We arrived later in the evening, and the front desk staff were absolutely wonderful—very kind, welcoming, and efficient. Check-in was quick and easy. Once we got to our room, we were pleasantly surprised by the size and layout. It felt very homey, with a small kitchen area, cozy living room, and separate bedroom, which was great since my husband tends to stay up later than I do. As someone who always does a detailed check of the room, I noticed a few maintenance issues—a stain on one of the pillowcases and curtains, a cracked compartment inside the refrigerator, and a broken light fixture above the bed. These are small things that most guests might overlook, but they stood out to me. Overall, the room was comfortable, quiet, and provided a restful night’s sleep. The only thing we didn’t love were the feather-down pillows, which flattened quickly and lacked support. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic. There was a wide variety of fresh, hot options—something for everyone. As someone visiting the Mayo Clinic with dietary restrictions, I truly appreciated having choices that worked for me, while my husband also found plenty to enjoy. In summary, the staff and breakfast were excellent, and though the room could use a few maintenance touch-ups, we had a very pleasant and relaxing stay.

We arrived at 2:30 pm to see if we could be checked in early. The gentleman at the desk was nice but noticeably worried/frazzled. He told us that there werent any rooms available yet, he was talking to maintenance and housekeeping. He tried to work through the issue for roughly 40 min. More families came in and he finally was told by maintenance that he could use the rooms.We were sent to 102, the room was empty of people, but had not yet been cleaned and was still needing maintenance to finish doing their bath tub project. We went back to the lobby and ended up waiting until 5:17ish to be checked into that same room. The room was ok, but we could tell that the quality standard for maintenance given to the bath tub project was low. The front desk staff was very nice, but the quality we have come to know amd love from Hilton properies was not there. Having to wait for 2.5 hours after check in after a long day was too much.
