I was in a buddy's wedding and the reception was located at this hotel. The food was great and there was plenty of room on the dance floor. The staff were extremely helpful and the reception looked beautiful.

This property is located just across the street from a mall and the Roger Maris Museum (which shouldn't be missed). We had appetizers and drinks downstairs before going out to dinner elsewhere. Our room was very nicely appointed. This was the second Delta Hotel property we've stayed at and hope for more to come to the US. The front desk personnel was very friendly and helpful.

Great stay! Arrived late and checked into a regular double. Discovered the sink in the bathroom did not drain. A manager immediately came up and tried to fix it. When that didn’t work the moved us to a suit across the hall at no extra charge. Love a hotel that makes things right. Breakfast buffet was delicious with very friendly staff. Only complaint is the lady at the pool. She was very rude and crabby. She appeared to be checking chemical levels at of the pool. She spent most of the time scowling at every kid that walked by! She was also very rude when my kids asked about the hot tub. I get that there are rules for safety but there is not need to take it out on two kids. She truly ruined the pool experience for my kids! It’s unfortunate when people hate their jobs and take it out on paying customers! Other then that terrible lady the hotel is wonderful! Clean and modern!

Services were very good and professional. The building was clean and quiet. There is a large conference center attached to the building. The onsite restaurant serves the public and caters the conference center. Does a very good job at doing both. Some good pubs and bars within walking distance, for variety's sake. Good location close to the Interstates.

We stayed in Fargo for a long weekend for an event. We weren't overwhelmed or underwhelmed by the Delta Hotel Fargo. The rooms were okay. They were a little dated, but the beds were comfortable. We did not visit the restaurant after TRYING to visit the restaurant for breakfast. As a Platinum Premier, you are given breakfast coupons (value of $6), and it's good only for continental breakfast (fine). If you want to add hot, it's around $11.99 (so you pay the difference). In my 13 years on the road, I can truly say that this was the most pitiful, disgusting offering of breakfast I have ever seen (paying for it or for free). There were four chafers of hot food on a fold out table, then there were a few mini muffins, boxes of sugar cereal and a tub of oatmeal. Your $6 free breakfast is the muffins, cereal and oatmeal and if you upgrade, you get the four chafers. SOOOOO disappointing. I was so disappointed that I walked my breakfast coupons back to the front desk and requested my points. I asked to give feedback. The front desk said they would have the food and beverage manager contact me, but never heard from him/her. The biggest plus of this hotel was the indoor pool. There wasn't much for us to do in Fargo, so it was great to entertain my 8 year old. I was a little disappointed that there was a very large birthday party (outside party, not guest of the hotel), on the Saturday during our stay. It made the pool total chaos for guests staying at the hotel. During our stay, there was also a fire alarm at 6:45 a.m. on Sunday morning. I get it. The staff has no control over this, but with almost all of the guests in the lobby in their pajamas, they refused to answer any questions. I went to ask 'is the hotel on fire--should we not be waiting in the lobby' and the front desk 'timidly' said, we're checking. WHAT? Tell us to get out if it's on fire. I think that the hotel needs to review their fire safety procedures and also review how they communicate to guests during a drill. We were in the lobby for about 45 minutes and it being a busy weekend, they should have SHARED more information with guests. There was zero apology. Zero empathy. Would probably not stay again.

