and saws working throughout, there was no water pressure, we asked for a room change and it was granted. One moved to the new room, however the noise continued. Samantha was closed, the access card to the gym did not work. At the end of our stay we were charged a resort fee? I will be disputing this resort fee

Jackhammer noise as we arrived around 4 p.m. feeling very tired. Decided to forego a nap and just went out. When we came back at midnight, construction noise had died down, but now we had to deal with loud music; evidently from an outdoor venue below us. Located ear plugs and they helped. Now this is 22 levels up! Next night - same thing. We had the end room next to the stairwell. Upon closer inspection, there are architectural openings there, with no covering. Perhaps that was why the noise levels were so atrocious.

If your looking for a place to crash this is it. Location is decent Next to better casinos. Restaurants, nightlife subpar. Sportsbook is nice Also have low limit tables.

I stayed a remodeled room it was very modern very cool. The staff is very nice they were doing construction when I arrived that you could hear wile you were checking in but didn’t hear it the rest of my trip. The best part of this hotel is that it’s on the center of it all. T-Mobile arena is right across from the hotel and they build restaurants in front of it so it has a lil bit of night life nothing crazy but just right for older crowd. During the day you could do a little shopping there’s a Ross and a Marshall’s Eminem store and Coca-Cola store right across as well. Including hard rock restaurant and outback. Over all I would stay here again the location alone does it for me

We stayed in one of the new rooms and it was very nice. Construction above us was a little noisy and woke us up often. The hotel was close to the venue for us so that was really nice, we walked to the arena every day. Excited to see the full changes completed

Stayed in a renovated room as they soon will be the Park MGM

Check-in took way too long. But, I actually liked that I could try the other casino pools.

The hotel and their staff were awesome. The staff was very professional and courteous and accommodating and put me in the correct room with the correct bed size (I booked through Orbitz and they gave me the wrong bed size). I love how the hotels are connected and you can either take the tram or walk to the other hotels (Bellagio, Vdara, etc). All 5 stars except the facilities/amenities because it's under construction and can't be used at Monte Carlo but you can use their sister MGM resorts amenities. I would definitely come back and the beds we're super comfortable and clean and the rooms and hotel were clean. It was my first time staying there. Awesome!!!

Nothing is open. One overpriced restaurant (Primrose). Everything is under construction and closed and they still charge you a $40.00 resort fee per day. Resort fee for what? They don’t even have a pool open.

We stayed at the Monte Carlo for 5 nights. We had no heads up when making reservations that there was construction happening to 90% of the hotel. We were told pool construction would be done in early October, but when we arrived on October 19, it wasn’t finished, with no alert given. This making pool access a long walk away to the MGM. We moved rooms our second night because construction noise was so loud and woke us up early. Late night good options were extremely minimal. Overall, we were not pleased with our stay.

The faucet sprayed all over the bathroom and the side mirror on the wall in the bathroom was falling out of the wall. Wish the lamp on nightstand had plugs on base. Construction was said to be 9a but they were working as early as 630a. Would come again after construction due to proximity but will stay at New York New York until construction is complete.

I knew the pool was closed but that was all. Restaurants were closed and there were no shopping at all. The entire front desk was in a different place from where I checked in after only 3 days.I feel the Resort fees should have been waived or at least lowered considerably during these renovations. Also, when checking out, I was told I a receipt would be e-mailed to me but here it is 3 days later and still no receipt. I'm sure it will be beautiful when done, but I would recommend that others stay away till all is finished as I will do.

We have been going to the Monte Carlo for 20 years and are disappointed with some things! The renovation which was going on last year also will not be completed till late next year! The renovated room was nice although there could be better aspects in the bathroom--for the size of the walk in shower, there is plenty of room for a bench, and should be grab bars and towel racks! We were very disappointed that the food court is no longer--there is no place to get a cup of decaf coffee besides a $5 cup in the one restaurant. Staff told us it will be very nice when completed but will there only be high end restaurants? With all the possible other hotels, we are not sure if we will be going back to the Monte Carlo!

Wait at 10 o'clock at night was 1 hour.....then when I got to the front of line, counter person was rude, and told me to wait, she wasn't ready....the next person took care of me and was better. Not a good experience at all

Three days prior to our arrival we were made aware pool was being renovated. One was made available down the street but who wants to go on a shuttle to a pool. Also casino was being renovated so only half was available to play. Dismal crowd. Very few to no inside restaurants. We should have been made aware of renovations at booking. We not return or recommend

We stayed at the Monte Carlo because it offered such a great deal on its rooms... And we found out for good reason - The hotel is under renovation and a lot of the areas are closed. No pool area, most restaurants are not open, and there's a lot of loud construction noise throughout the day. The hallways have seen better days (old, stained, wrinkled carpet) but otherwise clean. The rooms were fine (although our overlooked the construction area). Not a big deal for us as we only were there when we slept at night (quiet then). Otherwise, we were at all the other casinos nearly (Aria, Bellagio, etc). They have a free monorail to the Bellagio and are close to the monorail that connects to Mandalay Bay. If a pool is important then this isn't the place for you. Otherwise, the mild inconvenience was worth the cost savings to us.

I have stayed at this hotel in past and would rate it 4/5, mainly because it needed some updating to compete with nearby hotels. Now they are doing the updating. So half the hotel is under construction while the other half has guests. There is no pool or spa to use at the hotel. You can use the one at Mandalay Bay, which is a hike to get to. There are no shops open. There was no coffee maker in the room, but then the Starbucks in the lobby was closed. (To be fair, the rooms at the Aria, I was told by guests, did not have coffee makers. So maybe this is a Las Vegas trend.) The water was turned off in our room during one day. But the hotel did give us a nominal credit, to be spent at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I am sure that after the remodeling is complete the hotel will look great. I will probably stay there again because I like the location. I just can't recommend it while the construction is going on.
