if your looking for decent price this a good place room was ok. not much to do at the casino though.

No notice of no pool. Had to go to overcrowded MGM pool. Should not be charged resort fee until pool rebuilt.

The casino floor is nice and updated but the room I stayed in on the 18th floor was very outdated. The carpet seems were coming up, the wall paper was peeling and the other finishes were outdated. My bed was very uncomfortable, the shower head was like a pressure washer and the rest of it just felt old and used. All in all, it has a decent location and gaming options but the rooms are lacking. During my stay the pool was under construction and not usable.

Hotel is showing its age. You can tell they don't want you in the rooms. No refrig ($25 a day). No alarm clock. Weak wifi, and junk satellite.

No pool due to renovations. No poker room at all!!! First room blowing warm air and had a technician who said he fixed it, but when I returned to room it was still blowing warm air. Had to get another room. Cashed in $130 worth of chips and the cashier gave me $120. Had me wait until the next day after a count to realize they did in fact short me $10 The hotel check in line always stayed long. Need more employees checking people in. The 24 hr hotel store had obscene prices. No steak house. They do have Carribean Stud which is the reason I stayed there. When reservations are made, the hotel should inform people about the no pool and no poker room. When I checked in I was told my buffets were comped however on my check out day I went early for breakfast. My room was charged $18 for the buffet breakfast I won't be returning

The concierge was exceptional. The hotel was close to a lot of places we wanted to visit.

Way too inconvenient to pool access....MGM GRAND or MANDALAY BAY. Nice that those were ok to use, but waaaayy too far. Not convenient at all.

I asked the lady that checked me in about the spa, hoping she had some information, her response was, "unfortunately the spa is closed", super rude, I took it as closed for remodeling maybe? Since she didn't say it opens tomorrow at 6am, so I never booked my planned spa day. When checking out the rep at the counter asked me about my stay and then explained that what she meant was that it just was closed for the night. Would have been nice to know. Also they closed the walking tunnel to the self parking, I had to haul my luggage around the building and still had to pay for parking. Lastly the air conditioner wasn't working correctly, woke up hot and sweaty several times during the night. This is the desert, you might want to fix that. Won't be staying at any MGM hotels again. Resort, ha. I'm from Scottsdale, I know what a resort should be and this is not it.

Room was never cool - seemed like a/c unit was not working properly. Bathroom was outdated with wallpaper peeling and mold in grout.

Excellent time at this hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean. Only draw back, not enough restaurants at hotel.

Hotel is undergoing renovations so the walk was a bit far but we were able to have access to both the MGM and Mandalay bay pools which was what the selling point was for us. Rooms were spacious but a bit dusty. The beds were not comfortable and the fixtures in the bathroom were full of lime scale along with some of the wall paper coming off. House keeping was quick and there is access to a tram to the center of the strip from this hotel.

Will recommend this hotel to friends. I look forward of seeing the renovated room,

Nice staff, very well trained. The hotel needs updating which they are addressing.

We had three couples who stayed at the same time. We all enjoyed it.

Broken showers, missing television remote, room not cleaned daily except when ro service was called to request service. Then to be charged a $39.00 daily room charge which was never discussed when making the arrangements. Really displeased

It was a disappointing experience. The hotel is old, so facilities are old as well. The only good thing about Monte Carlo hotel is its location.

Hotel was nice friendly staff. But the pool, spa and outside was under construction.

Long line ups to check in and long line ups to get out. Taxes and add on very expensive. Hotel was not clean rooms poorly furnished, no fridge or towels .Sink was blocked, plug did not work and bath fittings looked like they came from junk yard. Everything was a different finish and colour. Food was terrible in Buffet you could not eat it, overcooked, dry not fresh, but expensive. Management not concerned.

We stayed there 3 years ago. Just went back and its crap. They don't tell you about the 24hr construction going on. Noisy and a/c didn't work. They messed up our rooms.

Only issue is it being renovated and some thing were closed other wise great.