I had an Anniversary Reward Night from my Marriott credit card, so a friend and I used it when we traveled to an antique sale. Let’s start with the cons, it’s a short list: 1. Not much parking. There was an event of some kind at the hotel and had to drive around the lot for a while waiting for someone to leave (it was pouring rain) to get a spot. Perhaps designated parking for guests vs people attending an event. 2. Desk clerk had issues with her computer while checking us in. Swiped my credit card for “any incidental charges” multiple times. This resulted in a $54 room charge that shouldn’t have been. I used my Anniversary Night, so there shouldn’t have been a room charge. The desk clerk when we checked out in the morning didn’t know what to do, or how to fix this, so it took a while to track a manager down to have the charge removed. It was resolved, but I wouldn’t call it “seamless” or “efficient”. 3. Fire alarm went off at 6:45 AM on a Sunday. Rude awakening. Called the front desk to make sure the hotel wasn’t actually on fire. Got told that someone had pulled the alarm and there was no fire. Seconds later, the alarm quit, and a voice over an intercom said it was a false alarm. The alarm then started again and ran for about another 15 minutes before it finally ended. I understand this isn’t the hotels issue, but perhaps a way to silence the alarm at the hotel wouldn’t be a bad thing. I’m assuming the delay was waiting for a fire crew to arrive and turn it off. Now the good stuff: This hotel was an existing property that was renovated into the Delta. Looked like all new fixtures over the entire room. And it was CLEAN. This room was clearly designed by someone who put a lot of thought into how people use hotel rooms in 2017. There was a great nook just behind the door where you could drop your shoes or leave wet umbrellas. (It’s carpeted. I’d put in a row if the gorgeous tile in the lobby.). On the other side of the door is a shelf with a tray where you can leave your handbag (a little one - shelf isn’t huge), room keys, etc. The room itself was pretty small, but for two adults staying one night, it was plenty large. If you’ve got more than 2 people in your group, or kids, I’d definitely opt for a larger room. Good lighting, nice furniture, HUGE window and an actual thermostat so you can control your own heat/air. Let’s talk about outlets for a moment. My biggest pet peeve is having to hunt around the floorboards for an outlet. This room had outlets in spades. There was a very large desk area that had five...yes 5...outlets built into the back of the desk. There were 4 more between the two beds. The space between the beds also had a couple USB ports, and I believe an HDMI port. You will not be searching for a place to plug your electronics in. Our room had a small nook near the head of the bed where there was a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and sink. It was kind of an odd spot to put this, but it was nice to have. The complimentary bottled water was also a nice touch. Platform beds with huge, fluffy pillows. Those pillows were amazing! The mattress was hard as a rock, but most hotel beds are and I think I’m definitely in the minority preferring a soft bed. Clean, white bedding and a pretty cozy duvet. All in all, this was a nice hotel that I would stay at again.

Very nice rooms at a great rate. The 2 room suite is roomy and has everything you'd need. The bathroom is spacious. The lobby and convention area are newly remodeled since my visit last year. Great place for business or leisure

Visited the Delta by Marriott in Fargo again. The hotel looks amazing. When I sat down at the bar the bartender remembered my drink of choice and name from my visit the month prior. That's not something you expect in a hotel setting! This visit I had the chance to take advantage of a breakfast buffet which was awesome. Had everything I needed and was fast and delicious and very reasonably priced.

We recently stayed at the newly remodeled Delta Hotel by Marriott. The location to restaurants, the mall and freeways is great. We liked the room, but felt the bathroom to be on the small side. This seems typical of most of the hotels in the Marriott brand. Maid service seemed incomplete during our stay. There is certainly room for improvement in that department. The pool area was great for the kids and they thoroughly enjoyed the water slide! We wanted to order a pizza lunch for our group while at the pool. Unfortunately, there is no menu of items that could be served at the pool area and we had to go to the hotel's restaurant. There is no pizza listed on their menu -- only flatbreads!! The hotel staff did tell me that the restaurant was willing to make pizza for our group and serve it to us at the pool. The Delta Hotel would be wise to consider a way to advertise a menu of items that could be ordered and delivered at the pool.

Got a deal online through Expedia for a king suite. Upon arrival and checking in the desk clerk asked if instead we would like 2 queens as we had a child instead of a pull out couch I said no because we need a king bed being 6'6" the hotel queens are smaller than the average queen bed at home. She said okay I'll put you in a demi king suite which sounded like dummy and my fiancé and I looked at each other oddly but took the room keys and didn't think too much of it. She also told us one of the pools was down for maintenance but would be back up and running in the morning. Ok fine. We get to our room and the key cards didn't work. Back down I go. I ask what a dummy sweet is and she tells me they are out of king suites which is 2 separate rooms and more money than what she is trying to put us in and she was trying to make it up to us earlier by putting us in a queen suite when we don't fit in a queen bed being too tall for it. Magically there was 1 king suite left after all that crap! The next day the pool they said was closed was open but now the slide was closed for maintenance for a good portion of our down time. When asked the hotel clerk she said she could extend our checkout time some but we weren't leaving that day and had to be gone by check out the day after and the next day the main pool was closed in the morning for maintenance. The parents who stayed there were all upset too and were all from the same province as us. It was beyond frustrating!! The room was nice! Having the 2 rooms with the 2 tvs is a way for us have some down time as well as our daughter to have some down time. It also had table and chairs and a prep area so to speak but it needed a wash cloth, tea towel and dish soap in my mind to be complete. If you go there make sure to bring one. I brought our own paper dishes and plastic cutlery so that made it easy as it had a microwave and mini fridge. This hotel does have the largest water slide however when it is working. An adult can go down it. Nicely renovated.
