Convenient location and very clean. Friendly staff and quick service
Very clean and friendly staffs. Great continental breakfast. Heater/AC buttons not working. Notified front desk.
It was a good experience. I enjoyed this site. The bed was comfortable.
Was in the handicap room for some reason. That was not a queen bed.
Eric and Leveda were wonderful hosts. They made me feel at home!! Humorous and told me were the BEST BBQ place was. They made my stay extra!!
The morning breakfast was excellent. Very convenient for nearby restaurants and stores. Close to the freeway
THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. THE PEOPLE WHO WORKED THERE WERE VERY NICE. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS!
I came from Germany for a familial occasion and visited this hotel for the second time. This alone underlines my smpathy for this inn. Jeremy was at the front desk and was extremely helpful and polite. The room is good, spacy enough but the passing noise of trains vexed me, because I can't understand why trains must do so while passing through built up areas. The bed was also good and I think the sheets were not synthetic bur rather cotton tissue, which I like and prefer. The breakfast was very American (what else?) I'd prefer whole bread (or Begel) and not so soft, the joghurt was too sweet, the walnuts were great as was the orange juice and (even) the coffee - hmmm. Sitting for breakfast is most uncomfortable. The tables are too high the chairs too low. Printing my boarding ticket was unproblematic. I missed Jeremy when I left the hotel after three nights.
I've never stayed at an inn before so I wasn't sure what to expect. The room is quite standard (mine was a queen room, non-smoking) and it's kept clean. The most memorable part of my stay was the staff. They offer complimentary water and toiletries upon request at the front desk. The inn is a convenient location - right by the 240. You're minutes away from downtown. Breakfast is limited to eggs, pork, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruits and waffles. I recommend Blue Plate down the street for a hearty southern breakfast. I was on an extended business trip for several weeks and the Hampton Inn on Poplar began to feel like home to me. You're greeted warmly and requests are accommodated in a timely manner. The entire staff is polite - from security, room service, etc. Janice and Jonathan were my go-to front desk clerks. Their customer service skills are stellar.
The hotel was extremely clean and the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. I would recommend this to other travelers. It was close to local restaurants as well.
Overall experience was very good. Friendly staff, clean room Will return.
Nice hotel, nice room set up well for business. Only complaint would be that the included internet is a bit slow...you need to upgrade to get better speed. But it was clean, nice and the staff was great....complimentary breakfast was solid.
Nice. Beds were comfortable. It was clean and everyone was friendly. would stay there again.
All you heard through out the night was the train so that was a con. The hotel was clean and nice.
Our stay was pleasant. The rooms were clean and comfortable as always. The breakfast was delicious and I appreciated the variety. The only complaint is that the rooms were small.
It's in the better section of town... Not the best of anything, but there are a lot worse options in Memphis. Good for business travel.
Commute to/from the office was very short and an easy drive. Staff very friendly and helpful. There's a couple of trains that can be heard if you are a light sleeper. I was told by a co-worker if you ask they will put you on the other side of the building away from the train noise and you don't hear a thing. I would stay again.
I thought that the hotel was great, the staff welcomed us with a big smile. The room was nice and clean and sleeping on the beds felt like heaven. We utilize their complementary breaks and workout room with were all great.
