No air conditioning in our room. Room was clean and spacious enjoyed the location on the beach and restaurant at the resort.

We were near the elevator and it can be noisy, voice's carries at different hours.
The floor on common area were super slippery. The cleaning staff do not put any effort in drying up the floor. Two members of our group fell, one of whom was seriously injured.
We were expecting an ocean front room and when we arrived they told us that was not guaranteed. And during our stay there was a crazy amount of construction going on during the day when I was hoping to relax while my toddler was napping. Also internet and Tv were difficult to use and the kitchen was minimally stocked.

There were the worst beds I’ve EVER slept in and I’ve traveled the world. Absolutely no support, totally horrendous for a week’s stay. We mentioned how terrible the beds are and management’s only solution was egg crate - which do nothing for support or firmness. The restaurant was very low quality, hardly anything fresh or appetizing - just bad bae food. Would never return and never recommend
Good place if you can make your own fun. Grills often don’t work, parking a bit tight.

Arrived at 9:00 p.m. to check in. Booked the reservation through Orbitz and was not notified that the elevator in our building was under scheduled repair and we would have to hike 7 flights to our room. While unpleasant it shouldn't be a deal-breaker however our party included a young girl with late stage cancer in her hip that made walking, not to mention climbing seven flights of stairs difficult. I was told if I had notified them earlier they could have switched our rooms. Impossible since I had not been made aware that the elevator was out. We were left with no option but to assist her up. To top that off the sign on the desk said that they would happily assist us with our luggage. The poor young lady manning the desk called every staff person she could and they all refused to help her. the bellman had gone home early and the one man on staff was due to go off shift in 10 minutes and claimed to have a bad back. I guilted him into assisting us but he was not happy. I talked with the manager the next day and he comped our resort fee and apologized but he was not sincere. The view was amazing but the condo was shabby and out of date and had sugar ants in the kitchen.
We were disappointed in the beach access from the hotel--there is hardly any beach left in front of the hotel. Why would the management wait so long to address this issue? Also not sure why there was a resort fee--it came as a bit of a surprise.
Upon arriving at approx 12am Hawaii time, I paid extra fees in cash and then was refused check-in. I was with my 11 year old son and we had nowhere else to stay that night. I was able to check in the next morning, check the fees again and got the key. Upon going to our room, we were told the elevator was broken and would be fixed in an hour. I had a half cast on my knee so going up 5 flights of stairs was almost impossible and ruined our trip. Everyday I was promised the elevator would be fixed and it wasn't. Upon check out, the elevator was still not working.
Great shows food and service all day or nite close to the beach and shopping areas the staff there was always helpful

Aloha, D. We are disappointed we fell short of expectations and apologize for any discomfort you experienced. We are also sorry for the breach of your guest room by some of our island inhabitants. Our robust pest control service is typically very effective at keeping unwanted visitors outside where they belong.
Thank you for your visit and feedback. As much as we'd like all our guests to experience the ocean views, we cannot guarantee the availability of these very popular rooms and are obliged to assign rooms at check-in. We do our best to accommodate specific room requests, and are happy to oblige if we have the occupancy, but these guest units become available infrequently during the height of whale watching season from November-April. We are sorry for the disappointment.
