Leaking and improper functioning shower/tub faucet. Refrigerator and microwave outlets are wired to a switch at the vanity. Found a used vape apparatus upon entering the room. CONSTANT smell of weed in the hallway! We've stayed here A LOT in the past, but not anymore!!

Room spacious. Bathroom-a little dirty, shower leaked on the floor, caulk around shower floor etc., gone probably due to leak. 3 doors-no real weather stripping and gaps, lots of cold air coming through all. Front door-maintenance person just pushed in coming into room without us sayi g to come in TV- only about 10 channels worked, rested fuzzy or non existent Fire place worked on a 1 hour time and really did warm room. Heat could barely keep room warm due to the space and cold air coming around the 2 doors. Door between rooms only held closed by a flimsy lock that if pushed hard would probably come off wall. People on other side tried knob numerous times during the night. Shower took forever for hot water to start. Curtains over heating unit so had to tie up to get some heat into the room. Outside stairs and walk areas need alot of care. Swimming pool not heated and very nasty. Only 1 coffee packet given. Had to walk outside in the cold to office to get extra cups of coffee.

The elevator was not working. The floor is tiled, very cold. Cold / Hold water shower mixture is horrible, either hot water or cold water comes. Overall it was a terrible experience.

Everything about this place was horrible , terrible service had to wait over an hour and a half after check in time for our room , then our first room was dirty with bugs and had a bad smell , we asked for a different room and that had mold . ( we had to check out and find a new hotel ) we still have no revived a refund from Hotels.com

We chose this hotel due to being pet friendly but beware that your room will smell like every pet before. The room was not clean and I understand it is a pet room but the floor left my feet black. I did get to see a bear while there and they do have a dog walk area so those are the pluses.

I've stayed at many hotels and motels in Gatlinburg and this place was bad. To start, you pull up to the hotel, check in, and are given a map and told to drive to the location marked on the map. Drive down the road, turn up the hill and try to find a place to park. The correct building has a small sign that says something like"Hilltop". A crowd of people were wandering the parking lot also trying to find the right building and their room. Cleaning crew advised us that elevator wasn't working. The room was pretty dated, looked neglected and furnishings were severely used. The shower curtain was barely hanging on. The towels were super rough. The back door handle had a large screw holding the handle on and it looked like the upper locks were pulled out of the wall. Balcony area was covered in leaves and also dirty. An old hog wire fence and post are laying on the ground 4 feet way. Vending is on the 2nd floor, machine wouldn't accept $5 bills, found change and machine dispensed wrong item. It is pet friendly but dogs barked until late, some were on the balconies barking at approaching guests. Carpet had been used as a pet toilet and hallway smelled. Continental breakfast was off property at the lobby. Just an overall rough place. Dirty and worn down, inside and out. I would not be comfortable with my wife or daughter staying here alone. Definitely better places to stay for $138/night.

The bathroom floor was dirty. There was only one washcloth! The elevators were out of order and have been for months! Variety of breakfast choices was weak! Beds were comfortable.

The lady when she checked us in our room explained it was at an adjacent location, but was still a part of the property- what she failed to mention was the elevator was not working and you would have to either walk a very steep hill or drive. If we were going to have to drive up and down the hill, we should have stayed at another location.
