Great place for families. The different pools make it so that not one pool gets overly crowded. I loved that there was resort amenities like an onsite restaurant, valet parking, concierge, etc. The location is on a great beach. Views are wonderful from the rooms.

It was okay overall. Personnel wasn’t very friendly

I had a property development view but irrespective of that I had excellent mountain view from the patio. The staff was nice and the property was well maintained and clean. Concierge and front desk were very helpful. There were no events for guests and kids like other resorts do, but irrespective of that, this is one of the best places to stay and relax near the Kaanapali beach area with easy beach access, nice restaurants and nice pools. The hot tubs are a bit too close to the kids pool, something to be careful about if your kid runs over and tries to jump in the hot tub like my kid does. Maybe they can add some barriers in between if they wish to improve the safety. The spa is nice. Common area restrooms are in convenient locations but they don’t have changing desks for babies. The best thing about this resort is it’s location, the beach in the rear is nice and sandy.

Had called for house keeping to bring extra room towels for room only. Didn’t get a response. Disappointed you had to pay extra for the Cabanas at the pool side. Thought the original price I paid would allow customers to use them without paying extra.

The resort was beautiful! The staff was nice and helpfully, and the valet parking was appreciated! The only thing that I did not like was having only one restaurant onsite, the first night my family and I were tired from traveling and wanted to grab a quick bite before going to bed only to find out that the wait at Dukes ( the only restaurant within walking distance) had over an hour wait time! Needless to say we all were upset and ended up eating cereal in our room. I wish here were more sit down options for breakfast/lunch/dinner.

We stayed for 3 days. The checkin was a breeze, the rooms were clean and spacious. Kids enjoyed the stay

Loved the layout of the room. The view was amazing beside the construction. Wish orbitz would have disclosed that the property was under construction before booking .

Very nice room with lots of amenities, great location.

Best trip ever!! Everything about the Resort was incredible!

Lots of children. Property not advertised as a familu destination .

The property was well maintained, and clean at all times. Very high quality.

Loved the beautiful beach access from the hotel. Dukes restaurant was great for any meal.

The view was fantastic! The pool and beach are great!

This is my third stay at Honua Kai. The condos are imaculate and have fully loaded kitchens with laundry. Great for travel with family. Direct beach acess, wonderful 24 hour fitness center. I would suggest an earlier check in time. Traveling with children it is hard to check in past 2 pm (4 pm is WAY to late). Also check out is a little early for a check in at 4 pm. Checking out at 11 am. I suggest they move check in to at least 2 pm and check out to 12.
