The rooms are amazing . The front desk professional and exceeded my expectations. The service at the restaurant “lookout” wonderful. The food at the “lookout” spectacular

The location is about 1 mile from Beale street, right on the riverfront, so it makes it a quiet area. The hotel and store are very safe and cops are sitting in the parking lot monitoring activities. Teens do ride the Scooters in the parking lot. The safe were so nice. They provide cookies for bed time, and they were so good, we called down and asked for more and they didn't mind sending more our way. I would 100% stay here again. The rooms are very dark, there are no external windows in your room, but it does make it peaceful and relaxing.

It was really nice. More than I imagined. For the money you spend, you really get a lot!

I would say the only drawback is no pool, but an in-room jacuzzi/bath tub is excellent and all the other plusses at this hotel such is excellent staff and amenities far make up for that.

The rooms are wonderful & we never had to leave the hotel or Bass Pro & the sweet treats left for us for our Anniversary was to sweet

Hotel was nice and room was cozy but overall, I feel it was way overpriced. We paid for the king deluxe room with the jetted tub but was unable to use it. We tried to use and black stuff came out of the jets. We thought maybe it was because it hadn't been used in a while so we ran it a few minutes, drained the tub and tried again and more black stuff came out again, It was late so we didn't call the desk. About an hour after we went to bed, we were awakened by a noise that sounded like someone vacuuming at the door but my husband figured out the jets had kicked on in the tub and it was sucking air since no water was in it. At check out, we tried to tell the clerk and she interrupted us and said "yes, we know, we have been having trouble with that because the jets don't get used often enough." She offered no apology and acted like we were stupid for not knowing that. I told her that is what we thought but felt they needed to be aware of the issue and check on the tub since it had come on automatically in the middle of the night. They advertise that passes for the elevator to the top of the pyramid are "complimentary" but when I questioned some fees on the bill she told me that is what the $20 per day resort fee covers. It was a neat experience for the most part but we will not return

Excellent place to stay. Friendly people and warm cookies at night.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. We had a great stay and the view from the top of the pyramid looking over the Mississippi River was in the evening was amazing.

Far exceeded my expectations. Very high quality and luxurious cabin style rooms.

We were traveling with our niece who was in a wheelchair, everyone was very helpful.

This was our second stay at Big Cypress Lodge and also this time everything was more than perfect. We really love this Hotel. Fantastic experience.

Gimmicky place. You’re spending the night at a retail store folks, plain and simple. Hostess at the rooftop restaurant was rude as hell, clearly wanted us to just leave her alone when we asked about getting a table. Claimed they were “booked” meanwhile the place was empty. One of the waiters was very friendly and got us seated. We requested a roll-a-way bed which they never brought yet tried to charge me $20 extra for anyway. Front desk girl didn’t even apologize for it and acted pissed that I dared to ask her to take it off. A separate $20 “resort fee”? For what? A dinky bowling alley? What “resort” has no pool? Why $20 extra to park in your mostly empty lot when I’m STAYING at your hotel? Never seen a separate fee just to park outside a hotel where I’m staying. Not even a parking deck. Empty lot. Lots and gimmicks and nickel and diming here, no thanks. There are much better (and less expensive) options nearby in downtown Memphis. I do highly recommend sister property Big Cedar is Branson. Actual resort and the service is worlds better.

This hotel was a unique experience. The rooms are amazing!! If you’re a lover of all things outdoors, you will love this place!!
