Pros: Staff was courteous and hotel was in a great location (part of the beach walk). Daily complimentary coffee was great. property was well kept and beautifully landscaped. Fully loaded gym. Cons: Fridge in room leaked. No daily room cleaning. No room service. Whenever someone directly above us used a sink or the toilet our pipes made a loud rattling noise that woke us up several times overnight. No vending machines. No outside seating, we had a Juliet balcony, standing only.

We had a one-bedroom condo with two king beds, full kitchen, living area, dining area with floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides. Spectacular. Very clean and comfortable. Pool was great! Beach was awesome!

Such a great place to stay! We had stayed at a different nearby location on our prior trips, but MKV was such a pleasant surprise! Free coffee and tea from 6-10 am, great lobby area, pool towel exchange any time you need it, free Kaanapali Trolley to Whalers Village, beautiful grounds, clean heated pools and hot tubs, ocean just steps away from the room, Castaway Cafe restaurant. Leeann at the front desk was wonderful! Thank you for an amazing stay.

Have stayed at other properties on Kaanapali beach but the Maui villas were by far the best. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The Castaway cafe on site was delicious. Located on a beautiful stretch of beach and so convenient to other resorts by way of the beachwalk path. Will definitely return!

Property was great. There is nowhere to hang wet bathing suits! This is a common problem at hotels. But a big pain for a family of 4 using swimsuits every day! There was plenty of room in the bathroom for a rack or a clothesline, but none provided.

This was our second visit in 2.5 years to MKV. We returned because of the calm atmosphere that allows our family of four (2 teenagers) to truly relax and enjoy an ideal Hawaiian vacation. Nearby we can walk to more densely packed attractions, but MKV is like an oasis of Hawaiian charm. We were delighted to work with Captain Chuck for our cabana and snorkel rentals, he exemplifies hospitality and helpful service at every interaction. We appreciate all the insights he shares and his stories, it makes us feel apart of the community even though years pass between visits. My husband and kids took his recommendation for surf lessons and loved it! Next time we’ll have to pursue sailing lessons!! We love being able to grab our morning coffee in the common area and whale watch at the lawn’s edge while deciding our plans for the day. Joe, at the front desk, was a delight and constant joyful host. We brought additional family with us this year and look forward to returning again in the future. Mahalo MKV staff, you really have a special place.

Our 1 bedroom premium suite had everything that we needed to cook in the comfort of the room, it was very spacious, super clean, had all the stuff that we needed to take showers,the view from our room was amazing! The front desk was super nice, specially Juveeh, she went above and beyond for us. The outside of the hotel was super green, all the garden areas were super nice! They also had fresh coffee and tea in the mornings. They had several different board games to check out. Everything was just awesome!

Our stay was fantastic! Our room had easy access to the pool and parking was close to our room. The room was equipped with everything we needed. The beach was stunning. Would stay here again!
