Will not be back. We live in town and decided to try this hotel for the pool. Everyone needs a wristband to be in the pool area. That would be fine but the wristbands don't stay on. They will check to make sure you have wristbands. Our room key continously quit working (because i guess that happens, go to the front desk EVERY time says the manager). This is a huge pain with a family of 5 coming and going. There were no sheets for the pullout bed because if you put sheets in the room "people will think they are dirty" so go back down to the front desk. The end table and clock were so sticky it was gross to touch. I received an email from Country Inn that states pool time is open 0600-1100 so they can clean. But they shut it down early. When we entered the pool area in the morning there was garbage and wristbands laying all over so not sure they really clean as much as just wanting everyone out. The sauna worked last night but would not turn on in the morning. Definitely not a welcoming feeling and the manager has no time for discussion because he is too busy with his family since it looks like he lives on site.

The front desk staff was very friendly. The bedding and pillows were very dingy and outdated. The bathroom had areas that looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. And the whole room had a foul musty smell. The carpets and furniture also smelt and looked very dirty

For the most part the hotel was clean but the carpet and towels are old and dingy. The room smelled a bit like smoke but it wasn’t too bad. The rooms could use a little updating. The front desk staff were very helpful and polite. We did not use the pool facilities.

Good, but a few things could be fixed

Checking in and the lobby was great! Breakfast had a good amount to choose from and clean. We only used the hot tub, which was great, but for being called a water park isn’t very accurate when it’s just a slide. The room was very clean and bed was great. The bathroom had a hard to move and noisy sink faucet. The shower faucet was loose, but good pressure. Hate the cloth shower curtains though. For the most part it’s a great hotel!

The location was great which is one of the reasons we chose this hotel. However, the overal condition of the hotel is very poor. All the carpeting should be replaced. The hotel needs a thorough cleaning to hopefully remove the faint oder of wet dog and vomit. The beds and pillows need to be replaced. The eggs that were served for breakfast were not consumable. The pool area is great, but that's not enough to get us to come back.
