Bally's Las Vegas - Hotel & Casino

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Check in was horrible. Online check did not work. Only 2 front desk staff serving long line of about 20 guests. Need more staff! The 3 nights in Jubilee was nice. Everything new and clean, but loud music till 3:22am even on 67th floor with window closed. One nite in Indigo Towel was quiet, but carpet very worn out and furniture old. No coffee maker in Indigo Tower!

Good location but I didn't like that they charged fees that we were not aware of them before

Great spot for the elderly. Close enough to nearby casinos which was great for wheelchair access.

Very nice room but wish it had a coffee pot. That's my only complaint. It was a large comfortable and very clean room.

Me and my husband stayed at Ballys on April 28-30 2017. Long story short when we arrived Friday we showered and went straight to the strip. Only slept in the bed that day. On Saturday night around 10pm we came back to our room to rest for an hr so we sat in the little chairs that were in front of the window. After about an hr I got up to go to the restroom and I noticed my legs were itching extremely bad. I noticed my legs were red, swollen and appeared to be eaten with bites!!! I called the hotel manager and explained the situation. I did an incident report and was told that it would take 30 days to do an investigation and they would keep in contact. When we boarded the plane my husband noticed something crawling on his shirt and to our surprise it was a bed bug (which explains the bites) we ended up having to throw away all of our luggage and brand new clothing and shoes(still with the tags on them) in order to not bring them into the house. Now fast forward I recently spoke to the management at the hotel since no one bothered contacting me and was informed that they didn't have any findings or proof so there was nothing they could do. I was very appalled by the way the hotel handled it not only because they are just going to rent the room out to another person unaware of the circumstances but because I payed money for a nice establishment and they took no responsibility!!!! Which only goes to show they do not value their customers!!!

Pretty much the only thing I liked about the hotel was its location on the strip. It's mid-strip which makes it very convenient. The cleaning staff were friendly too. Other than that, I wouldn't really want to stay here again. The lady at Checkin wasn't the friendliest. She seemed like she really didn't want to be there. The beds were very uncomfortable, and the plumbing was extremely noisy. The shower had pressure issues and the toilet was really loud and made a very long noise after flushing as if it was struggling to get water. For the price, I definitely think I could've been more comfortable somewhere else as I've stayed at multiple hotels on the strip.

After a day of waiting in airport lines, rental car lines, the hotel check in line was a beating however they tried to cattle drive everyone through as quickly as possible which was appreciated. The guests could help by only having 1 person of their group join the line instead of their whole posse. Front desk staff were friendly & efficient, room was super nice, exactly what we we asked for, just like the picture on the web....We booked NON smoking and although our floor did not have a hint of cigarette smoke, our room did which was annoying. Beds were comfy, bathroom was nice too. Parking was $10 a day (thumbs down) but convenient if you like long walks through the hotel to the elevators. We enjoyed our visit & definitely would stay here again...Don't know if it's cheaper to book directly with the hotel or with Orbitz, in addition to my reservation, the hotel charged a hefty resort fee per night on top...erghhhh

The location was great and convenient but the hotel seem to be under staffed, long wait to check in and out, they only give an hour for late checkout. I would probably not stay here again but maybe would try one of there our total rewards hotels.

This place is no way near what a "resort" is supposed to be!! The rewards program is a joke! I spent close to a thousand dollars in the casino for 2 dollars worth of rewards. We play pool here every year but will NEVER stay here again.

We liked staying at Ballys. We were here to celebrate my 50th birthday. We had a lot of fun. Saw a show at Ballys that was extremely good. It was the Bronx Wanderers. I would highly recommend seeing them.

Couldn't ask for a better location on the Las Vegas Strip! The room was ok, as you can tell that it is in need of some updates. However, it was clean, which is what's important! Housekeeping caught me in the hallway one day, to see if I needed any cleaning. She was very helpful in cleaning my room and restocking the bathroom necessities. The self check-in is very nice and easy to use! I was able to check into my room quickly, and without having to stand in any long lines! I would definitely stay at this property again.

We were suprised with the size and condition of the room. The hotel has not received a major overhaul like some of the other resorts but is a good value for the price.

Toilet was busted and staff were very rude. Had a tough time changing rooms.

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT EXCEPT THE WAITING TO CHECK IN WAS TOO LONG, NOT ENOUGH STAFF UNFORTUNATELY; I WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK TO THE BALLY'S ON MY NEXT TRIP;

Very poor collection of places to eat. One of the worst cleaning of a room I've been at.

Big rooms. Easy way to the Bellagio. Reasonable center strip location.

SENDS EMAILS TO USE AUTOMATATED SYSTEM AND THEN IT DOESNT WORK/ NOT ENOUGH STAFF.

The time share representative was Rude, aggressive and had a attitude, when i told him i would come back later, we were approached directly after check in and wanted to get to our room. We were annoyed by him when he didn't want to take no for a answer! Resort fee way to expensive for what they provide.

Smoky in Hotel and casino; worse than most places. Just travelling from front to elevators the smoke was bad. No hot water for the entire 2 days

Security woke me up for no reason cause domeone on our floor was smoking weed. Thats bs
