Great location and grounds. Our oceanfront room with a balcony had a small kitchenette with sink, microwave, "dorm fridge," utensils, plates, etc. which really came in handy. Views were spectacular. Pool is spectacular. Starbucks by the pool is spectacular. Proximity to Whaler's Village is a bonus. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Reservation booking combined two parts. This meant checking out after 1st night and waiting 6 hours to chec in for 2nd two nights. This was not in the best interest of the guests.

I didn’t like not having room service. Plus the vacation club sale reps calling us.

Nice stay; way too many guests. That's all I have to say; please don't push people in you survey.

Great location, Food was good and friendly staff. Had a variety of activities. Towels easily available. Room cleaned very well each day.

Had two hotel rooms for two nights prior to moving into a timeshare condo in same complex. One room in Napili and one room in Lahaina Towers. Both studios. Gorgeous rooms and great views! Have walked the length of the board walk and this hotel has the prettiest grounds.

Awesome location and facilities. But forces you to get the suite. The studios are useless so forcibly expensive

This facility has all the amenities of a hotel with all the necessities of home. Full kitchen, washer/dryer, dining room table, spacious, with a nice view. Comfortably fit myself and 3 teens into the room with room to spare. Quite inside but lots of activities on property. The kids want to stay at a hotel like this again.

The beach is rocky in front of the hotel. About 10 mins walk to Whaler's village shopping center and the beach where you can swim. No room service/ can not order food or breakfast to your room. Great swimming pools, specially for kids.

Vacationing in Maui during October was a great choice; not many people in the hotel or on the beach! Hotel Pros: - Housekeeping service was excellent (though they come early, so put the DND sign on the door). - Pools were gorgeous; huge lawn areas had a ton of chairs to lounge in. Hammocks were spread across the grounds. - There's a great walking path between all the hotels, restaurants, and shops in Kaanapali so that was nice. - Location was great and convenient to Lahaina where all the activities are. Hotel Cons: - Expect to valet park for $12/day (if you choose self-parking for $8/day you may have to park on the other side of the complex) - Prices were expensive in the restaurants and convenient stores so be prepared. - There's a nice beach, but it's fairly small; it was fine in October but might be packed in summer. Overall Maui was a great experience - while on the island make sure you do a helicopter tour (Blue Hawaiian recommended) and parasailing. Also, do the drive to Hana (northern road) and be warned that the southern road back from Hana is more for a 4x4 (though our Sebring powered through it! LOL)

This place is expensive, but worth it to be right on the beach. It's a timeshare, so don't expect full maid service every day, but the amenities are great and the people at the concierge desk/welcome desks are very helpful.

most of the staff friendly. at check in we wanted to upgrade to a oceanview room and they would not let us. beach was rocky, i would have went a few hotels down to the sheraton better beach and closer walking distance to stores

I enjoyed the stay. The room was very spacious, comfy and clean. However, the balcony(outdoor and sealed) had a no smoking policy.....funny. The view on the balcony was next to none because the palms were right in the way.

Great oceanfront suite, great resort amenities, lots of restaurants nearby, lots of water activities.

Great hotel and good value for the money!

It was very good. but parking was very expensive.

amazing!

This hotel was amazing! Great location and the staff was super friendly and was willing to help us with everything from dinner reservations to setting up whale watching/snorkeling tours.

Fabulous resort - lots of pools, friendly for all ages, clean rooms, beach front access, i could go on and on. We stayed in the new Napili villas, in a one room (1 king plus sofa bed) with kitchenette. We received daily maid service, even though it was not requested. The building had good security, which i appreciated. The Napili Villas had their own parking structure (quite small), pool, jacuzzi, pool bar (not open everyday), and activities center (fee). The entire resort is beach front, and we enjoyed that as well as the pools. The main pool had a volleyball net, basketball net, and awesome slide (not just for kids!). It was not crowded at all, and we never had to wait for a lounge chair, time at a machine at the gym, etc. Would recommend this hotel for people of all ages. Also a nice benefit is the ability to see whales during the season (dec-april), from the hotel. They came in very close! The resort is right by the Whaler's Village (about 5 min walk). Lahaina is just a ten min drive away. Dining options are good there, although fairly crowded. If you're looking for a laid back resort in North West Maui, you can't go wrong with the Marriott.
