Location is good staff were a little bit to resist

There were only 2 towels in our room and when I inquired about getting another one I was informed that there was not any available. My reservation was for 3 people. The breakfast was from 6-9am and by 8am they were out of many items and did would not refill them. Staff was nice but not very attentive and were in their cell phones.

I choose this place since it had a pool and being in Memphis in the middle of summer a pool would be a nice way to cool off but the pool was not operational, though they said they had a pool. There were 2 of us traveling but they only had 1 bath towel in the bathroom, and you don't realize that until it is too late since there were a bunch of other towels. If you walked around the room in your bare feet it felt like your feet were sticking to the floor. They were nice enough to have a box of tissues but when I grabbed the first one it was a little damp and then as I grabbed the second one it was wet and the third and fourth were also wet so I stopped trying to get a tissue. The staff did not appear to want to be there they did not welcome me when I arrived; they didn't have a smile on their face they appeared to just be going through the motions of just being there themselves. This was probably the worst hotel stay I have ever had.

This Hampton needs some work. Our shower was vacant of tile and moldy in the corners. One of the handrails in the elevator was hanging. All of the graphics were scratched. Our ice machine wasnt working. Its time to spend some of our invested money into this property.

Bathrooms are old and there were ants. Pool was drained (it was Memorial Day), and in general doors and room worn and old.

The room smelled clean, the staff was friendly. The free breakfast was amazing. The bed was a little uncomfortable but that was the only thing I could gripe about so overall 4.75 stars.

When I booked my room I booked a king study. When I arrived they didn’t seem really prepared for me the staff member had to look through the system to find me available room which was a Handicap Assessable room. The room was very uncomfortable bed was low to the floor toilet was up to high and was very uncomfortable to sit on shower didn’t drain well and shower knob set up was very complicated.

Right at the Baptist East hospital so it is super convenient for doctor's appointments. Restaurants on Poplar Ave. were also very easy to get too. I would stay there again.

I liked the location - convenient to Shelby Farms Park. I did not like how run down the facility was. My door was broken and took quite a bit of force to close properly. Two of the 4 lights in the bathroom were burned out. There was black mold in places in the shower and shower door. I'm used to Hampton Inn being better than this.

The hotel was a bit old and grundy but the staff was very pleasant!

There is not a fridge in the rooms. Even the cheap motels have fridges.

The staff was very friendly. The bathroom was not as clean as it could be.

Property location is very convenient for people wanting to visit the Baptist Hospital. Not very good breakfast. Wasn’t very good food and didn’t have it stocked very well.

I have stayed in this hotel several times before while visiting family. Sadly, the poor check in experience really tarnished the hotel for us this time. I'm not sure if we will be returning. Upon check in, we were told that the room type we had selected was not available. The only room that was available only fit our family if they added a roll away bed. I was told that even though I had booked and paid for the room one month prior, since I had booked on Orbitz my room was not guaranteed. We did eventually get the room we had booked after the guest who was supposed to have the room agreed to change to another room. I felt that this was handled very poorly. As I said, it ruined the rest of our stay. The room was clean, we were near the elevator so it was noisy. The breakfast buffet was nice. That said, not sure we will be staying again.

We stay in the hotel 6 days. Pros:The bredfast is pretty good it has many varieties. The bed is very comfortable. Location is good to go UM. Cons: The bathroom has a good size but can see some items are needed to be fixed but not yet. This does not give a well usages. The room does not vocume every day as can see carpet is not that clean. This maybe we stay for 6 days?

This hotel was in there everything we need it at the right time. In about 15 minutes drives there's a Target, Sprouts, Whole Foods. The breakfast was probably delicious but the beds were so comfortable that we missed it.

Overnight stay to attend a wedding. quiet area just off 240. Rooms were quiet (even though young teen ball players were right next to us!) Comfortable beds. Individual room climate control. Pleasant staff.

Hotel was quiet even with a huge family reunion being held there. Good breakfast. I wish my bed was made daily - not with fresh sheets but made. I also was short a washcloth one night. Over all nice hotel.
