Just returned from a 2 night tribute weekend at The savoy. On arrival we got a space in car park, and checked in straight away. I had booked a family and a double room which were on the 1st floor next door to each other. Both rooms had been cleaned to a high standard, with clean, white linen and towels provided. We booked the first sitting for evening meal (5.30pm) and found the food fresh and hot . It’s all buffet style with a choice of starter,3 main courses followed by a selection of sweets and a cheese board. There is also a machine for tea, coffee or hot chocolate. They provide jugs of iced water for each table. Breakfast was just as good, the only thing I would say maybe provide some pastries or croissants and fresh fruit for those who prefer a cold breakfast. We think this hotel is excellent value for money, yes it could do with some updating, but we were satisfied. All the staff were friendly towards us, I would like to say a special thank you to Craig and Sarah for making our stay.
Just spent a lovely weekend here staff were friendly and helpful room was lovely the food was great plenty of choice the entertainment johnny cash tribute was wonderful would definitely visit again thanks to national holidays and the hotel

Horrible state, both rooms were dirty, rubbish left under the bed like a milk carton, other guests a live were very disrespectful, bed sheets and pillow cases were all very dirty and the was a sticky residue on part of the one bedroom wall !!! Not impressed, wouldn’t recommend
My wife and I didn’t stay , we was about an hour away from arriving and they called me and transferred us to the norbreck castle Blackpool, so be careful booking because they overbook the hotel and then ship you out to their sister hotel , norbreck castle , which is a dirty stinking hell hole , check the reviews for it , keep away from both !!!!
We had room 210 and was clean, warm and plenty of room. We had plenty of coat hangers in the wardrobe though the room was a little to warm but our fault not able to turn it down The hotel buffet was fine was plenty of selection and if no one could find anything to suit them would be very fussy. Breakfast was excellent had enough choices and cooked well. Entertainment was good for both nights. We had 2 tribute night who where very entertaining Don’t know what the fuss was about we found everything to be very good and of a good standard. Maybe we just got a good room. Would certainly return (with the same room)
Booked hotel via booking.com. Had Dinner bed and breakfast with a family room for 2 adults and 2 children. Upon arrival first impressions were Wow! But not a good one! Hotel needs a complete refurbishment and some maintenance attended too. Wall paper hanging off walls and ceiling. Room itself was large however it felt like we were sleeping in a blizzard as the walls above be windows let in the wind! Beds were comfortable although some pillows were flat. We didn’t have enough towels in the room for the 4 of us. Food was ok and there was a good choice of starter, main and puddings. The evening meal was hot (we did have a booking for the first sitting time). Breakfast choice was limited and featured no continental as stated on the website. Hot food at breakfast was slightly over cooked and warm rather than hot. We stayed the night of 11th February and the bar and restaurant were playing Christmas songs on a continuous loop! Overall we will visit Blackpool but will never stay at this hotel again. Much rather a travel lodge or holiday inn!
Just awful thought the norbreck was bad. Rooms small got one with frosted glass. Bathroom smelly Tv didnt work Creaky floorboards Incredible hot Food awful microwaved crap Staff unfriendly dont care if u complain or not Real shame as its a beautiful building run by muppets. Played christmas music all afternoon in february no staff noticed.
The first room we were given was in the attic disgusting dirty . As to be moved and was given another room which looked slightly better but was not as it turned out . No towels in room went to reception to ask for some at 6.30 and didn’t get any until 9.30 . Found a pair of dirty pants down by the side of the wardrobe took 3 hours for them to be removed ( reported this when asked for towels ) . We were attending a function at the hotel or I would have gone home . Next morning looked at the room in day light and was completely disgusted with the cleaning of the room , thick dust in radiators and wall fan , coat hanger crisps and dust behind wardrobe , filthy bed mattress and topper feel sick I slept in it . Dirty bathroom see photos . I have stayed in hotels all over the world and this is the worst , will never stay there again .
I'm feeling sick just writing this review! This is the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in!!!!!! Look at the photo of the amount of hairs collected from the bed!!!! Absolutely disgusting! Along with some questionable marks on the bedding! The room was cold, the wind (its Blackpool, there's always wind) was so loud as the windows don't close tightly enough. The bed is hard and uncomfortable, the pillows are practically none existent. The wifi only works in the lounge, not in the rooms. The shower was caked in calcium and the shower dial wasn't even attached. The staff are RUDE, the hotel needs a hoover ALL over. The bathroom floor hasn't been cleaned since the hotel opened 100 years ago. The floorboards are about to give way very soon. No parking so had to park ages away! EW EW EW EW NEVER STAY HERE!!!! I don't have one good point about this hotel! The price may look inviting but trust me you're better off sleeping on the beach on a rusty deck chair!!!!
