Staybridge Suites Bismarck3.0 out of 5.0

I stayed 4 nights at Staybridge Suites in Bismarck, ND during November 2017. It was welcoming and cozy given that snow had already fallen and the temperatures started in the teens each day. It was very clean and quiet and I slept well. A must-have for me when traveling for more than 2 days is a good exercise center and I was very happy with what was available at Staybridge Suites. There were 2 treadmills, an elliptical machine, a stationary bike, free weights, and a multi-muscle standing weight lifting machine. All very clean and well-maintained. Complementary breakfast was nice--I eat strictly vegan and I did fine with oatmeal, bread, fruit, juice, and coffee. Having a fridge, microwave and kitchen sink in the room (which is what makes it a suite, I guess) was really handy, too, for heating up leftovers from a restaurant.
Very very quiet, the staff was great, the room very nice get the suite apts has a small kitchenette, bathroom is very large and the room is very clean. Has a breakfast in the morning which was pretty good. Great location right off the ramp and numerous places to eat nearby.
Hotel is off a bit from the freeway so that eliminates a ton of noise. I wad worried about getting a room backing the elevators but I never once heard any mechanical noise AND, because of the way the room was situated, my bed was far enough from the door that it masked almost all hallway noises. Made for a very restful sleep. Do I have any complaints? No !
I would rate it a 4 1/2 if available. I stayed for 2 nights in a queen suite which was set up very well and was the King 1 bdr., I've stayed in in the past. All staff were friendly and efficient and the breakfast/social hour staff went out of their way to be accommodating. I've stayed in many hotels in Bismarck and this one has the best amenities of any I've been to. I did have a little noise from the room above me and my room, while very clean, was not spotless.
Room was great, service was great, atmosphere was great, breakfast was better than average. Always stay at Staybrige if possible! Hasn't failed me yet at any location! Location was easy to find. Moving to Washington from South Dakota and got a hotel along the way.
The rooms here are very comfortable, clean and decent sized. The kitchenette works although the cooktop burners run a bit on the small size. Dont use anything other than a small to medium saucepan to try to boil water. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. The outdoor grill area has 2 nice grills that work great. The only fault I can find is with the HVAC in the rooms. They have motion sensors to detect when you are away. This is done to "save" energy when you are away for the day. When you get back to your room after being out all day at work and it is a hot summer day, thenroom feels really stuffy. The AC then needs to run all night to get the room down to a comfortable temp. I don't think there is really any cost savings happening. Also, none of the windows in the rooms open, so if you like fresh air, you won't be able to get it. Otherwise this is a super place to stay.
I'm just upset these aren't along 90 from Yellowstone. Room, service, amenities are always good. Clean rooms, ok beds, clean bathrooms. All those things are important to me. Consistency is key to success and Staybridge has figured this out.
I am ecstatic about this hotel! Our family of 4 and our aunt were looking for a room that would accommodate all of us comfortably without having to get 2 hotel rooms. Many hotels didn't have a vacancy or didn't offer 2 queens and a pullout sofa. Luckily we stumbled upon availability at Staybridge! To our surprise they offered 2 queens and a king! Perfect! When we checked in the front desk attendant was very friendly. We learned they had a happy hour with food and spirits! Go Staybridge! We got to our room and my jaw dropped! It is a 2 bedroom apartment! There is a kitchen and living room with a Queen room on one side and a king size bed on the other. Each room has a bathroom! We didn't know they had a burger and hot dog bar until 7:30. We got pizza and brought it back to the hotel. We ate pizza, burgers, salad and drank wine and beer. I was happy as a clam!
Our family stayed here 2 nights and highly recommend it. Check in was easy, access to interstate is good, good parking. Kids enjoyed the pool. Rooms were great, clean, new, good size! Breakfast every morning, and a simple supper Mon-Wed, awesome when you're traveling and just want to get to your hotel and stay there!
Our family has and will continue to stay here in the future. We get the two room divided by a living room and kitchen area. Cook ware and eating ware are provided. The rooms, breakfast area, fitness, pool and laundry room are all clean and maintained.
