I've stayed at many hotels and motels in Gatlinburg and this place was bad. To start, you pull up to the hotel, check in, and are given a map and told to drive to the location marked on the map. Drive down the road, turn up the hill and try to find a place to park. The correct building has a small sign that says something like"Hilltop". A crowd of people were wandering the parking lot also trying to find the right building and their room. Cleaning crew advised us that elevator wasn't working. The room was pretty dated, looked neglected and furnishings were severely used. The shower curtain was barely hanging on. The towels were super rough. The back door handle had a large screw holding the handle on and it looked like the upper locks were pulled out of the wall. Balcony area was covered in leaves and also dirty. An old hog wire fence and post are laying on the ground 4 feet way. Vending is on the 2nd floor, machine wouldn't accept $5 bills, found change and machine dispensed wrong item. It is pet friendly but dogs barked until late, some were on the balconies barking at approaching guests. Carpet had been used as a pet toilet and hallway smelled. Continental breakfast was off property at the lobby. Just an overall rough place. Dirty and worn down, inside and out. I would not be comfortable with my wife or daughter staying here alone. Definitely better places to stay for $138/night.

During check in, our room 372 was alloted to a different building and was tip of a hill. We parked the car near the office and was very difficult to carry all the luggage from office to hill top room number 372. Room was very dirty, flash in the bathroom was not working, light is very dimmed, So we requested to change the room and receptionsit offered to change the room next day on 8th Nov Saturday after 3 PM and they did not mention anything that we need to check out before 11 am on 8th Nov Saturday. You can see the conversation the recorded camera if you want. In the afternoon we visited the room 372, we were surprised that all our luggage and stuff were removed from the room and were about to trash. This is not acceptable to enter the room and removed the luggage and items without permission. the cleaning staff was not able to communicate whats is happening. We back and forth many times from hill top room 372 to office to understand what is happening. Finally they allocated room 225 for the second day. The room condition is very poor and very dirty, bathroom flash was not working, bed cover and duver were not cleaned properly. floor was filled with dust.

Staff was friendly. Room wasn't bad. Some things needed touched up or replaced like the paint in the bathroom and the shower curtain rod. The wifi however, didn't work for us. I'm guessing because our room was right next to the hillside. The free continental breakfast was good. There was plenty to choose from. Waffles, bagels, toast, scrambled eggs, sausage links, sauteed peppers & onions, roasted potatoes, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, apples, cereal, juice and milk. We liked the balcony that overlooked the creek. Our room also had a fireplace. It's right on the strip so everything was easy to get to. It is located towards the end of the strip. It sits behind Howards restaurant.

I had a terrible experience at Quality Inn Creekside - Downtown Gatlinburg. • The room was in poor condition and lacked basic cleanliness. • Staff service was unprofessional and unresponsive. • Shockingly, the hotel checked me out without informing me and removed all my belongings from the room. This is completely unacceptable and shows a total disregard for guest safety and respect. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reliable or respectful stay in Gatlinburg.

Really odd hotel room. It was $169 for the night. We had no toilet paper but for some reason had 4 bags of decaf coffee? The bathroom fixtures were upgraded but the table and chairs looked like they were taken in off the side of the road.. then there was a really worn out ironing board in the room? It worked for the night as we weren’t planning on staying anyways but if it were where I booked my vacation I’d be disappointed for the price.

The room was horrible. The sink, shower and toilet all leaked. The shower curtain rod was broken so every time you showered the floor would get soaked. There was mold in the bathroom due to the leaks. There were cobwebs in two of the corners that obviously had been there for a while. I would not recommend this hotel.

Amazing location, our view was amazing and the location was great for quick breakfast and then right onto parkwat. On arrival, great clean room. Floor under couch was not swept, couch was plentifully stained with mystery stains, toilet paper roll was not replaced and was half used up - luckily I bring my own lol. But, thats really all there was. Still a great hotel room for a convenient place to spend a week. We got the king bed top story.

The rooms are bare minimum. Clean but old. The restroom was freezing. The caulking around the floor was all cracked and half missing. Even cleaned it looked dirty. No hair dryer offered. Could have been much nicer with no a lot of effort. We had a balcony which was nice except for the giant bright light in the ceiling, would have great if we could have turned it off. In our unit both elevators did not work.. Both? That meant everything we traveled with had to be cared up the stairs. That really was hard to do. Warming! Warning! Now if you want to see bears they came everyday. The poor things are conditioned to come for food. Do not leave food in your car, trash outside of your room and for the love of God don't feed them. They will eventually be relocated and if that doesn't work they will be destroyed. I don't think visitors realize that. It is a pet friendly place so please think about them being out there when you take your pups out for a walk. The location of the hotel was almost to the last stop on your way out light towards Cherokee just to give you idea of how far it's from the town center.

We booked a Premium Room with Creek View, A Balcony and a Fireplace. We got a very basic room instead of a Premium Room with not even a a means to hang our Winter Jackets. Everything was spilling onto the floor from our suitcases. Upon complaining, we got transferred to a room which had a Fireplace but the Firplace wasn't working-its knob was broken. This room was in the Hilltop Building with had a very steep driveway and it beat the whole purpose of booking a Hotel downtown as going up and down this Steep Hill with a Wheelchair is next to impossible. So the location was useless, the Fireplace did not work and they refused to refund even though it did not meet the criteria of what we had booked.

Awful. Absolutely disgusting room. I didn't even stay because of how dirty the room was. Upon checking into the room, it stunk like moldy air conditioning. It had clearly not been vacuumed or mopped because there were muddy spots and dog food on the floor. There were dead bugs along the floorboards, and hair on all of the sheets. You could lift up the sheets and see dog hair and human hair, which indicates that the sheets had not even been changed. We complained, and we're assured that the room would be cleaned right away. We came back in an hour, and no one had been by. We checked out because it was so disgusting. Absolutely zero Stars, avoid this place like the plague.

Got pictures of the two rooms we were placed in, but they hardly do this mess justice. Absolutely atrocious. Floors torn up, stuff hanging off the walls, bugs everywhere, mold growing in the lampshades, curtains falling off. One room the receptacle plate was missing, lets hope no ones children get shocked/electrocuted. Fireplace did not work. Lights outside of bathroom didn't work. Room 134 the door wouldnt even shut fully, comforters were stained and disgusting, smoke detectors were falling off the wall. Room 240 was trashed and had wet towels on the bed when we were given keys. When addressed, staff was rude. We definitely feel completely robbed, and will not recommend this place. The only remotely alright thing about this hotel, was the location. Definitely expected A LOT more from a Quality Inn. My wife or I would love to speak about experience with someone, but we were told the manager wouldn't be around, and the number given to us was bad. Driving cross country to have this stain our vacation right away was definitely a huge let down. 0/10
One of over 10-15 that had to be thrown out before my wife would sleep in here.
This is not nearly a good enough picture, I asked my wife too and she only got the one bed, the other was filthy and still had a wet towel on it, and an overflowing trashcan
More bugs beneath the safe, all over the ac unit, and curtains.
