Unfortunately not a great experience. I booked a standard 2 queen room. I received an email from the resort asking if I would like to bid on an upgrade. I choose to bid on a suite. 24 hours before arrival it tells me I won. I show up to check in and they tell me it’s not available. Honestly not a huge deal I only needed the 2 queen anyway. I arrived at 11pm get to my room and it’s not cleaned bathing suit clothing tags in middle of the floor messy beds and dirty bathroom no surfaces wiped down. I go back to desk ask for it to be cleaned they say yes. I wait an hour in the dirty room and no one shows up I ask desk for another room I’d like to get sleep after my 4 hour drive there. The lady at the desk gives me another room. Go to the room the room is cleaned but smells like weed and it’s 77 degrees in the room. I turn the ac on and when I wake up room still hot Ac doesn’t work in the room. Was extremely disappointed in the stay but honestly I blame myself I could have went 15 minutes up the road and stayed at Kalahari which never disappoints instead of saving the 200. Oh and the 25 a night to park is a joke they sell so many day passes if you run out to get something mid day good luck finding a spot again. If I have to pay to park overnight I should be able to find parking.
