Loved that the rooms had kitchenettes so we could cook our own meals and the little grocery store in the hotel was so convenient and had a great variety of healthy and unique foods.

The room service was every other day. The service was done only twice. Had no washcloths and toiletries every time.

The property is like it's own mini-town, but close to anything you could want as well. There's multiple pools which are only steps from the ocean. There is a market onsite with necessities, food, and a full coffee shop. Out near the pools, they have a stand for beach/pool supplies & an awesome restaurant. The condo style of the resort was particularly great as I traveled with my spouse & toddler. It made a different in ease of travel to have a full kitchen & washer/dryer. I would definitely recommend & would happily stay again.

A “Resort View” is of the canopy over the entry driveway and if the parking lot. Tried to get a proper “Resort View”, but that was not available. Those are called “Partial Ocean View”, because if you stand in the balcony just right...... The beach is not swimmable, although it is advertised as such. The only food choice on the campus is Duke’s, which is really good, but pricey and impossible to eat at if you do not have dinner reservations. The full kitchen positive was greatly outweighed by the remaining negatives. In short, we will look elsewhere for our next trip.

The entire stay was very pleasant and comfortable!! Great service and amenities

The property was nice, clean, well taken care of. Loved the open air concept of the lobby and in the rooms. You could open the glass doors in the room and replace it with a screen to keep the bugs out (what little bugs there are) and let the fresh air in. The beach although narrow was very well kept, clean and just a short walk from the rooms. Fantastic view of the sunset and other islands right off the beach. Pretty decent snorkeling right off the beach gets better the farther out you go. The pools were clean, popular but there was plenty of chairs to go around. The “adult pool” was quieter but not really maintained for the adults only. Kids would come running through to climb down the waterfall to the lower pools, which was not a huge deal but just something small. The rooms were very nice clean, all the appliances worked in the kitchen, bathrooms are huge excellent water pressure, nice hot water, deep comfortable soaking tub, and plenty of towels. The bedrooms were comfortable with easy access onto the lanai. Pillows and mattress were very comfortable after a long day on the beach or on one of the excursions. The one and only problem I have with the property is the lack of first aid kits near the pool and beach area. I had cut my foot on the reef (very sharp btw) and went to the beach shack and was told to go to the front desk and then finally sent to the security office all to just to get a bandage. Pretty long walk with a bleeding foot. Highly recommend this hotel.

Roaches comes out at night. Pools were great. The beach by the property was very small and narrow.

Pools and Spa were excellent. Patios also nice. The general store was exepnsive, but very handy!

This place was awesome. We had a two bedroom unit and it was spacious with large lanai. The property had 4 pools that included a lazy river and water slide. If you didn"t want the pool, you could walk another 20 ft and hit the beach. It was a nice beach with good snorkeling. Honua Kai also had Duke's right in the middle of the pool area. You could order right from the chaise lounge or sit down in the restaurant. Would definitely stay here again

Liked: Beautiful setting and location. Nice, modern rooms and room amenities. Duke's restaurant on-site is very good food. Close (<15 mins) to many other restaurants and shops. Visit Front Street shops! Disliked: No room service. Housekeeping services are only every other day.

I liked everything about the resort. Location, comfort and the about of space and amenities inside the room was excellent
