The room was very small - hardly room to move around. The closet was essentially a frame built of 2x4s with a hanging bar. We could not get the microwave to plug in. The carpet was stained & not well vacuumed. And it had a not-so-pleasant smell.

The property is run down. Needs a major remodel. Lights don't all come on in the elevator. Carpet pulling up in places. Our room had a sock left from a previous occupant in the bathroom. Also a stain on the bathroom door. The light fixture on the desk had something on it. And the desk chair also had a white stain on it. The beds had sheets that didn't quite fit on the corners. But the most concerning was the lock on the door to stop people from breaking it was loose and the door looked like it had been broken in before. Since we stayed only 2 nights and it was pretty busy when we checked in we didn't complain to the staff. As it looked like most of the property just needed an overhaul we didn't think they could do anything to make it a fresher experience anyway.

The outside of the hotel looked fine but the inside was terrible. Our sink did not drain. The room and bathroom were very small. The microwave was on a broken shelf so it was not useable. There were holes in the walls and just very dingy, even the lamp bases were rusted. Our friends that stayed there also, did not even have a shower that worked…and nothing was done about it! We paid $200 per night for that! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy! When we told the desk clerk as we were leaving, he just smiled and said we’re in the process of remodeling…no apology at all.
