There were people being very loud in the hall and in the room across the hall from us that night. They were laughing very loud and talking loudly. People were coming and going from the room constantly and slamming the door. I reached out to the front desk three times between 10 PM and midnight and nothing was done. I had to leave my room at about 12:15 AM to talk to these people on my own. It was very stressful. I complained the next morning and The hotel would only give me a 10% discount because I used Expedia. I am seeking more compensation for this awful experience.

The room was not attended to during my stay, the bathroom towels were not changed, nor were the sheets on both beds. Understandably, the hotel is under construction, but for the price, the sheets and towels could have been changed.

The price was reasonable, but when we checked in, we realized why. The lobby was getting renovated, so we were nervous that we might get woken up by noise. Luckily, they gave us a room very far away from the lobby - kind of a long walk, but we were grateful to be able to sleep. We checked the hotel bar prices - $12 for a glass of wine I can buy a bottle of for $6; not a good look. I get it, hotels and airports raise their prices for no reason, but you're essentially selling Barefoot wine for $12. They also didn't have any place to buy amenities which made it difficult to get a few things because it's definitely not a walkable area. No worries, we stopped off at the grocery store - but when we needed water at the end of the night, they only could offer us 2 tiny bottles because "that's all they had". The staff was very friendly. It was only a 6 min Uber to the Florida Theatre. I don't think I would stay here again.

We had a very pleasant stay at Southbank Hotel by Marriott. Overall, everything was great from check-in to check-out. The staff was welcoming and professional, the room was clean and comfortable, and the entire property felt well maintained. The location is convenient, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The only small suggestion would be that the towels could be a bit newer, but that didn’t take away from the experience. Everything else was excellent, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend

Room was ok. Parking was not clearly marked and there was a McDonald’s French fry on the floor in front of our room for the duration of our stay. We didn’t put it there, and legend says it’s still there to this day.
