Flamingo Las Vegas

We stayed at Harrahs before, liked the casino for Flamingo more, but hotel facilities were outdated and not in great shape, they need to upgrade, also felt the staff were ok but not super courteous. Probably could do with some training. There should have been more amenities in the room.

Our stay at Flamingo was awesome. The staff and service were beyond exceptional. We stayed two more days than had planned for and Hotel staff was excellent in arranging our stay without any problem. The room was spotless and the Casino was great. Hotel is in the middle of all the action and within walking distance of all that Vegas has to offer. We will be staying at the Flamingo next time we visit.

Nice hotel in a nice location. would recommend it!!

Love the hotel and casino Rooms , furniture need an update! Great grounds!

I was scared to stay at this hotel, rumors of ned bugs, rude service, and location. Well i am a very blunt and detailed person so let me be the one to tell u that 5119 on the habitat side was amazing. They let me check in early and check out late. Everything was perfect. The lil strip outside that i never noticed leading to the big ferris wheel was nice (my 5th time in vegas best room so far)

Visited Vegas to be with family who were also visiting. Our rooms had been remodeled and were spacious, clean and comfortable with large windows overlooking the strip. Do bring extra food money, the cost in the restaurants and food court was high. The best food for your money is the buffet. The worst part is that the casino's still allow smoking. Plan on a lot of walking; just from the lobby to your room can be blocks. The Flamingo seems to be centrally located on the strip. Overall, we had a great time.

The people that worked at the Flamingo made the experience enjoyable. The room was OK and was a very good deal. For one of the older hotels the atmosphere was nice.

Our only complaint was the condition of our room. When we got to our room we noticed right away that the people before us had spilled something all over the floor and it was not mopped up. Also after using the bathroom noticed that there was a large dried bloody hand print on the bathroom door that was not taken care of.

Receptionist asked if I wanted to upgrade my room. I did, when I got to the "upgraded" room, the fixtures were broken, there was a Sharpie arrow on the lamp telling me which direction to turn the broken light. When the Chaise was pulled baby to charge phone, there was big dust bunnies, change, hangers and food wrappers. Obviously wasn't cleaned before we came in. There were candy wrappers between head board and mattress. Kind of scary no one cleaned the room. Hotel would not compensate since I went thru Orbitz. So I paid almost $200 a night for a filthy room.

Pros: - Check-in and check-out were fast since i did it through the machine. - Room rate was reasonable compare to other hotels on the strip. - Great location. -Comfortable bed. Cons: - Long line to get on to elevator especially around 11am when many people were about to check out and only 2 elevators were working. It took 45 min wait. - Interior looked so depressing, not really clean and desperately need a TLC. - NOISY...i can hear noise from next room people talking clearly & loud music from outside. - Resort fee ($32.63/night) does not include refrigerator (extra $15). - Free parking was a joke since it's open for public (everyone can park there) & a lot of spaces were reserved. No space was available and the only option was valet. If the room rate + tax and fee under $100/night i would stay here again but if it's more than $100/night....go and find other hotel. Overall, it was an OK experience since we mostly spent the time outside the hotel.

Great location right in the middle of the strip, it's easy to walk everywhere. Great restraunts, nice casino.

Ok ,beds mediocre, bathroom adequate, rooms spacious.

Room was great, the bathroom outdated but that didn't bother as long as it was clean for us. We we're on the 22nd floor and practically didn't hear any noise or anyone in the hall or next rooms bothering us. Hotel was nice too, its not one of those high end ones but it worked out perfectly for our budget. This hotel was practically in the middle of the strip and you had many interactions and places to go nearby like Bellagio fountains, Paris, High roller just behind our hotel. Ofcourse prices are higher than in outside cities, I payed for tall Starbucks latte around $5 and back at home its $3.25 so deffinetly you will be spending more money there than back at home.

For a lower-cost hotel in Vegas, it is a great location on the strip -- but don't expect much from the rooms. Although they look refurbished in photos, they are far from nice. Our first room had outlet covers missing and exposed wires hanging from the ceiling; plus no wifi and ants. After moving rooms, the wires and ants were fixed, but wifi is still very poor and the noise was terrible. I believe that when they refurbished they swapped carpeting for laminate floors leaving a huge gap at the bottom of the joining room doors. When the guys next store arrived at 3am it sounded like they were in our room. Rolled up a towel to try to muffle the sound.

Pleasant experience. No bad experiences with hotel or staff.

The room was always clean and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

If you are not a rich person/family, this is good place to stay. Hotel rooms are old but beds are comfortable, no fridge, no coffee maker, no microwave...however, it is not expensive, very convenient location, you can go to other tourist sites within minutes. I recommend it.

Our second stay at the Flamingo. We love the strip view, modern rooms and friendly staff!

The location was perfect for my needs. Staff was very accommodating. Room was a little run down, but seemed clean. Bed was fairly comfortable, but the pillows were awful. Price was reasonable and the garden out back was beautiful and peaceful. Overall I was happy with my stay.

The hotel is in a great location. We could see the fountain display from our room, since it was so cold outside. Great location!
