When I booked this hotel I thought it was a bit pricey but liked the description of the room and since it was Monte Carlo I thought it was going to be a bit fancy so I decided to book it. Big mistake. The Deluxe Queen Room was anything but. The furniture is old and the wood is chipping away. Not worth the price at all. Also, the carpet outside the room is old, stained, and loose. Not much decoration in and around the halls. I thought this was a fancy hotel due to the price and name but it isn't. Will definitely be looking elsewhere next time. However, staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Slot machines are good as well.

The lamp between the beds was broken & the bathroom had no soap or shampoo, but all was taken care of promptly.

Love this resort. Great staff, casino, restaurants and perfect location. However, the rooms needs renovations. It's time for new furnitures, decor and more needed amenities in the rooms (fridge, hairdryer, coffee maker just to name a few). The rooms are outdated and it's time to renovate.

I expected this hotel to be nicer. The rooms were cheap looking, water pressure was bad, the sink in the bathroom was clogged, and the check in process was unorganized. The only good thing was it's proximity to the T-Mobile arena.

It was fun but rooms need updating our you need to lower y your rates.

Just a regular hotel, nothing special. Great, friendly staff.

Would have appreciated an extra blanket on the bed

The front desk managers, Heidi & Octavias were completely rude and incompetent. Our sheets were never changed the entire time. I've had my makeup smeared on the sheets my 1st night and noticed the same stains every night we slept. Not to mention our room only had 1 lamp when there should be at least 3 lamps. Once I made a call to the front desk, I spoke with Octavias, who stated he was the front desk mgr on duty. I told him the room was to dark is it possible if we could receive additional lamps. He said, unfortunately no but could send an engineer with a brighter lamp. Ed showed up and was shocked that they even booked to room to us. He mentioned, that this a nonfunctional room and in fact, there should be 3 lamps not one. I told him what Octavias, said. He then apologized and offered to walk me down to speak to someone at the front desk with our request. He sent us to Heidi, who to our surprise said she couldn't do anything. Ed said that he in fact has tons of additional lamps at the engineering storage area. He will gladly bring us 2 additional unused lamps. We rented a car which we parked on site for additional $8-13 per day. Yet, another distressing surprise, we were charged $30 per day for parking. Each time we went to concierge, we were told our room key wasn't properly callobrated and will be done now. We were basically charged $30 per day for parking.. This has been the worst hotel experience and I will NEVER STAYOU AT MONTE CARLO OR RECOMMEND ANYONE.

bad bartender suggested we tip bad service

hotel room needs to be updated, room had a terrible smell and room was not very nice. Lamp shade all cut and since when does a hotel charge a resort fee without telling people up front? Would not stay here again!!!

The rooms where very nice and affordable. The hotel was not extravagant but clean and the staff was very friendly.

Great location of the Vegas Strip. Excellent check-in and check-out service. Very good food in the Food Court and the Buffet. Thank you very much.

Monte Carlo staff went above and beyond to make our stay a great one!

Great and easy stay. Could use better pillows! Stayed just two nights, no issues at all

We got charge extra day for checking in @ 3 am .Me, my son and my dad travel to Vegas from Hawaii on the Superbowl weekend our flight got in @ 2 am and my dad wanted to rest from the long flight. Agent told us we would have to wait till 7 am to do a early check-in or we pay a extra day rate so I agree to pay a day that in 4 to 5 hours the day is over.

The hotel was just old...old bathtub that looked like my grandma's. The picture online was not the look of the room we were put in! The pool was closed for renovations so had to walk FOREVER to get to the MGM pool. Room walls are SUPER thin and could hear everything. Staff was very nice though and friendly and helpful. Bartender at the front bar was extremely nice. The sheets were scratchy and just felt cheap.

Three of us stayed at the Monte Carlo for one night at a rate of $55 on Orbitz which is a great deal BUT with a resort fee of $33, that average room without a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker station turned into an $88 room. For that price, I definitely think the room could have been much better but it was still cheaper than the other competitor hotels in that stretch. My gripe about the resort fee is that the pool and lazy river is closed during the winter (went in early February) and we didn't use the gym. So for us to pay the resort fee that maintains all those amenities is pretty dumb. I would suggest a cheaper resort fee rate when half of your resort amenities aren't even available to the guests. I give them 3 stars because the hotel casino doesn't wreak of cigarettes, the customer service was really good, we got late check-out (12pm), and the location of the hotel is really nice when accessing the strip. If I stayed here again, it would probably be a more of a deluxe or suite room because their basic room wasn't great but for the price, it was decent.

The hotel looks messy, pool amenities are at the MGM, carpets look dirty and wrinkled and the worst thing is that you can hear your neighbors' wispers!!

excellent time in Vegas, would diffinetly recommend hotel.

The hotel was kept neat and tidy. The staff were all awesome and extremely helpful. The room was excellent and was exactly what we asked for. Thank you!
